Battle in the Alabama 6th Congressional District

The Establishment Republican Congressman Spencer Bachus of Birmingham, Alabama is on the ropes in the upcoming primary, and so he should be.

A Washington insider who puts the "insider" in "insider trading", Bachus has developed a penchant for the way things lean in Washington: to the left of center, and far left for the voters of Alabama. There is no worse reputation that a legislature can be saddled with than being lumped with the Congressional shenanigans of screaming, demeaning Welfare Queen Maxine Waters (D-California).

Does this country really need any more politicians who promise to abide by self-imposed term limits, only to renege and pillage the public coffers with taxpayer-financed perks?

State Senator Scott Beason has helped Alabama get back to work, rather than fluffing his own interests. The author of the controversial yet conservative and respectable immigration law in Alabama, Beason has demonstrated a healthy respect for the Constitution, his state, and the citizens of the entire country.

I would vote for him without reservations. He deserves to win the primary and represent the Cotton State in Washington D.C.
