| Kat Cammack sells out on natural marriage |
Florida Congresswoman Kat Cammack has been presenting herself as a bright, hardcore, pro-family activist.
She has a stirring story, and she is an upstart fighter.
Yet, when it came to legislation that normalized false marriage, the DIS-Respect for Marriage Act, HR 8404, she voted FOR it.
In early August, she was confronted by outraged constituents furious with her for caving on pro-family principles and advancing false marriage.

This is really disturbing.
What kind of conservative caves to the LGBT agenda in such a brazen fashion?
Her current Congressional district includes Gainesville, Florida, a college town with a significant LGBT presence. She is more afraid of the LGBT activists than her own voters. When will conservatives understand that our representatives won't respect us until they fear us?
Conservative" politicians often get away with liberal votes because many voters don't want to settle for the alternative, a regressive leftist Democrat. Then again, Republican activists should start investing in pushing for primary challengers to shake up and scare these elected officials in a more determined fashion.
One good report comes out of Kat Cammack's caving on the corruption of marriage: her constituents sternly reminded her that the natural family stills matter to them, and they expect her and other politicians to fight for natural marriage.
This issue is not settled one bit. With the overturning of Roe v. Wade, there is hope that the culture wars are indeed shifting in our favor. We need to adopt more of the tactics of the pro-life movement and push for a robust pro-family culture, as well.
