Magadonians v. Kamaladonians in "Random Lengths News"

James Preston Allen mocks MAGA Republicans for deifying “the orange man as some kind of savior of fundamentalist beliefs.”

I agree: there is too much Magadonia worship. Trump is no Savior.

No President can be a savior in any sense.

And yet, Allen gives Kamala Harris the same kind of mythic, divine treatment, when he compares the former California AG to the mythic figures in Delacroix’s painting Liberty Leading the People and the Statue of Liberty itself.

Allen places in Harris all his hopes and dreams of “leading American patriots against the threat of Trumpian tyranny.” I that is not hero worship, then what is?

Also, the cartoon smearing JD Vance as some kind of silver spoon-fed billionaire is a total lie. He was born dirt-poor in Ohio, very much a working-class Appalachian kid of the hills, a true Hillbilly, according to his autobiography.

Since when is it wrong for someone born in poverty to emerge out of his dire straits to become a strong, successful, and grateful citizen?

JD Vance worked his way into success and prominence. Kamala Harris slept her way to the top, starting with her boy-toy Willie Brown, then pandered to the most radical, left-wing elements in San Francisco, then California to get elected to higher office.

Does anyone see the supreme irony in Kamaladonians like Allen putting his hopes in an un-elected presidential candidate, one forced on us following Nancy Pelosi’s machinations, as the Savior of Democracy? Oh, the significance of the passage of time!

Port of Los Angeles High School Teacher: Communist Radical Rachel Bruhnke

My previous posts exposing bad teachers in Torrance Unified have yielded some interesting responses.

A number or people are quite grateful that I am exposing those indoctrination agents in our midst. I also received some nasty emails from people who think that communistic hate groups like Black Lives Matter and cultural Marxist LGBT ideologies should be celebrated and treasured.

I am undeterred. There are so many people who want to speak out, but they are afraid to. They are afraid of cancel culture. They are afraid to be defamed on social media or in the public square. They do not want someone to say their names

And here's info on yet another teacher, this time in San Pedro, CA: Rachel Bruhnke.

I received this tip last week:

Arthur, there is a teacher at CSULB who is a devout communist.   She lives in San Pedro and she holds communist, pro Castro rallies (when Castro was alive) at a local coffee shop in pedro, and now holds “peace rallies” during Los Angeles harbor fleet week and calls all the navel men and women fascists and baby killers.  She makes a point of influencing young people, high school kids, and has teenagers speak at her rallies.  God knows what she does in private (and masked).

I don’t think this woman is evil or wishes harm upon anyone (although some of her group certainly do wish harm, one in particular called for the assassination of Donald Trump). I do want her to stop indoctrinating young people and college students.

As you may know, Project Veritas has uncovered a communist teacher, Gabriel Gipe, in Sacramento and has gotten that teacher fired.  If you are unaware of this recent event, I advise you to check it out on YouTube, there are tons of undercover videos etc. and a really great hour long school board meeting with parents screaming at the school board to get communists out of public education.

I wish to be an anonymous whistle blower in this case.

All I want to do is send her a message— CEASE AND DECIST and a link to the Project Veritas video of the teacher getting fired.

You are a well known conservative activist and are in a better position to call this woman out.  I do not want to get Project Veritas involved, at least not yet.  I believe that the threat will be enough.

A private message and a link the the Project Veritas video could be sent via Twitter or via facebook messenger.  I have no wish to “out” this woman as a Communist on her Twitter or Facebook.

If you are willing to do this, let me know and I will send you her information.

I found the recent Sacramento parent school board meeting inspiring and a good sign that regular folks are getting wise to all this Communist propaganda and CRT bullshit.  Let’s strike now while the iron is hot!

I told this contact that I was more than happy to oblige, but I had to explain to him that I needed to make this information public. Quietly telling rabid communists to stop screaming and yelling their Marxist ideologies in the streets on social media is not going to work. The commitment to this violent madness requires stern confrontation.

He understood, and here is some of the information that the contact sent me:

Here's her Facebook page:

She shared this image in a group called Cold War Truth Commission:

No one should sweep under the rug that the American government has done some really bad things, but it's wrong to say that the American nation and the country is all bought into this.

And the notion that the United States should never have taken a stand against global, tyrannical communism? That is nothing short of outrageous--and yet that is Bruhkne's position.

Here's what else she has posted on her Facebook page regarding America's fight in the Cold War:

Indeed, Bruhnke is a full-on, card-carrying Communist!

Check out some of her posts on social media here:

First, she shared an actually eulogy for brutal communist dictator Fidel Castro:

This is so offensive! I cannot believe that anyone would eulogize a blood-thirsty hypocrite and tyranny like Fidel Castro.

Reminder: this woman is a teacher in the classroom!

Here's another tweet:

What does she specifically want to renounce about President Ronald Reagan? That he opposed communism:

According to communists like Bruhnke, those who fought against the Soviet Union were the bad guys. Really. The Soviet Union, North Korea, Cuba, and now Venezuela, they are all the good guys, doing good things for their people (rationing, sanctions, massive arrests, beatings in the streets, rampant corruption and poverty), and all the Western countries that speak up for freedom of speech, commerce etc. are somehow the bad guys. Really.

Again, I wonder how many Soviet refusniks, Venezuelan refugees, Cuban immigrants, and North Korean defectors would agree with Brunke's take on communism?

She actually wrote that China (the Chinese Communist Party) is our friend!

I wonder how the Muslim Uighurs feel about "Friendly China"?

She is clearly a champagne socialist, especially because she has the audacity to claim that Cuba is a well-run country, a perfect model of communism, all while living in one of the richest sections of Los Angeles County (and she went to Mira Costa High School, in the uber wealthy city of Manhattan Beach, CA):

If she is such a fan of Cuba, why not live there?

If Cuba is such a great country, why are so many people fleeing that country to live in the United States?!

She currently works at Port of Los Angeles High School, too. Remember what my contact shared with me:

She makes a point of influencing young people, high school kids, and has teenagers speak at her rallies.  God knows what she does in private (and masked).

You can send her an email here

Contact information for the high school's Board of Trustees:

Also Contact the Port of Los Angeles Executive Director:

We need answers, and we need teachers like Bruhnke to stop pushing their Marxist, Communist bigotry in the classroom!

The Whale and Ale, San Pedro (Photos)

Last night, a friend of mine invited me to dine with him at the Whale and Ale Pub in San Pedro.

I had read so much about the place, but never had a chance to go until yesterday.

It's a really neat little restaurant! I almost missed it when driving up 7th street in Downtown San Pedro.

The owner, Andrew Silber, brings his British background and European gourmandise to this port town in Los Angeles.

And it's a great place!

Check out the artwork, the posters, and the awards he has received from elected officials over the past twenty years.

Open-Borders Barragan Shuts Down Town Hall After Shutting out Trump Supporters

Congresswoman Nanette Barragan (D-San Pedro, South Gate) hosted her second town hall in Carson. I was planning on attending her first town hall in Compton, but time and resources did not make it possible.

The second town hall was hosted at Stephen White Middle School in Carson.

Here's the entire video:

Rep. Barragan is developing a reputation for fighting the Trump presidency every step of the way.

Check out the video she produced attacking President Trump:

Notice how she refers to illegal aliens as "immigrants".

Such disregard for facts and history is shameful and slanderous.

Unacceptable.

Then she referred to his campaign with "disgust":

What's worse, she told the Secretary of Homeland Security to stop enforcing immigration laws in California. Already she is undermining her oath of office to uphold the United States Constitution. She also hosted a town hall/immigration forum to teach illegal aliens how to avoid capture and deportation. Unreal.

She also claimed that lots of people in California speak Spanish. That's not true. In fact, such remarks are discriminatory and offensive. Even disgusting, and reckless!

When we attended the town hall, We the Poeple Rising, LA County for Trump, the Red Elephants, we found the well of the auditorium was lightly attended.

I saw former Mayor and former City Clerk Jim Dear, the new Mayor Alberto Robles. Other current and former city council members.

She was late, too! Talk about rude.

She engaged in a lot of dilatory tactics throughout the initial part of her town hall, located in the main auditorium on campus.

Within five minutes of the event starting, Barragan was troubled. Why? Because she saw a sea of these flyers:

Raul Rodriguez of We the People Rising asked Barragan twice to lead the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. Twice she refused. So we did it on our own!

When she first mentioned President Trump, we all cheered.

We then started shouting at Barragan for her routinely disrespectful and fraudulent remarks about Trump. "You better respect our President!" San Pedro constituent Dean Cilva shouted out.

Other members, many of whom were Democratic supporters of Barragan, were angry and frustrated.

It's a funny thing, though--Democrats and left-wing SJWs have been invading Republican town halls and taking over, but when Republicans and Trump supporters voice concerted outrage at liberal lawmakers undermining their oaths of office, they get angry.

Such hypocrisy!

For the next hour, members of the audienced on both sides wanted uiet. I was willing to work with some of the audience, but Barragan lied about Trump's proposed budget.

Members of our team were furious that she would host a town hall for illegal aliens in Wilmington, CA--and she hosted that treasonous meeting in the church where I was baptized!

Constituents in her district refused to be silent, and those of who support Trump are getting tired of the lies about the President, as well as the chronic promotion of illegal immigration at the expense of law-abiding citizens. "Respect our President! Respect our President!"

When it became clear that Barragan was not going to quell our upset, she opted to move the town hall to another venue on campus. The rest of us followed her.

When we came to the door, we found two sheriff's deputies standing in the way preventing us from entering.

OUTRAGEOUS!

It's a town hall, Nanette! What? You can't handle men and women who disagree with your offensive, anti-American, unconstitutional views?!

One member of the team made it into the meeting, and he opened the fire doors on the side. I was able to enter the meeting, but within two seconds the sheriff's deputies told me to leave. I refused.

For the next 20 minutes, people outside of the town hall began shouting "Let Us In!" One person pounded the door at the front of the auditorium, demanding the right to enter and push our petition for a redress of grievances.

What do you think of that? Barragan does not support the border wall, but has no problem with blocking constituents from entering her own town hall? More hypocrisy!

Finally, the Congresswoman could not overcome the commotion she instigated by condemning and dishonoring President Trump:

Here are a few scenes which followed after Barragan shut down her meeting:

and here:

Conservatives in the state of California will not settle for any further disresepect to our President and our Constitution.

The arrogant lawless is getting confronted on every level. An elected official refuses to lead the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance? Really?!

She thinks it's OK to upend our immigration laws in the name of social justice? This woman cannot play fast and loose with our laws. Let's hope that Cousin NoNo got the message and stops pushing for amnesty and open borders!

Anti-Trump Racist Isadore Hall Loses Bid for Congress

Election 2016 was a wave of major wins all over the country. Republicans won the White House, they held onto the US Senate and the House.

The won governorships in blue havens like New Hampshire (which is now one of the reddest states in New England at the state level because of unparalleled legislative victories.

What a sad turn of events the county of Los Angeles has become. Overrun by leftists, illegal aliens, panderers who want more open borders, tax hikes, and Big Labor giveaways. Perhaps Los Angeles needs to go the way of Detroit, go bust, and everyone just walk away from the pile of rubble and smoke.

The Democrat v. Democrat contests have become the norm in Los Angeles County. Liberalism and cronyism, which is liberalism's final end have become the norm.

Interestingly enough, there is one race which had a slight bright side to it.

Congressional District 44.

Isadore Hall was the Democratic favorite to win the 44th Congressional District. He was the Democratic establishment machine pick. The alcohol industry put their money behind him, along with the business interests.

Some politicos in the region labeled him a moderate Democrat. Other interests looked

He served in the state assembly, and then jumped into the state senate seat as soon as Aunt Janice announced that she was running for LA County Board of Supervisors.

The machine daisy chain was all too easy to identify.

Aunt Janice runs for Board of Supervisors.

Uncle Izzy (who had just been elected to State Senate in a special election in 2014) would run for Congress.

Then Cousin Steve Bradford would run for the state senate district vacated by Isadore Hall.

This neo-dynastic politics is just sickening.

We the People Rising confronted Isadore Hall on his lack of service for the black community for example:

We the People Rising called on Senator Hall because he released a resolution to denounce Donald Trump as racist, and to have all business contacts with the businessman turned Presidential candidate (and now President!).

Check out his statements here.

This action is immoral and unconstitutional.

When he finished first in the June primary, Hall was immediately served with legal papers.

He has a record of arrogance, including his unsound attacks on Second Amendment supporters:

He was supposed to be the anointed candidate.

But as long as his progressive challenger Nanette Barragan could paint him as for sale, with no principles, she had the slight edge.

She just barely made it during the General Election.

Honestly, I was surprised that a carpet-bagger from Hermosa Beach could knock out a well-oiled machine politico like Hall.

The demographics in the district most likely signal why Barragan carried the day. Hispanic communities are far more dominant in the region now, even in Compton.

She also had the support of the major newspapers, including The Daily Breeze and The Los Angeles Times.

This man has sat on the Compton School Board, then went to the state assembly, then pushed hard against Steve Bradford (who had recently turned out the same year), would end up losing to a one-tie city councilwoman in a wealthy Beach City whose claim to fame was banning plastic bags in Hermosa Beach.

But there is one clear consolation:

Donald Trump won the Presidential election--and Hall is out of a job!

A Republican Dilemma: Furutani or Bradford?

In the Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale regions of the South Bay, Republicans face a daunting dilemma.

Their state senate district, SD-35, draws up along the Alameda Corridor, from San Pedro to South Los Angeles. Compton and Carson round out the eastern section of the district.

Indeed, the district is heavily Democratic.

For Election 2016, the voters faced three Democrats and one Republican in the primary.

Now they have two choose between two liberal Democrats for state senate:

Warren Furutani or Steve Bradford.

What has happened to this region? Shouldn't voters get a real choice? Instead, it's Left and More Left.

This is not good.

So, what is to be done?

Steve Bradford is the machine pick. Furutani is the outsider ... of sorts. He has served on the Community College Board, the Los Angeles Unified Board of Education, and in the State Assembly.

Bradford sat on the Gardena City Council. He loves to tout that he was the first African-American elected to the Gardena City Council.

He also got into a fight with an ice cream truck driver.

Is this the kind of insanity that we need in Sacramento?

Bradford has also promoted redistribution of wealth on a number of flyers.

You can be sure that Bradford will be jumping for another office very soon.

When Maxine Waters retires--or dies in office--Bradford will be one of the candidates lining up to take her place in Washington DC. After all, that's what Isadore Hall did as soon as Janice Hahn announced that she was retiring from Congress (where she has to tolerate sitting in the minority).

So, what do you do?

If I lived in the district, I am not sure I would vote for either candidate.

They are just too liberal for me. They want to take people's guns away. They want to tax and spend  more of our money to redistribute to hard-core depends and create a generational funnel of votes to stay in power.

For all the Democratic dominance in the region, what do the residents of these communities have to show for their representatives' efforts?

This issue of constituent service is the dividing line for many prospective voters.

Elected officials in the region, and political pundits who follow the currents, say that Furutani is the slightly better choice than Bradford.

After all, the former Gardena Democrat has all the machine money behind. He does not need to network with voters in order to elections. Big Labor can roll out big money and hand him the seat.

Or at least that is what he thinks.

Lest I forget to mention ... Furutani represented Gardena in the state assembly, too.

Warren Furutani
More of a man of the people

He is the more "progressive" Democrat, the liberal without stops who will do everything in his power to ensure that the trees are protected, no matter what the cost. He is more like the Tea Party of the Left, principled, an ideologue in the mold of Barack Obama.

Steve Bradford is the Hillary Clinton candidate: all about the money, all about the power, all about himself.

And a lot of people do not like the man. Some officials have recounted to me the disrespect which they endured because of this man's selfish behavior. For now, I am merely recounting what they had shared with me.

I can say however, that I witnessed Bradford, a guess at one Democratic club meeting, spend a lot of time talking and taking the attention away from the invited guest speakers. Such behavior is unacceptable.

Among Democratic lawmakers, those motivated by principle, progressivism, or personal slights have lined up behind Furutani.

If I were a Democrat, I would choose principle over moneyed power at any time.

The Japanese-American--educator as well as elected official--is more personable in general.

Voters and elected officials tell me that Furutani would answer their phone calls.

Furutani also attends public events. I saw him at the hearings focused on the Torrance Refinery. He also attended the swearing-in of new elected officials in Hawthorne, California following the November 2015 Elections.

He shows up to things. He answers people's phone calls. He is willing to talk to people.

If those issues matter to you, and you want to stop the Democratic political machine in its tracks, vote for Warren Furutani for State Senate.

This post does not serve as an overt endorsement, but rather a settlement of issues and values for anyone interested to determine their vote on November 8th.

Where Were the Second Amendment Advocates at Aunt Janice's Sit-In?

Congresswoman Janice Hahn is running.

She runs for office.

Run, Janice, Run.

Fundraise, Janice, Fundraise!

She runs away from one set of responsibilities to another.

She runs her mouth off to sound as if she cares.

She runs to the cameras.

She runs for the spotlight.

Run, Janice, Run!

She runs away from constituents who have serious questions about issues facing this country.

She decided to run a sit-in at the Port of Los Angeles High School.

See Janice Fundraise.

Fundraise, Janice, fundraise.

The whole gun-control sit-in was a media, publicity, upstart fraud.

Shameful from beginning to end.

Congressman Tom McClintock blasted the House minority for wasting time and money, as well as silencing the representatives from all over the country.

That was wrong. Shame on the gun-grabbing Democrats.

All of them.

One more reflection comes to mind about the gun-control sit-in that wasn't.

Where were the advocates for the Second Amendment?

Where were the representatives from the National Rifle Association, or from other firearms community groups?

One NRA representative told me that they usually do not attend such events because the media spins their appearance and makes them look bad.

You know what? The left-wing press is going to any lengths to report information friendly to its regressive interests.

It's time to confront and exploit the media, force them to cover the truth, or at least to hear our side, even if they do not want to.

I attend the gun-control sitzkrieg, and I made it on the news. So did another Second Amendment advocate. We made a difference.

People all over the region contacted me that they saw me speak.

The firearms communities which want to defend the Second Amendment should not be gun-shy about attending those events.

How else do Second Amendment supporters intend to change minds, if they won't meet with them?

Conservatives need to reach out to communities where people have not heard the message or seen the principles work in their favor.

Let's go out there and  make our case with all guns blazing!

Aunt Janice and Gun-Grabbing Grand Theft Auto Cicilline

So, Rhode Islanders. How are you?

Awful? Or Awful Awful?

(Sorry, I couldn’t resist)

The Dancing Cop from Providence turned into the Rhode Island Dancing Cop.

And now he’s the retiring cop. Who says there’s no justice in the world?

I have been busy fighting the forces of evil here in California.

Rhode Island and California, still two states in a very bad state.

Locally, we are enjoying some real victories, though.

Good, solid conservatives won some key local races here in Torrance, California. My assemblyman got a school choice bill passed in deep blue, union-dominated one Golden State.

At least Congressional Democrats have been relegated to the minority for three election cycles in a row.

Their chances in 2016 hinge on their Presidential candidate, and how unmotivated the party faithful will be.

Even so, I doubt that they will win the majority. We still have our crazies. Governor Moonbeam here, and Gina Raimondo over there.

And now meet Congresswoman Janice Hahn (D-San Pedro). She plays nice with small businesses, but she really likes to do what the labor unions order her to do.

See Janice Run. She runs to the cameras. She likes to be liked.

See Janice fundraise. Fundraise, Janice, fundraise!

And she is running for her Daddy’s old job, as a member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

She needs free publicity, so she sat down with her lazy Democratic colleagues on the floor of the House of Representatives for twenty-five hours. Most of her California colleagues rushed to the floor, too especially the ones in swing districts where they still have to fight off challengers cycle after cycle.

Now, what does this have to do with you, Rhode Islanders?

Who has been a faithful crony in illiberal lunacy?

Who was there sitting on the floor of the House of Representatives, agitating to take away more people’s firearms? Getting all the good poses?

The one and only "Grand Theft Auto" David Cicilline.

Ugh. Someone please make him an offer he can’t refuse.

When will people get a clue?

Their temper tantrum violates rules of decorum. They ignore the rule of law, the Bill of Rights, and due process. They also broke out every social media tool to play up their #PoliticalLivesMatter activism. Of course, the vain-scream media, subservient to the statist cause, reported every tweet, Facebook post, and text message from Congressional representatives to the world at large.

Did we forget to mention that the Democrats, hiding behind Civil Rights icon John Lewis, were violating the due process of every citizen in the country? If the Democrats want more votes on their bills, then they need to win more seats. But as long as the left-flank has taken over their party, and the ideological twin Nancy Pelosi serves as minority leader for a diminished house caucus, their numbers won’t be growing anytime soon.

I had to look at this guy (with his best friend Janice Hahn) on TV taking up space, playing for the camera, showing everyone that he cares so much about us little people, that they want to take our guns away.
OK, fine, the Democratic caucus simply wanted an up-or-down vote on two bills:

1. If you are on the no-fly terrorist list, you should not be able to purchase a firearm.

2. Universal background checks, even at gun-shows.

Aunt Janice with David Cicilline

Let’s analyze these proposals. The first one is so gravely flawed, that even the American Civil Liberties Union opposes it. Remember, they’re the wacky left-win outfit which will fight for a criminal’s right to be free rather than the rights for everyone else to be safe. Innocent civilians have ended up on this list. Even Northern California’s conservative Congressman Tom McClintock could not board a flight because he shared the same name as a black-listed Irish domestic terrorist. One woman waited eight years to clear her name from the No-Fly List.

As for background checks: every major gun massacre was perpetrated by a licenses firearms owner. Good luck finding a gun-show where they run a gun under the table. Check out this video for proof positive in one of the reddest, most gun-friendly states in the union.

These Democrats will never stop until every firearm is confiscated and the state stands alone with the power to fight back.

This culture war is real, serious, and relentless.

The Orlando, Florida shootings offered another crisis for the Democrats not to put to waste. Instead, they wasted their time. I told Rep. Janice Hahn that much at her mock gun-control sit-in at a local high school. Lots of tears, lots of wailing mothers who will never see their dead relatives again.
(I feel for them. That’s why I support expansion of concealed carry permits.)

Hahn replayed the Rep. Lewis’ wavering, Gospel-like speech at the dais. Viewers can see Hahn and Cicilline pushing aside their colleagues so they can figure in the front row. During public comment, I mentioned that when civil rights activists held sit-ins in the past, they were fighting for people’s rights not to take them away.

Martin Luther King Jr. owned a firearms. The first members of the National Rifle Association were African-Americans, to protect themselves from the Ku Klux Klan.

Another question I neglected to ask: why would Lewis want to sit next to Janice Hahn? David Cicilline?
As mayor of Providence, the city was less safe, crime rates went up, and corruption was just as crappy as before. When he’s not pushing LGBT “rights” down other people’s throats, he loves to talk up gun control.

Why would John Lewis tarnish his Civil Rights credentials with gun-control?

What is it with these “progressives”?

I wish that more people would understood what was at stake with this “sit-in”. Gun control cannot, will not stop gun crimes, or the haphazard gun violence in our society.

More guns for law-abiding residents, with proper discretion to stop Islamic terrorism and the mentally ill. And if anyone has a problem with that, they can SIT ON IT!

Retired ILWU, Harbor Commish Dave Arian Loses Control at Aunt Janice's Gun-Control Sit-In

At the end of Aunt Janice's gun control sit-in that wasn't, I decided to wait in line with a bunch of other constituents as well as supporters of the Congresswoman.

I recorded the whole event, as I waited in line and listened to Aunt Janice schmooze and make nice with all her prospective voters.

Of course, as predicted, when it was about to be my turn to speak to her, the handlers took her to the side, and one of them got in my way.

I could not believe that they would pull this. How brazen and shameful at the same time. If you are a politician, you need to get used to being in front of the camera.

You need to get used to people who do not agree with you getting tough and asking hard questions, or telling you to your face: "You are wrong!"

Aunt Janice can't handle that. She has been one of the majority of Democrats in nearly every legislative body she has been elected to.

She was one of thirteen Democrats on the Los Angeles City Council.

Then she comes to Congress, after walking all over Laura Richardson in the 44th, then dispensing with another minority party candidate in the 2014 election.

Now she wants to leave Congress because she cannot get out of the current Democratic minority status. She wants to be one of four left-wing Democrats on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

Ugh!

But she can't handle one constituent with a camera.

So, the handlers swirl her away from me ..,

Then out of nowhere, the angry Dave Arian, the former head of Local 13, gets in my face and snatches my phone out of my hands.

Check out the video here.

So, Dave Arian grabs my phone ...

Dave Arian, LA Harbor Commissioner

What gives him the idea that he is somehow about the law?!

Shameful and disgraceful.

Someone needs to contact the Harbor Commission, and tell them that they are not above the law!

Call Dave Arian and tell him to start respecting the First Amendment for all residents!

Protest Janice Hahn's Gun-Grabbing Media Stunt

Aunt Janice is at it again,

The woman has no integrity, not ingenuity, and no capacity to stand up for issues that matter to voting people, to the San Pedrans whom she claimed to represent for years.

Hahn is more than social climber, she is a political mountaineer with no regard for those she steps on while on her way to the top.

After three terms in Congress, where the process is "broken" -- because she is in the minority party where she belongs, she is running back to Los Angeles to sit on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

This past week, she further demonstrated her irrelevance by sitting on the floor of the House of Representatives to protest gun violence, and demand a floor vote on the gun bill.

Guns for me, but not for thee!

So, instead of fighting against terrorism, or tackling the insurmountable national debt, or repealing Obamacare, or expanding individual worker opportunities ...

Aunt Janice sat on her ass and did nothing for nearly an entire day.

The elitist, arrogant hypocrisy gets worse. Dozens of the same House reps own guns themselves, or they rely on armed security.

Of course, this was no real sit-in. They were not protesting for their rights, as much as they were fighting to take away yours and mine.

They were not the hard-core advocates that the media tries to play them up to be, either.

Along with the rest of her illiberal caucus, Aunt Janice got something to eat, catering brought Chik-Fil-A brought some goodies. I wonder what the the LGBT caucus thought of this rank hypocrisy!

Here's more information about what she is proposing to do this Monday.

From the Daily Breeze about Congresswoman Janice Hahn:

Democratic Rep. Janice Hahn will bring a taste of the recent House sit-in over gun control to her district on Monday.

Hahn, D-San Pedro, will be joined by local community members at a sit-in from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at Port of Los Angeles High School, 250 W. Fifth St., San Pedro.

The 25-hour sit-in on the floor of the House of Representations was held to demand passage of stricter gun laws in the wake of the Orlando terrorist massacre.

Now she wants to expand her laziness to San Pedro, again.

Doesn't she know that San Pedrans are the scrappiest bunch in the South Bay?

Union members, Democrats, gun-owners by and large love their firearms--because they love their rights, chief of which is the right to self-preservation.

Stop the Second Amendment Hate, Aunt Janice!

I urge every South Bay citizen, countryman, and particularly every Second Amendment advocate to join Aunt Janice at her gun-grab sit-in, and tell her to SIT ON IT!

Weekend at Bernie's Immoral Economy

As I was reading last Sunday's front page cover of the Torrance, CA The Daily Breeze, I found the same anti-capitalist canard which has propelled demagogues and statists from generation to generation.

"We need a moral economy!" blazed the headline, with Bernie Sanders standing in front of a podium, with "A Future to Believe In" posted across the front.

The crowds in front and back were waving the same sign.  "Hope and Change" did not turn out for these voters, and that's why they have surrounded

Bernie Sanders thinks that the current state of the economy is "immoral."

Why?

Individuals are working a forty-hour week, and they cannot live on that salary.

Why have so many people lost their jobs? Why is economic recovery so slight? Why have prices for basic goods risen so high?

People cannot afford quality health care. Fewer doctors and greater demand has pushed up the cost of health insurance, too.

Yes, so much costs so much more, and yet so few seem able to pay for it, whether with a lot of a little.

He's right. We do not have a moral economy right now, but not for the reasons he proffers.

The very remedy he proposes will exacerbate the problems. Bernie Sanders is pushing a double-down socialist agenda: not an economy of sharing and caring, but an economy of taking and redistributing.

More government creates more inequity. More intervention by the state creates more inequality.

Why is the economy struggling for many, then, and a boon for the few?

Because the few have taken over considerable leverage--the levers of power in state legislatures as well as the federal government. The lobbyists on K Street manipulate the rules they write to their advantage, and Main Street pays the price.

More people are the poorer, and Sanders wants to shower more government "benefits" on them. Bernie wants to bless the populace with the same had that slapped them then stole from them! How is it moral, that men and women who do nothing demand that those who work pay for their sloth?

This indictment just as eually applies to corporations, both their easy subsidies and welfare bailouts.

If men and women will not work, then they should not eat.

Problem solved.

What does Sanders propose?

Socialism, or legalized theft writ large.

Its consequences are destructive.

Yet today, we have a nation filled with spoiled miscreants who have been taught envy and grievance as a way of life.

San Pedro, California is a heavily-influenced union town.

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union membership swarmed the Port of Los Angeles, and they wanted everyone to see how hard they would work to make Bernie Sanders the next President of the United States (if he lives long enough to make it)

Labor unions have crystallized unfairness into an awesome, awful whole.

Members are forced to join. This is collectivism.

Members are forced to pay due. This is theft.

Members are forced to subsidize the dissemination of opinions which they oppose, which they find repugnant, even contradictory to their best interests. This is tyranny.

One key player in the rigged economy? Labor unions.

Lo and Behold, Bernie Sanders playing to his base.

Now let's talk about all those big bad nasty millionaires and billionaires.

If wealthy people are buying up influence in the corridors of power to enrich themselves at the expense of the rest of us, then that is indeed immoral.

But the problem is not the wealth. The problem is the influence peddling.

There is nothing wrong with being rich. Widespread poverty is just as "equal".

Bernie Sanders wants to steal from the rich to give to the poor, or more importantly the politically connected. He is no Robin Hood, since the medieval legend actually stole from the politically connected to give back to individual peasants. Robin Hood was in the business or restoration.

Bernie Sanders is in the business of rapacity.

If people want a moral economy, then we need to seek a free one.

We need to see less of the state--with its insiders--picking winners and losers. No more taxpayer-funded bailouts for Wall Street, yes indeed.

But no bailouts for labor unions, either.

An economy based on trade and trust, not fear and force, will ensure the moral economy we wall want to see.

A moral economy is the free market, where supply and demand determine winners and losers, and where losers can learn, reinvest, and become winners.

Martha Flores-Gibson for State Assembly--WRITE-IN!!

Assembly District 70 seemed like a lost cause.

Anti-Education reform Patrick O'Donnell has shut down every reasonable bill intended to improve public education in California.

Currently, the California Teachers Association and the lesser union co-ops up and down the state want nothing to do with school choice, merit pay, better testing, or just about any other measure to improve the deplorable state of education in the one-Golden State.

Election 2016 seemed certain to hand O'Donnell an easy win, since none of his challengers gathered enough signatures to got on the ballot.

Martha Flores-Gibson of Long Beach is out to change that.

She ran for Assembly District 70 (nestled on Long Beach with San Pedro and Signal Hill) in 2012.

She has a decent name ID, and she is willing to step up and make sure that O'Donnell has to fight to retain his seat.

Martha Flores-Gibson
National Christian conservative activist and commentator Craig Huey issued the following eblast for Martha:

Election 2016 is a critical year.

We cannot allow one assembly seat in the state of California to go unchallenged.

Currently, the only name that will appear on the June 7th ballot for voters in Assembly District  70 (San Pedro, Long Beach) is Patrick O’Donnell.

I encourage you to write in the name of a good friend of mine:
