Run, Jeb, Run! (Away!) -- The True Act of Love

Jeb Bush's Act of Love:
Not Running for President
Jeb Bush of the Bush (not Duck) Dynasty announced earlier today that he is thinking about running for President.

Former Democratic US Senator John Kerry contemplated another run for President, too, in 2008.

Retired (sadly) Comedian Jay Leno suggested that he sit down and let the feeling pass.

I think that the elder Bush should do the same thing.

Bush One was so-so, and Bush II had bad parts as well as good.

Jeb Bush, whose name floated around inner GOP circles in 2008 as well as 2012 as a potential presidential contender , has a commanding resume as former Governor of Florida. He supported school choice and vouchers, signed off on legislation to protect the Everglades, and he voted a high-speed bullet train project.

Today, sensing the Chamber of Commerce/Big Establishment's interest, Jeb supports Common Core, which is Obamacare for public education. "If you like your K-12 education, you can keep it."

Result? Teachers are opting out by retiring or rebelling against the state legislatures. Parents and students are fed up with Common Core, as well. Even in liberal enclaves like New York parents and teachers are rebelling against the quiet federalized overreach into public education.

Jeb is also trying to promote amnesty through the back door by calling illegal immigration "An Act of Love."

Ask the border patrol agents who get attacked on a weekly basis whether they think that illegal immigrants crossing the US-Mexico border if those actions are an act of love.

The struggling working classes in this country are fighting for jobs as it is, and the country cannot service the debt accumulated from the entitlement burdens in place. The welfare state is stretched too far, with most of the money devoted to the bureaucrats and administrators who "supervise" the benefits, taking most of the money for themselves.

A blanket amnesty will create huge tears in the already shredded welfare state, plus strain public schools and hospitals.

Get rid of the welfare state, provide adequate border patrols, screen for health and national security concerns, and immigration reform will be easy.

Jeb Bush wants amnesty first, calling illegal immigration "an Act of Love"

Frankly, Jeb Bush's best act of love would be to give up any pretense of running for President. The party is changing, with a grassroots conservatism pushing back the Big Business wing, which the Bush brand represents all too well.

  1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! A "commanding resume"! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Oh, BTW, asshat: Jay "I haven't been funny since at least 1977" Leno isn't "retired". He's (thankfully, for comedy's sake) off the air, but not "retired", dumbass. Thanks again for the laughs, Artie. Like they say, don't ever change!
