Letter to the Editor (Pro-Buttigieg, Anti-Trump): "If It's An Abomination to Eat Pork and Selfish ..."

This is the most entertaining hate mail I have ever received, specifically for something that I wrote for Townhall.com.

This guy,  Robert Berger, went on a secular, left-wing tirade against me for my support for President Trump, but more importantly he opposed my official, outspoken opposition to Mayor Pete Buttigieg who is running for President as the latest progressive wunderkind. Mayor Pete is indeed a self-righteous, fraudulent, anti-Christian bigot masquerading as a faithful, Midwestern type.

One of the best lines in Robert Berger's letter below:

Homosexuality is "sinful behavior "?   Well, according to the  Bible , it's an abomination to eat pork and selfish [Sic].  When was the last time you protested at your local  Red lobster restaurant demanding that our government  make  the consumption of selfish  illegal ?    Do you like pork?   Sorry,  your  imaginary   bronze age Semitic sky god is   really miffed  if you do,

Here's the letter that I sent to him in response to his massive, angry, embittered letter below:

Dear Mr. Berger:

I did not realize that the Bible banned eating "Selfish". Perhaps you should start reading your Bible instead of thumping it. I would recommend using "Spellcheck" and "Grammarly", too.

Your making such foolish mistakes in your email comes as no surprise to me:

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." (Psalm 14:1

Second, I found your letter littered with anti-Trump tirades and Trump Derangment Syndrome quite fascinating and out-loud hilarious! You really made my day.

Another wonderful verse comes to mind:

12The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. (Psalm 37:12-13)

Yet another:

10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:10)

I have published your entire letter on my blog and on my facebook wall!

God works in mysterious ways, confound the self-righteous who are wise in their own eyes.. God is certainly using President Trump, who so offends you and protected the rights, liberties, and fundamental values which Make America Great.

By the way, homosexuality and transgenderism and other sexual paraphilias are harmful to the individuals who engage in those behaviors and to society as a whole. That is not a phobia, that is an act of love.

Sorry that you have no caring for those in bondage to destructive behaviors, and that you would defend an LGBT bigot committed to keeping those individuals in bondage.

Thanks again for your letter -- it was quite entertaining and confirmed everything that people have revealed about unhinged, embittered liberals.

Hello Mr. Schaper ! 

As a non-observant, secular, liberal and agnostic Jew , I would like to put in my two cents worth regarding your latest post at Town  Hall .   Frankly, Im absolutely appalled by the  hypocrisy and bigotry you show here .  You are projecting,  which is a typical conservative tactic .   You are accusing presidential  hopeful Pete Buttigieg , who is an infinitely better human being than Trump will ever be  and would be an infinitely better president , of being "tyrannical " and "judgmental "?   How on earth is speaking up for the rights of gay Americans  "tyrannical "  ?

This is like Hitler calling the Jewish resistance in WW2  "tyrannical ".   "Judgmental ?   aren't YOU being extremely judgmental about  Mr. Buttigieg ?  And other conservatives who are oppose to gay rights ?

      I'm sorry . If you don't like same sex marriage, don't marry someone of the opposite sex .  Who is forcing you to do this ?  Or anyone else in America .   "Biblical values "?    You mean stoning gay people,

adulterous women, those who work on the sabbath ,  and parents having  rebellious children  stoned ?    "Biblical marriage " is actually  polygamy, something which has long been   illegal in America .

And we no longer pay others  a number of sheep and cattle to marry our daughters .

    America is not a Christian theocracy - get over it !    Not yet, that is .   The rights of gay Americans trump (no pun intended ) your religious beliefs .   if Buttigieg is  nominated  to run against Trump, 

don't vote for him .  You have the right to vote for  whomever you choose .    Vote in 2020 for a thrice married, twice divorced , unrepentant serial adulterer , shameless womanizer , sexual predator and possible

raise of at east one 13 year old girl .   man who thinks that his money , power fame and influence give him the right to paw, fondle and grab any woman he finds attractive .     The hypocrisy of  Christian Trump supporters is absolutely mind-boggling .  

     You  overlook his appalling record  with women and his countless other crimes and misdeeds  because he tells you what you want to hear .   You support Trump because he claims to be "pro-life "

even though we know he has paid his mistresses to have abortions  .   He was  pro-choice in the past .   Trump is not a homophobic bigot, but he conveniently allies himself  with  some of the most vicious antigay bigots in America, such as the loathsome Mike Pence, for his own  sinister and selfish  ulterior motives .  

   Let's face it ;  Trump is no more a Christian than I am  Godzilla .   This man s a total fraud .  He's a phony president, a phony businessman,  a phony Christian and a phony human being . 

There isn't an honest cell in his (boated [Sic]) body .  

     And anyone who thinks Trump has the best interests of the American people at heart is an idiot !   This despicable man  is  a narcissistic sociopath and a pathological liar .   A   man devoid of decency ,

compassion ,  kindness,  dignity ,  honesty, integrity ,   courage ,   wisdom ,   sound  judgment ,  intellect ,  learning ,  brains ,   talent  for anything but self promotion  etc .   Donald Trump has

absolutely no redeeming qualities .  He has never done any good for anyone  in his  life .  He is greedy, selfish-self-centered  , egotistical  ,  unscrupulous ,   petty ,   mean-spirited ,  

a   bully and a coward ,   has a  ridiculously childish mentality ,  and he babes idiotically and incoherently when  making speeches or addressing the American people .

       Trump is also the most corrupt and incompetent president in US history .  None of the previous  presidents comes even remotely close .   You cannot elect a blithering idiot president merely because

he  happens to be one of the biggest celebrities in America .   This is a recipe for  catastrophe in America .  

      Pardon me for being  brutally Frank Mr. Schaper,  but like others of your ilk, you make  me sick to my stomach !    People like  you give Christianity a bad name .    And I most certainly will vote for Mr. Buttigieg if he receives the Democratic nomination  .   Frankly, a pile of manure would do a far better job as president than  Trump .
