I have met many Christians who refuse the tracts which I share with them:
"But I am already born again!" They tell me.
I find it fascinating and sad that so many believers in the Body of Christ treat Christ and Him Crucified as a small issue.
They believe on Him for eternal life, yet they live from day to day as if they do not have any power but their own.
Eternal life brings with it every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus!
We are called to keep receiving from Him:
"For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." (Romans 5: 17)
"Keep receiving" it should read.
Grace and righteousness are gifts which we are ever receiving from Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are called to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord, as well (2 Peter 3 18)
Most people are not receiving His grace, but still trusting in their works.
If we are born again, but still acting like outsiders, then we are not walking in faith, but acting out of unbelief, out of unrest.
We are born again, yet we have born into a grand, eternal inheritance. Why settle for "barely get by" when God sent His Son to buy you redemption from sins and all other aspects of the curse through His Blood at the Cross!
