Of all the Congressmen who oppose Obama’s failed agenda,
Congressman Ryan stands out as the only legislator who articulated the concerns
of the American people: “The voters have spoken, Mr. President. You just aren’t
listening.”
As chairman of the House Budget Committee, Ryan has never
been afraid to tell the nation’s voters,
and his own constituents, the inescapable truth: the United States
federal government is going bankruptcy. He has proposed reasonable reforms for
unsustainable entitlements and revenue shortfalls.
Most importantly, Ryan has outlined the most cogent and consistent
argument against ObamaCare, identifying the chief promises that President Obama
has broken, including stimulus dollars that stimulated pork and waste instead of
jobs and economic recovery, along with rising unemployment even though the president
had guaranteed that unemployment would diminish during his term.
Ryan has outlined Obama’s carelessness regarding his
signature legislation:
1.
It’s a tax, even though the President still
vehemently argues otherwise. The Supreme Court has affirmed this position, to
the growing consternation of voters and the Democratic party.
2.
The bill was supposed to lower healthcare costs,
when in fact premiums have risen considerably in the two years since the bill
was passed.
3.
The President assured that Americans would be
able to keep their insurance, when now providers are cancelling coverage for clients
and carriers.
Perhaps Congressman Paul Ryan would be the perfect Vice
Presidential pick for Mitt Romney.
He could help the Massachusetts Governor carry Wisconsin
into the Republican column for the first time in twenty years.
