Christopher Dorner murdered three people in his quest for revenge against those who fired him from his job as a Los Angeles Police Officer. In his final hours, he was holed up in a Big Bear cabin, where another police officer was killed before the cabin was set on fire, and Dorner was burned to death.
One media drama has ended, but a greater drama is playing out in the state of California. This drama has nothing to do with the wounded residents in my home town of Torrance, CA, although I am saddened at the collateral damage which they suffered following the evil and unjustified massacre of Christopher Dorner.
There is another marauder attacking us, whose lethal attacks are not just killing our present state of affairs, but now threaten to harm our future. This murdering marauder is none other than the Democratic Supermajority currently in power in Sacramento. Ever since State Assembly Leader John Perez intimidated businesses and intervened with hundreds of thousands of dollars to malign small business owner Craig Huey in the Torrance-area Assembly District 66, the Democratic leaders achieved their first supermajority in decades.
Legislators have threatened to increase the car tax, rescind their meager pension reforms, and increase spending while claiming that they have “balanced the budget.” How much longer will the voters suffering from this murderous lack of leadership which taxes and spends, regulates and frustrates us into a corner of bankruptcy, poverty, and stagnant economic opportunities?
After Dorner, the state of California is still dying slowly, burning away because of high taxes, higher regulations, and the height of overspending. While police officers and serving their communities and protecting us from criminals, no one is protecting the taxpayers and the residents of the state of California from the wasteful and unaccountable Democratic Supermajority.
