"And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
"But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. (Exodus 13: 17-18)
Sometimes the Lord will not force us to endure immense difficulties. Just as the Israelites, who were recently redeemed from out of the hands of Pharaoh, did not have to pass through hostile territories against wily and fearsome enemeis, so new believers, once they have received the grace of God by faith in Christ, will not be forced to endure trials beyond what they are capable of enduring:
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. " (1 Corinthians 10:13)
So, whatever challenges may face a believer, whether he is a baby just born again or an elder who has known Him who is from the beginning, God provides a way to overcome every temptation, to escape through every strait and straitened situation, through His Son Jesus Christ:
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (Jon 14:6)
