Mayor Guidi demanded that Centinela Valley stop tearing things down.
He wasn't talking about the substandard education that the students have been getting.
He was talking about the Historic buildings on the Leuzinger campus, a historic legacy, in part because now legend Blonde Bombshell lived four blocks away from the campus.
And what does this discussion have to do with improving the instruction of our young people?
Just like the inane insane battles-royale that have erupted between school board and school unions, these ancillary demonizing attacks on whether to Build up or to Build down are ignoring the core constituency that needs to be on our minds: the students, the teachers, and the efficacy of the school sites!
Marilyn Monroe, great actress and comedienne. But what about all the future actors, comedians, writers, poest, architects, doctors and lawyers who could paving our future, and who could be taking off from the Centinela School Districts?
