OK MassResistance, Targeting Bartlesville Schools

In “conservative” Oklahoma school district, local citizens go into high school library and find obscene pornographic books.

School administrators and school board members acknowledge the books are there.

But they are not interested in how porn affects young people – or why the school librarian brought it in.

Our MassResistance activists aren’t stopping!

In today’s world, pornography is not just an abstract moral issue. It’s a national problem that seriously damages the mental and emotional health of millions. It can harm children and teenagers for their entire lives.

Why is there so much horrible material in the public schools – even in schools run by “conservative” Republican school committees? As we’re finding out, a big reason is that these officials aren’t particularly interested in finding out what’s in their own schools – or stopping the obscenity. But local citizens are finally punching back.

Bartlesville, Oklahoma – a town of 38,000 in the northeast part of the state – is 67 percent “conservative Republican.” However, many parents there have decided to homeschool their children rather than send them to the public schools.

Our MassResistance chapter there recently ignited citizen pressure to derail a hideous Drag Queen event for children in a public park. That success has encouraged our people to continue!

Last month, a few of our Bartlesville activists decided to see if the local high school’s library had any of the obscene sexual/LGBT books for youth listed on national websites. They were surprised to find that one website showed Bartlesville High School as having dozens of them! Could that really be true?

What’s happening in the schools is ultimately affecting all of us. So even though our activists don’t have children in the schools, as taxpayers they felt they needed to go to the school library and find out for themselves.

The month-long “journey” to find out

It took a month of persistence, but they got permission to go into the school library.

In early August they reached out to the Superintendent for permission. After stalling for a while, he arranged for them to meet with the Director of School Operations. They presented him with the list of books from the website. He said he would find out if those books are in the library and get back to them.

At that meeting they showed him a copy of the book It’s Perfectly Normal, which targets young children with explicit drawings of nude adults and children, several in sexual positions. He was aghast at the pictures, they said, and said that a book like that certainly didn’t belong in a school. It was an interesting reaction.

He also told them that there is a “challenge process” if they don’t like any of the books. They responded that people shouldn’t have to “challenge” books in a school library that are obviously pornographic.

On August 27, the Director of School Operations finally got back to our activists. He acknowledged that 85 percent of the books on that list were, in fact, in the high school library! He didn’t seem embarrassed about it at all. He certainly didn’t seem to think they should be removed.

Our activists then asked to be allowed to go to the school library and see the books for themselves. He said he’d get back to them on it. But weeks went by and they didn’t hear anything.

So on September 15, our activists attended the School Board meeting and read aloud excerpts from a few of the books. They demanded, as taxpayers, to be allowed to go and look at them. The Superintendent relented and arranged for them to go to the high school library.

Three days later they showed up and were allowed to have free rein there.

Knowing that our activists were coming, it was surprising that librarians didn’t make any effort to hide the books – which were right out in plain sight. So it was easy to take photos of about 30 of the books.

Books that are poisonous for teenagers (or anyone!)

These books are on the “obscene list” websites for a reason. The subject matter and descriptions in these books are sickening.

For example, this book, The Haters by Jesse Andrews was fairly prominent. Here is an excerpt of what’s inside it. [Caution: very disturbing]

As we mentioned above, probably the most disturbing part of this is that the “conservative” school officials – including the school board members – clearly had no problem with these books being purchased with taxpayer money and made available to the high school students. Even after our activists read from one at the school board meeting, there was no interest in examining them, much less actually removing them.

Our next step: getting answers!

Over the next few weeks, we are going to demand answers.

All these school officials – librarians, administrators, school board members – owe parents and taxpayers their explanations why they think these books are “good” for teenagers.

Of all the millions of books available for teenagers, why did the school select these? It’s certainly not an accident.

We were told that the high school librarian has been there for 27 years. It’s well known that certain publishers specialize in teen pornography, and which books contain such material. The librarian would have known the books’ contents. So what possible value did this person see in these degenerate books?

And all of this begs the question: What other radical horrors are being presented to kids at this school – that the “conservative” officials are simply ignoring or going along with? We intend to find out.

Clearly, there are people working at the school who should find other employment.

Final thoughts

Most conservatives immediately “go after the books.” They want the bad books immediately removed. Then they’ll be satisfied. That’s the easier, short-sighted way out of this.

As we’ve said so many times, the books didn’t just walk in by themselves. People put them there. And if the books are simply removed, other bad ones will take their place. It’s necessary to get to the root of the problem: perverted people who must be purged from our school systems.

Breitbart: The Weekly Wrap: Tarifflation Is Not Just MIA, but Tariffs Are Reducing Prices

Tarifflation Is Not Just MIA: Tariffs Are Reducing Prices

The Department of Commerce released the latest edition of the personal consumption expenditure price index on Friday. It showed that inflation remains stubbornly above the Fed's two percent target but not because of tariffs. For the second month in a row, the prices of durable goods—those most likely to be influenced by tariffs—fell.

Importantly, this decline is not coming from a lack of demand for durable goods. Things are not falling in price because people aren't buying them. Real consumer spending—that is, after adjusting for inflation—on durable goods rose by 0.9 percent. People are buying more durable goods at cheaper prices.

This is absolutely devastating to the idea that tariffs are a tax on consumers. Even more devastating to that claim, however, is the evidence from a tariff tracker of prices. The tariff tracker, which is run out of the Pricing Lab at Harvard Business School, shows that since Liberation Day when tariffs were announced, the prices of imported goods in tariff-affected categories are up by less (just 1.13 percent) than domestically produced goods in unaffected categories (up by 1.25 percent). In other words, the stuff directly subject to tariffs has risen by less than the prices of stuff not even indirectly subject to tariffs. If we annualize the gains, tariffed imports are up 2.41 percent and non-tariff affected domestic goods are up 2.76 percent.

But wait. There's more. Or less, really. The prices of domestically produced goods in categories affected by tariffs—that is, U.S. made goods competing with imports—are down 0.67 percent since Liberation Day. That works out to an annualized decline of 1.42 percent.

If this sort of thing keeps happening, we would not be surprised to see Harvard just shut down the tracker. It's too embarrassing for the tariff-hating establishment.

Democrats Are Sliding into Oblivion on the Economy

The latest poll numbers from Reuters/Ipsos show that while the public is not exactly enthusiastic about Republican leadership on the economy, the GOP is far ahead of Democrats. Thirty-four percent of American adults say Republicans have a better plan for the economy, which is stellar. But just 24 percent say Democrats have a better plan. In a two-party system, that's the kind of lead that wins elections.

We suspect one reason for the advantage is that no one knows what the Democrat plan for the economy might be. And that includes the leadership of the Democratic Party. They certainly have made it clear that they oppose Trump and the Republican tax cut bill, but they have not articulated a positive vision for the economy. Even more, they haven't really articulated even their negative vision. Would they repeal Trump's tariffs? Would they raise taxes on retirees or people with tipped income? How exactly do they plan to bring down, say, electricity or healthcare prices? The inescapable conclusion is that they either do not have a vision to articulate or know their vision would be so unpopular that they have to keep it quiet. So, publicly, it's just fear and loathing all the way down.

Not surprisingly, the American public is not enthusiastic about this as a plan for the economy.

Idaho GOP Op-Ed: For Charlie

Op-Ed: For Charlie

by Dorothy Moon, IDGOP Chairwoman

I still can’t believe Charlie Kirk is gone. Even after that incredible memorial service and tribute to his life and work last Sunday, I keep thinking I’m going to wake up and find everything back to normal.

But no. This is our world now, and we have to live in it.

I don’t want to dwell on the awful things we’ve heard from some on the left these past two weeks. It’s encouraging that the public is rising up and demanding accountability. Instead, I want to focus on why Charlie Kirk was so influential, and how we can carry his legacy forward.

Charlie lived a life free of fear. He walked onto college campuses across the country knowing he would face not only disagreement but also angry protests. Rather than hiding, he handed the microphone to his biggest detractors, choosing debate over shouting matches.

But Charlie was more than a campus debater. He was a master organizer, building Turning Point USA from scratch at just 18 years old and spearheading a massive get-out-the-vote effort that helped return Donald Trump to the White House nearly a year ago.

Make no mistake: Charlie’s assassination is a devastating loss for America and for the conservative movement. Yet even from this great evil, some good may come.

I’m encouraged by what I see on college and high school campuses today. Through both his life and his death, Charlie Kirk has inspired millions of young people to take up the torch of liberty. As Ronald Reagan reminded us, freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction—it must be fought for again and again. I believe the next generation is ready for that fight, and we have Charlie to thank for it.

Charlie accomplished more in his short life than most of us will in three times as long. Vice President J.D. Vance said it best: “Charlie Kirk suffered a terrible fate… but it’s not the worst fate. It is better to face a gunman than to live your life afraid to speak the truth.”

Charlie lived out his faith and his beliefs. In his absence, we are challenged to do the same. What does it look like to truly walk the walk? That answer is different for each of us. Maybe it means running for office to represent your community. Maybe it means volunteering for a campaign or your local Republican Party. Maybe you don’t have time but you can give financially.

One thing Charlie Kirk taught us is that life is too short to waste on the sidelines. We must live in the arena, fighting to build a better tomorrow for generations to come.

Do it for Charlie. Do it for America.

LGBT Activists are Religious Zealots Pushing a Cult

19 States and DC Filed Against Us and Openly Support LGBTQ Over Religious Freedom

Liberty Counsel’s case Zinski v. Liberty University has caught the attention of 19 blue states and the District of Columbia. They are terrified and filed a brief against us. Your prayers are urgently needed.

Nineteen states plus the District of Columbia filed amicus briefs to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in our case Zinski v. Liberty University. Their brief seeks to force Christian churches and institutions to put them in charge of Christian doctrine to prioritize the LGBTQ agenda over religious freedom.

If they win, churches and Christian universities will be forced to hire drag queens and promote the blasphemous idea that God makes mistakes by putting people in the “wrong body.” More on that in a moment.

Do you want your church or Christian school to be forced to hire drag queens or “gender queers” (their term, not mine) whose actions and behavior contradict biblical doctrine? If your answer is “no,” then please help us win this fight by praying and financially supporting our legal fund today. Liberty Counsel will file our reply brief with the Court next week, on September 30.

Don't let drag queens and “gender queers” corrupt Christian doctrine! Every donation made to our legal fund today will be DOUBLED in impact by a special Challenge Grant.

This case was a setup from the beginning. Jonathan Zinski had been taking female hormones for four months before he applied for a job and affirmed his agreement to abide by Liberty University’s doctrinal statement. Liberty clearly states that God created male and female — and that to live in a way that contradicts His design is sin.

The fact that he was actively preparing to “identify” as “female” BEFORE he applied proves that Zinski never had any intention of abiding by the doctrinal statement he signed. Zinski signed it in bad faith with the intention of suing the school at his first opportunity — which, in this case, was as soon as his 90-day probationary period ended.

Jonathan Zinski was not fired because of his “feelings” or “status,” but rather, Zinski was fired because his “conduct” and actions that are openly contrary to Liberty doctrine.

Zinski’s attempt to “set up” Liberty University for a lawsuit goes far beyond the LGBTQ sideshow he is desperately trying to pull off.

Should churches be forced to hire atheists to preach from the pulpit?

Should Jewish synagogues be forced to hire hog farmers to preside over Shabbat services?

Should Catholics be forced to appoint abortionists as priests?

The answer is no, of course. And neither should our client, or any other Bible-believing institution, be forced to hire men in drag.

We need your help to stop the LGBTQ’s attempts to corrupt Christian doctrine and eradicate biblical truth. Support our legal fund today.

The First Amendment gives churches TOTAL autonomy to accept or reject anyone to be members of their churches. Judges and government agents have NO jurisdiction over church membership. The courts cannot force a church or religious institution to change their doctrine or accept someone who rejects that doctrine.

Religious employers, like our client Liberty University, have a right to carry out their religious mission, and they do so through their employees. If an employee’s actions do not comport with their mission and doctrine, the religious institution must have the right to fire the employee.

The simple fact is a religious institution has the absolute right to hire people who carry out the institution’s doctrinal mission. By the same measure, a religious institution has the absolute right to fire employees whose actions and behaviors compromise that mission.

The LGBTQ “trans” movement is a harmful attack on God by attacking His most beautiful creation — humans. We are made in the image of our God, who knew us before He formed us.

To insist that God “made a mistake” by putting someone in the wrong body is anti-Christ-like thinking that insists that God is fallible.

This disastrous thinking is also a grave danger to the person. When a man or woman rejects how God created them, it is often out of childhood abuse, mental health issues, or autism. When they are told they are “a mistake,” it tears down the soul and results in self-hatred every time they look in the mirror.

The anger against themselves is often projected upon others who refuse to affirm the person’s gender delusion. As we have seen far too often lately — from the trans Catholic school shooter in MN, the trans Christian school shooter in TN, and even the trans who murdered Charlie Kirk, that anger is often deadly, with or without psychosis-inducing pharmaceutical drugs.

Blind affirmation is not love. Love does not stay silent in the face of grotesque lies. Neither should our churches and Christian institutions.

The idea that God mistakenly put someone in the wrong body is antichrist thinking. And we must not allow government agents to force us to promote an antichrist agenda.

Help us fight for the gospel, Christian institutions, and the First Amendment by supporting our legal fund today. A Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the impact of your gift.
