Gay CounterMentum: Mozilla FireFox

No Time to Wave the White Flag or Waive One's Rights
In the Face of the Leftist Onslaught
About one month ago, I wrote a piece for Go Local Prov called Gay CounterMentum.

I first pointed out that Providence, Rhode Island, the debt-ridden capital of the Ocean State, also acts as an unofficial (if not already announced) gay capital of the world, including a former openly gay mayor turned Congressman David Cicilline, followed by the first openly gay House Assembly Speaker Gordon Fox (both Democrats), who beat California Assembly Speaker John Perez by about two months.

Conservative commentator Travis Rowley commented on the "gay economy" too, and he continues to fight for the right (and The Right, as in limited government, individual liberty free market conservative) agenda.

The state also passed gay marriage in 2013, despite the numerous political, legal, moral, and financial strains sinking Rhode Island. With 24,000 leaving the state, burdened with the highest unemployment rate in the country, plus an eighty-year Democratic dominance which has impoverished wealth creation while entrenching dependence, Rhode Island lawmakers needed to be focusing on getting the government back down to size and getting out of people's lives.

While the push for gay marriage seemed benign to some, one of the local conservative activists argued otherwise. Religious institutions were forced to close down or compromise  on their core values. Students in public schools are now being taught that they may or may not be gay. The invasion of the homosexual agenda into the daily concourse of Rhode Island and Massachusetts has alarmed many.

I also listed  number of examples where this militant, anti-liberty agenda was silencing (or at least attempting to silence) conscientious objectors to homosexual conduct.

While Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty was able to overcome his indefinite suspension by A and E following his candid remarks about homosexuality as well as other issues, another causality of militant homosexual activists, otherwise termed "The Gay Gestapo" or "The Gaystapo", "Homofascism" or even "Rainbow Nazism".

Springtime for Hitler? Not exactly.

The last phrase is not as trite or erroneous as may seem. Ernst Rhoem, one of Hitler's first  Brown Shirt leaders, was openly gay, and was in bed with his boyfriend when Hitler had him assassinated during the leadership purge entitled The Night of the Long Knives.

At any rate, the aggressive homosexual agenda has shamed churches into silence or into closure, or worst of all accommodation, as is the case of Rhode Island, as well as the United Churches of Christ (which are not Christ-like in their distortion of Scripture, grace, and the life more abundantly offered by the Gospel)

Now, this Leftist onslaught targeted the recently appointed and now resigned CEO of Mozilla Firefox  Brendan Eich, who had donated $1000 to the Prop 8 campaign in 2008, which codified marriage as one man and one woman in the California state constitution. The initiative was overturned in 2013, but the "sore winners" (per Fox News contributor George Will) now seek to personalize, polarize, and demonize (or pulverize) all who have supported the notion that marriage is between one man and one woman.

Truth Revolt emerged late  last year to start combatting these Alinksy-like tactics of the left, as well as the accommodating or accentuating white wash (or rainbow spread) of the "mainstream media", which punishes people for speaking their mind and declaring their point of view, refusing to be shamed into silence because they uphold a position contrary to the leftist, homofascist agenda

The latest petition from Truth Revolt demands an end to the targeting, shaming, and marginalization of conservatives who believe that marriage should be one man and one woman.

Please visit and sign the petition here.

Here is the pledge with the petition:

We, the undersigned, pledge to uninstall or cease usage of Mozilla Firefox in protest over Mozilla’s decision to fire Eich for his position on traditional marriage, which is held by tens of millions of religious and conservative Americans. Mozilla’s intolerance and discrimination against those with different political and religious viewpoints stands in stark contrast to its supposed mission to enshrine “equality and freedom of speech,” and must not be tolerated.

Like Ben Shapiro and a growing consensus of conservatives and libertarian-leaning Republicans, I believe that marriage should be a private matter entirely. Get the government out of marriage, and get the government back to the basics: protect our natural rights, secure our national borders, and respect all other rights and privileges pertaining to  the states and the people.

As for Firefox, hit the Escape Key on their intolerant bigotry and take back the fight and the website for freedom of speech, liberty, and conscience.
Boycott Firefox and Tell Friends, Family, and all lovers of Freedom (gay or straight) to do the same
Time to punch back, twice as hard, at the Homofascist Gaystapo
