New Hampshire MassResistance Stops Drag Queen Story Hour!

New Hampshire MassResistance parents stop Drag Queen show scheduled for local library

Library Board, Town Board, and Library Director all tried to subvert opposition, but the citizens won.

LGBT group backed off when the library was finally forced to follow its own rules.

October 23, 2023
ALT TEXT The LGBT movement is targeting children everywhere - even in rural New Hampshire.

When MassResistance organized a group of parents, they were able to stop a “Drag Story Hour” from coming to their library – despite roadblocks from the Library Board, Board of Selectmen, and adult LGBT activists.

‘Drag Story Hour’ coming to Lancaster, NH

Lancaster is a quiet, remote town in northern New Hampshire with a population of about 3,200. But like most of America, its public library hasn’t been spared the LGBT movement’s obsession with normalizing homosexuality and transgenderism to young children.

Back in early May, a few parents in Lancaster reached out to MassResistance. People had been noticing sexually explicit LGBT books for children (such as Gender Queer and All Boys Aren’t Blue) in their local Weeks Memorial Library. That was shocking enough.

ALT TEXT The Weeks Memorial Library in Lancaster, NH. It's not the kind of place where you'd expect a Drag show for children to be scheduled.

But then they discovered that a “Drag Story Hour” was scheduled to take place in the library in just a few weeks, on June 11, 2023. The event was organized by an adult LGBT group called “White Mountains Pride.” The Drag Queens (grown men dressed as a grotesque imitation of glamorous women) read LGBT books to children. The White Mountains Pride group was very clear about their purpose, which was to normalize deviant behaviors in the children’s young minds and so affect them all their lives:

DHS [Drag Story Hour] captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.

ALT TEXT

Also, this hideous library event was to be on a Sunday, when the library is normally closed. This would result in expenses, including staffing, security, lighting, etc. How would these expenses be funded? According to library policy, the room is provided at no charge to non-profit groups. Would local tax dollars be used?

ALT TEXT Emoji Nightmare (in green dress), one of the Drag Queens scheduled to come, posted this photo on his website taken at another event for children.

This shouldn’t happen at all, the parents said. They were very distraught and did not know what to do to stop it.

MassResistance comes to their help!

MassResistance immediately jumped in to assist them. We helped them put together and distribute a flyer to alert and educate the community. That brought in lots of local people. We helped them organize and gave them a strategy.

One of the parents asked the Library Director about this event and the special Sunday opening for it. Her response was that she “did not want this to happen” but was being forced to or the town would be sued by the ACLU. But when asked for a letter or other threat of a lawsuit, she could not produce anything. This was particularly annoying, since the Library Director was ultimately responsible for placing the pornographic books in the children’s section of the library. So she was probably just parroting the American Library Association’s pro-LGBT talking points.

Making their case at the Library Trustees meeting

The parents made plans to have a group attend the upcoming Library Trustees meeting on May 8. Prior to the meeting, they sent strongly-worded emails to the Trustees describing the problems that they saw with the library holding this depraved event, requesting a list of the books to be read, and asking that the event not be allowed.

Tensions were rising in the community over this. A dozen parents attended the May 8 Library Trustee meeting. When they arrived, there were two police officers present to “keep them in line.”

At the start of the meeting, the Chairman immediately made a statement about the event. He told the parents:

  1. The library is not sponsoring the event. It is renting the room to White Mountains Pride, a local non-profit organization.
  2. The books read to kids by the Drag Queens will be from the library’s collection.
  3. It is purposefully being held on a Sunday to make sure it doesn’t interfere with the library’s normal operations.
  4. White Mountains Pride has specified a rule that an adult must be accompanied by a child and no child may attend without a parent.
  5. The programs in the library are the responsibility of the Library Director, not the Trustees. The Library Trustees only have general oversight of the budget, building, etc.
  6. The library has a policy of non-discrimination.

The Chairman meticulously avoided talking about the depraved content. He only referred to it as “the event,” though he claimed that he could not intervene because that would constitute “discrimination.”

Arrogant officials cut off the testimony. After the Chairman’s statement, there was testimony from the public. All the testimony was in opposition to the event.

Would the event be open to the public? During the testimony a few of the parents mentioned that the library's bylaws state that all events in the library are “open to the public.” This conflicted with the White Mountains Pride’s stipulation that its event is only open to adults accompanied by a child.

After 30 minutes, the Chairman became frustrated and stated that “the comments have become repetitive” and called for recess.

After the recess the Trustees came back and announced that the topic was closed, even though several more people were waiting to speak.

The Trustee Board stated that they would have their town attorney review whether the event would be open to the public. But it seemed obvious that the bylaws were very clear about that.

But besides that statement, the Library Trustees refused to take any action.

Continuing activism by the parents

Filling the event with parents! The MassResistance parents began planning to attend the June 11 Drag Show event, despite the White Mountains Pride's rule (that they must be with a child). They would arrive at the library well over an hour early to fill all the seats. It was obvious that the event had to be open to the public, and that no “attorney review” could change that.

Petition to ban the Drag event. In addition, our activists circulated a petition in Lancaster against the use of Weeks Memorial Library for a Drag event. Within a few weeks the petition obtained over 500 signatures.

On to the Board of Selectmen meeting

The next step was for parents to attend the town’s June 5 Board of Selectmen meeting, taking place just six days before the Drag Show event.

Prior to the meeting, the parents emailed each of the Selectmen (as well as other town officials) a polite but firm statement imploring them to “pressure the Library Trustees” to rescind the permission for the event.

As the parents entered the June 5 meeting, they noticed that three uniformed police officers were prominently seated there. It appeared to be an intimidation tactic. But the parents weren’t about to be intimidated. There was also a group of pro-LGBT activists there, who were also obviously there to intimidate the parents.

ALT TEXT When the parents came into the meeting room there were three police officers waiting for them.

At the beginning of the meeting the petition was presented to the three Lancaster Selectmen. It was hoped that this would demonstrate the strong feelings of the community. But they did not seemed moved at all by it.

When the public comments started, the parents spoke passionately about how this was a depraved and unhealthy event that the community did not want in their library, that it was being given special treatment on a Sunday, and that the Board should at least make a statement about it.

ALT TEXT A citizen explains to the Selectmen that the library is violating its own bylaws if it keeps the public from attending the event - or else the event has to be cancelled.

Then some of the pro-LGBT activists spoke up, using their usual talking points about love, inclusion, non-discrimination, not being narrow-minded, “freedom to read,” etc.

ALT TEXT This leftist repeated usual LGBT slogans of "acknowledging our differences," "treating people with respect," "a small group of people are against it," etc. Of course, she didn't address what this does to children, or ignoring the library rules.

After that, the Chairman of the Board of Selectmen spoke, basically claiming that there was nothing that the Board could do about the situation. They were refusing to take any action or even make a public statement to the Trustees.

ALT TEXT The Chairman of the Board of Selectmen (center) told the parents that there was "nothing" he could do.

The event gets cancelled!

Tension continued to grow after the Board of Selectmen meeting as the MassResistance parents’ plans to fill the event spread across the community. A lot of public officials were clearly becoming rattled.

Then on June 7, four days before the event, the local newspaper published an article stating that White Mountains Pride had cancelled their event!

It stated, "Organizers White Mountains Pride of North Conway called off the event Wednesday at the request of the library staff due to safety concerns.”

ALT TEXT People found out from the local newspaper!

Of course, their stated reason was offensive and possibly even libelous. There were no actual “safety concerns.” Unlike the LGBT movement’s lunatic activists, these opposing parents were always very civil and completely peaceful.

This was a great victory! And since then, the library has not attempted to bring the Drag event back!

Final thoughts

Parents were not intimidated by the phony requirement that children must enter with each adult, since the official policy read, “open to the public.” They also were not intimidated by the Library Director’s phony “ACLU lawsuit” argument or the Trustee Chairman calling it “discrimination.”

When we continue to resist the promotion of lies and take strong action, the Left often backs down.

It was great work by our activists in Lancaster, New Hampshire!

Oregon GOP: Death of a Nation Coming to Beaver State Theaters

In some ways, I feel sorry for Oregon residents.

The state has not had a Republican governor in thirty years. They state has been dominated by Democratic policies for much longer than California.

The illegal immigration is creeping up all over the state, too.

On the other hand, the voters successful repealed drivers licenses for illegal aliens. Another initiative is on the ballot to repeal the sanctuary state laws enacted by Governor Kate Brown--and that law is likely to pass, too.

On top of that, another initiative will cut off medicaid funds for abortions if it passes, too.

Then I get eblasts like this, and these events give me hope that other states along the Left Coast can be great again:

Wisconsin, From Blue State to Red: How and Why

Despite the political "earthquake" which broke out in a state senate election yesterday, Wisconsin has indeed gone from blue to red over the last eight years. The transition during Presidential elections was steady although gradual, starting in Election 2000. Al Gore barely carried Wisconsin that year, and neither major candidate broke the 50% margin.

The state was slowly going closer to a Republican statewide majority until 2008, when Obama won the state by 52% and then won the state a second time. He had offered a fairly populist brand in his first election win, and Romney could not provide a working man's option in 2012, so many working white voters stayed home.

Starting in 2010, Republicans took over major levers of power in the state, then enacted sweeping collective bargaining reforms. These Big Labor blows have protected working Wisconsinites while enhancing business prowess and potential. President Trump's pro-growth, populist agenda has ushered in a renewal of manufacturing and trade jobs, too.

Republicans have done an amazing overhaul in this once stubbornly Democratic state.

The red state no one saw coming

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Dawn Damico had never voted in a presidential election before, never felt sufficiently drawn to a candidate to pledge her political support. Until Tuesday.

The 52-year-old owner of a chocolate shop and grandmother of six said she voted for Donald Trump, helping push a pivotal and traditionally Democratic state into the Republican column and deliver an astounding victory for the GOP nominee.

This dynamic has not gotten enough treatment. People who had never voted before, voted. That change in the voting records made a big shift for Trump, and explains one of the reasons why the press and the pollsters got Election 2016 so wrong.

“Because I think he will be doing different things than the rest of them,” Damico said. “I’m a small-business owner and I’m tired of all the big people complaining about this and that. Let’s see how they would live doing what we do.”

How about that? This small business owner did not look at President Trump as some corporate bigwig who had no idea what she was going through. That's part of Trump's very populist appeal!

Clinton herself never campaigned here during the general election, and Trump deluged the airwaves with television advertising, which may have helped him secure the victory margin of less than 30,000 votes, state political analysts said. And, according to the Wisconsin State Journal, Trump made at least five visits to the state in the final three months of the campaign.
In this state dotted with silos, dairy farms, and Green Bay Packers memorabilia, analysts point to several factors that helped turn Wisconsin from blue to red: the middle-class anxiety felt across the Rust Belt, low enthusiasm among usually reliable Democrats, and the years-long trend line toward electing Republicans in state.

Wisconsin voters felt cared for. Clinton did not care about working people to begin with, and her disdain for revisiting this state assuredly pushed it into the GOP column for the first time in over 30 years.

Pretty impressive, I must say.

Trump carried the state by 1 percentage point, the third-narrowest margin in the country behind New Hampshire, which voted narrowly for Clinton, and Michigan, which also switched from blue to red. It was a remarkable turnaround for Wisconsin, which was almost universally forecast as a Clinton state by pollsters and strategists who missed an undercurrent of Trump support.

Polls are polls, and they often rely on retrospective results rather than prospective possibilities.

“He speaks for the parts of the country that everybody else kind of forgot,” said a 57-year-old landscaper at a bar in Menomonee Falls, who asked not to be named. “I don’t agree with everything he does or says or the people who have lined up with him, but it’s nice to know that someone will not just let this whole thing go away.”

The forgotten men and women of this country no longer felt forgotten.

Wisconsin voters also dealt a surprise defeat to former US senator Russ Feingold, who lost a rematch with incumbent Senator Ron Johnson, despite polls showing Feingold with a healthy lead. That outcome helped Republicans retain control of the Senate, dousing Democratic hopes to retake the chamber they lost two years ago.

Senate incumbent Ron Johnson did not run away from Trump, even when times got tough, and some bad words slipped out of his mouth. I had a strange feeling about this US Senate race, in that I anticipated that he would outshine the polling, which had consistently listed him as behind Feingold. How right I was.

Jeff Mayers, president of WisPolitics.com, a non-partisan political site, said that, despite the vaunted Democratic turnout machine, Clinton’s campaign failed to get backers to the polls.
“The short answer is Democrats didn’t turn out in the numbers they did the last two cycles, and it was the lowest turnout in Wisconsin since 1996,” Mayers said. “Bottom line is, she didn’t inherit the Obama coalition.”

Another reason. Obama's magical coalition relied on his own populist rhetoric. Of course, Obama was a sellout to Wall Street from day one, and Democratic voters across the country felt that pain.

Trump lavished attention and money on Wisconsin. While he was heavily outspentin most swing states, the Center for Public Integrity found that Trump and his allies funded about 60 percent of the roughly 10,000 ads aired here between June 12 and Nov. 6. The onslaught began in September, and Clinton and her backers stayed off the air until Oct. 29.

Yep. The lesson here? Don't take any states for granted. Republicans are learning this lesson again, since they just lost a state senate seat in a reliably red area.

Damico and others said the dissolution of the manufacturing industry and the Democratic Party’s focus on appealing to younger, more diverse Americans had driven middle-class white voters like here to revolt.

YES!

Here's another interesting report from a voter:

“I’m a big Second Amendment guy, and this was important to me,” said a man who identified himself as “Chip.” He said he supported Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in the primary but Trump in the general.

Remember, Bernie Sanders had been a staunch supporter for the Second Amendment during his tenure in the House of Representatives, and his support for gun rights continued and harmed his primary bid somewhat against gun-grabbing Crooked Hillary.

Final Reflection

Politics makes a difference. Voting is crucial. All it takes is one wave election for a shift in a state from one party to another. Colorado Republicans witnessed the same overwhelming takeover in their beloved Colorful State. Democrats have ruined Colorado, bringing in pot, gun control, a naked attempt to impose a single-payer government-run healthcare system.

Conservatives need to understand that politics is a process. Principles do not win at the ballot box because they are good principles. It takes a good, strong political ground game to ensure those wins. Republicans worked extra hard over the entire Walker administration, from his victory in 2010 to the present day. Walker hopes for a third term as governor. Let's hope that Trump-mentum makes it possible, and that Republican and Democratic voters will recognize that GOP leadership ensures a better run state, more money in one's pockets, and a better future for their children and grandchildren.

New Jersey Congressman Did Vote for Tax Reforms

HomeContactServicesMedia
Arthur-
This week, Congress passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It’s been 31 years since the last overhaul of America’s tax code, and American families are finally catching a break. I supported this legislation after studying how it would impact my constituents and negotiating to make it better. Despite all the partisan misinformation and fear-mongering, this bill will absolutely help the overburdened taxpayers in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District.

When I was back in New Jersey last week, I visited with a small business in Burlington County to talk tax reform and to learn about their business. Centryco is a multi-generational, woman-owned manufacturing business with 36 employees. Small businesses like this are the heart of our economy, and their employees will help our economy grow with the real tax relief they will see from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Here are some specifics about what this historic tax reform bill mean for South Jersey:

· More than half of my constituents in south jersey take the standard deduction, which is now being doubled from $12,000 to $24,000 for a family.

· All taxpayers in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District will benefit from my successful fight to include a deduction for property and state income taxes.

· Over 48,000 families in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District currently claim the child tax credit, which will double to $2,000 per child. Plus, many more middle class families will be able to take full advantage of this credit, instead of it phasing out at a lower income as it does today.

· South Jersey families caring for an elderly parent or a child enrolled in college, will get an extra $500 with the creation of the non-child dependent tax credit.

· Seniors and residents with high medical bills will see an expanded medical expense deduction, which I successfully advocated for.

· This bill includes the educator expense deduction that I urged House Leadership to include, giving South Jersey teachers much-deserved tax relief.

· Small businesses will enjoy the lowest tax rate since World War II, which will help Main Street businesses from Toms River to Willingboro.

· Lower tax rates will enable you to keep more of your hard-earned money.

I came to Washington to fight for my constituents and solve the tough problems that impact their lives. During this process, I urged the White House and House Leadership to preserve the deductibility of property and state income taxes, restore the medical expense deduction for seniors and those with high medical costs and protect the educator expense deduction for our dedicated teachers. I didn’t back down from this fight and I’m grateful my colleagues listened and preserved these critical provisions.

The bottom line - this legislation will provide almost everyone with a much needed tax cut and allow you to keep more of your hard-earned money.

Sincerely,

Tom MacArthur

George "El Conservador" Rodriguez Launches Sanctuary City Lawsuit

George Rodriguez of the Civil Liberties Defense Foundation has filed a law suit against his home city of San Antonio, Texas.

Despite the passage of SB 4, the sanctuary city ban signed into law by Governor Greg Abbot, jurisdiction within the state of Texas are still not cooperating with state and federal law.

These outlaw jurisdictions would rather protect illegal aliens, especially criminal illegals, than ensure the domestic tranquility of all law-abiding citizens.

This disrespect for the rule of law is unimaginable, and especially in Texas! These measures show that even in red states, the pressure to comply with federal law has never been stronger, and the politics of race and division are still active and acute among open border zealots and regressive Democrats.

These are problems which cannot change without a fight. Things will not fall into place as they should just because a state is a red state or has a conservative governor at the helm.

Just an FYI.

Who is Running in Election 2018 for Wisconsin's US Senate Seat?

I have received a growing number of eblasts saying "Draft David Clarke for US Senate."

Yes, Milwaukee County Sheriff Clarke is The Man.

He is a hard-core conservative, an ardent defender of the United States Constitution. a law enforcement official who is not afraid to take a stand for the United States and her citizens.

He loves Donald Trump.

More supporters are angling for him to run against Tammy Baldwin, the openly gay liberal Democrat who defeated former Wisconsin Govenror Tommy Thompson in an unexpected political upset in 2012.

Election 2018 should prove to be a very vulnerable year for Democrats. Donald Trump is hitting high approval ratings with Republicans. He is the first Republican to win Wisconsin in a presidential election since 1984.

Scott Walker's epic conservative reforms, especially his targeting the excessive abuses of the public sector unions have ensured a growing political hegemony for the Republican Party in a state once thought completely lost to Republican intentions.

Tammy is in trouble. She does not care about veterans. Her views are so widely out of the mainstream. And her party is a sinking ship which more Democrats are jumping out of.

But would Sheriff Clarke be the ideal candidate to run?

Most people do not realize this, but Clarke is actually a registered Democrat.

Why? Milwaukee County is so heavily Democratic, that a conservative of any susbstance has no viable chance of winning .. unless he registers as a Democrat.

Will Clarke re-register to run? Perhaps.

Second uestion: who is running for US Senate?

The Wisconsin Elections Commission has these names listed:

John Schiess (GOP)
Scott Harbach (GOP)

The candidates for US Senate cannot circulate nomination papers until April 15 next year. The deadline to file for the seat is June 1st, 2018.

The primary takes place on August 14, 2018.

So far, Sheriff Clarke has not jumped into the race. I would wlecome Clarke in the Trump Administration, though. His authoritative stance on law enforcement is just want our country needs.

Why I Am a Republican and Trump Supporter

At the Culver City City Council, before I spoke out against their criminal proposal to become a sanctuary city, I spoke during general public comment.

I declared why I am a Republican--and why I am a Trump Supporter

Republicans spend too much time defending individual officials and past Presidents.

They do not spend enough time defending and expanding upon Republicans' history in fighting for the rights of all, and ending special privileges for others.

Republicans formed to end slavery and polygamy.

They fought for civil rights.

They found against communism.

They have continued to fight for individual liberty and constitutional rule.

Free markets, free enterprise, and free people, among other factors about the Republican Party.

I am also a vocal supporter or Donald Trump.

He has done more to advance Republican policies than previous Presidents. I am glad that he is our President.

Please read and share.

Republican Miracle in Deeply-Democratic California: Jack Guerrero

After Election 2016, California Republicans were discouraged.

We have gotten dispersed, set aside if you will.

Can Republicans in blue states make a difference? Is it a lost cause?

California Republicans will turn into the Hawaii GOP or the Rhode Island GOP if we don’t take drastic measures. Not going with the flow, but standing against the current is the only way. I had written in a previous piece about the need for audacity. If Republicans stop being weak-kneed, but articulate a clear message with fighting spirit, then they can win anywhere.

I found one audacious Republican, and in the most unlikely of places: Jack Guerrero, councilman for the city of Cudahy. This little-known working-class community he represents is one square mile, but how it manages to contain so much drama is beyond me.

Another Southeast city much like Bell, Cudahy has become embroiled in numerous scandals. As recently as 2011, one councilman voted to change a city ordinance and allow a shorter turnaround time for city councilmembers to take on another civil service positions. Within days, Perez became the highly paid city manager. And he managed the city like a mafia boss.

Commissioners who did not vote his way, whether on planning or public safety, would get a pink slip in the mail. One commissioner drove to city hall, confronted him with the discharge notice, then ripped it up in his face. Other residents complained about the incessant roadblocks to construction on their property or businesses. Unless you knew a guy, your project was going nowhere. That’s corruption at its core.

In 2012-2013, two of Cudahy’s city councilmembers were tried, arrested, and convicted on bribery and public corruption charges. Then three young politicos ran for city council in 2013 and won. They were the reformers: Chris Garcia, Baru Sanchez, and Jack Guerrero. Guerrero was the lone Republican, and attack mailers smeared him with a stereotyped black “Republican” stamp on his pictured forehead. The smear failed, and he won. In a matter of months though, his two reform colleagues would cave and join the corrupt dark side of Cudahy politics.

The same corruption game has played out for the last four years. Garcia had run on a platform against corruption. Today, he takes big campaign money from private vendors and friends, who in turn receive lavish, extravagant contracts. Add to that an embarrassingly high salary and insurance package for the current city manager Jose Pulido, who himself has been fired from Temple City (and after receiving a $10,000 bonus!).

Cudahy contracts now include evergreen clauses, meaning that any agreement receives automatic renewal unless the city council acts to delay or end renewal. Shouldn’t city services require vetting from term to term? Not in Cudahy, according to the corrupt city council majority.

For the past four years, Guerrero has been the lone voice exposing this rampant fiscal mismanagement and pay-for-play among his corrupt colleagues. While most councilmen strive for comity and congeniality at all costs, Guerrero routinely challenges the lies, distortions, and misstatements of his peers. After all, elected officials serve their constituents. Their goal is not to arbitrarily get along with the other councilmembers and play nice.

That’s the kind of audacity we need to see in our local and state governments.

And it’s not as though Cudahy’s mismanagement and Guerrero’s exposure has fallen on deaf ears. The California state controller issued a scathing report against this little city for its massive financial woes. Internal controls to minimize budgetary waste and fraud have failed miserably. This indictment hit the evening news! To make matters worse, the near-bankrupt municipality was order to pay back millions of dollars that the city coffers simply could not cough up. Instead of fixing the problem, Chris Garcia and his corrupt crew have routinely silenced dissent in city council chambers, from Guerrero as well as concerned citizens, many of whom had supported Garcia and company before.
But how did I get started in Cudahy? I had arrived to protest the sanctuary city, a cynical ploy by Garcia to buy influence and cover up for their misdeeds. He got a little positive press for the move, but nothing more.

At our first meeting there, We the People Rising called out the corruption they visited on their working class residents. We tackled the sanctuary city issue briefly. Eventually, other members of the community rose up and shouted down the city council. Chris Garcia fled the chambers (but not before mocking me, claiming that my zipper was open).

We filed formal complaints against the city for violating our freedom of speech. The Los Angeles County District Attorney agreed with us! Another win for basic freedoms against corruption. A second time, Garcia criticized his opponents as “white supremacists—even though our team includes Hispanic and African-Americans members. Fox News picked up on that offensive rant.

These little Cudahy councilmembers are incompetent entitled children, yet they have advertised themselves as the new and vibrant future of a struggling working-class community that is 99% Latino. Now they are merely exposing themselves as the same old corrupt cabal, but this time with only baby faces.

But Guerrero is not afraid to fight back. He fights against corruption. He fights for the rule of law. And he is not afraid to tell his constituents that he is a Republican, even though the city is 88% Democratic.

His opponents used every dirty trick in the book to shut down his re-election chances. They played the Trump card very hard throughout the three months election cycle. Jack’s supporters have worried that his Republican credentials would drag down his chances. On election night, Guerrero was the top vote getter.

That’s right!

In the bluest city of the bluest county in one of the bluest states in the union, a conservative Republican, outspoken about his mission of service, won! If that’s not audacious, I don’t know what it.

Republicans have no excuse. It’s time to put up and fight—and win!

Trump Derangement Syndrome Strikes California Democratic Leaders:"Tired of Talking About Trump"

The California Democratic Party is the last bastion of any relevance for the communistic elements as a  major force for political intervention.

They have pushed redistribution of wealth, open borders, anti-liberty policies.

They don't care about working people, and they reject the rule of law.

They want to enrich themselves while plundering and impoverishing everyone else.

At the opening of the new legislative sessions, Speaker Anthony Rendon and State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon struck defiant tones against Washington DC and President Trump.

State Senator Ricardo Lara has connected much of his legislation to Donald Trump, and stopping his pro-American agenda.

Give me a break! How pathetic can one get.

The state assembly and senate issued joint resolutions attack the President, too!

Fast forward two months, and the two California Democratic leaders don't want to talk about Donald Trump.

But now--NOW!--they don't want to talk about Donald Trump anymore,

Assembly Speaker: ‘I’m tired of talking about Donald Trump’ (From the Sacramento Bee)

Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon had a message for California newspaper publishers Wednesday: “I’m tired of talking about Donald Trump.”

Led by Rendon and Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León, Democrats in the California Legislature have been setting themselves up as the resistance to the new administration since before Trump took office. De León in particular has been very outspoken against Trump and the president’s executive orders on immigration, saying the actions conflict with California values.

Rendon’s speech before the the California Newspaper Publishers Association strayed from the typical anti-Trump attack. While Rendon touched on the stark differences between deep-blue California and a GOP-dominated federal government, he told a room full of newspaper executives that his opening remarks at a recent Assembly Democrats Caucus retreat were that he was tired of speaking about the president.

He sounds a lot like Low Energy JEB!

How funny is that!

“We’re all doing a great job of talking about Trump and holding Trump accountable,” Rendon said. “If Hillary Clinton had gotten elected president of the United States, we would have started the year with 2.5 million children in California living in poverty. If Hillary Clinton had been elected president of the United States, we would have started the year with crumbling roads.”

Rendon can't hold his state together. He has no hold on reality, either. Does he really think that a state facing multi-trillion dollar debt and pension liabilities is going to hold anyone accountable?

Really?!

He remarked on the importance of telling the stories of Californians who suffer from the state’s housing crisis and transportation issues.

Of course, Rendon neglects to mention that the Democrats in Sacramento created these messes and are determined to double down on these failures.

Wow!

I guess California's Democratic leaders have learned the hard way that they are not going to get away with too much playing the blame game!

Trump is here to stay, boys. Suck it up, buttercupts!

Blue-State Republicans and the Fight They Face

As a Republican in California, I think of myself as a happy warrior. There is nothing wrong with fighting the good fight for your principles, even if you see them getting beaten back and forth from election cycle to election.

Conservatism works, but a fair playing field at every election is a necessity. Right now, California doesn't have a fair playing field for true political conflict.

Labor unions suck up all the money from working Californians to fund their limited, perverse, amoral agenda.

The state government employs too many people, in turn.

The voter system is riddled with corruption and fraud. How many dead people voted in the last election? How many illegal aliens voted? The automatic motor-voter registration has no real safeguards to ensure that illegals are not voting in our elections. There is no Voter ID, either, to protect the franchise which sends elected representatives up to Sacramento every cycle.

And the illegal immigration is beyond horrendous.

The taxes, the spending, the regulations all frustrate commerce and growth. The backbone of any thriving economy is leaving the state. Middle-income earners are investing their time and property elsewhere, too.

But the lawlessness in this state is particularly overwhelming. Corruption is becoming a sad yet staid norm in the state of California, too.

How can anyone compete with labor unions, illegal alien, and the welfare queens on top of that--the people who vote for a living, and who get subsidized by those who work for a living?

So, what do Blue State Republicans also face?

The infighting.

Should we become a little more liberal? Should we stick to our values?

Human nature leans toward accommodation, not confrontation.

But without confrontation, we will have nothing but Republicans blue in the face.

ICYMI: Delaware Lawmaker Rescinded Sanctuary State Status for Illegal Aliens

California is edging closer to making itself a sanctuary state.

The Democratic supermajority in Sacramento wants to shield all "the immigrants" from deportation from the mean, nasty Trump Administration. They have already enacted a series of resolutions denouncing any attempts at enforcement of federal immigration law.

Let's see how long this actually lasts.

The Speaker of the State Assembly wants an apartheid state for illegal aliens, along with welfare princes and the public sector union elites. They get to make the rules, and the rest of have to play along and pay the price, even if we do nothing wrong.

They are stealing money from hard-working taxpayers to subsidize immigrant lawyers. County supervisors have declared their firm intentions to build walls around their own counties to protect the illegal aliens. Governor Brown wants to build a big wall around California to shield this state from the "overreach" of Washington.

That overreach is called enforcement. It's called the rule of law, something which Democratic machine politicians have resisted and hated with a passion.

Interestingly enough, however, other states flirted with declaring themselves a "sanctuary state."

Vermont seems to be headed that way, even with a Republican Governor. Who knows what Charlie Baker of Massachusetts is dreaming up. He wants to push away from Trump as much as possible.

But what about Delaware?

The First State is strangely a blue state, even though Pennsylvania to its north and Virginia to the south have remained steadily conservative--especially at a state level.

The Blue Dog coalition in the House of Representatives best represents the Delaware political temperament, fiscal conservative but socially liberal. Republican Congressman Mike Castle managed easy re-elections year after year stressing this fiscal moderation, until the very end when he caved on very bad bills.

The state has been a Democratic trifecta for the last six years.

Democrats are getting more aggressive liberal and partisan, reflecting the regressive leftists tendencies of the national Democratic Committee.

Lawmakers were toying with the idea of make the First State a sanctuary state for illegal aliens, too.

But ... the state senator who had hatched this despicable idea ended up backing away from it!

The Washington Times reports:

DOVER, Del. (AP) - A Democratic state senator running for Congress has withdrawn legislation that would have made Delaware a “sanctuary state.”

Sen. Bryan Townsend of Newark withdrew the legislation Thursday amid recent criticism following the arrest of Richard Diaz-Garcia on federal charges of heroin possession and illegal re-entry. Court documents show Diaz-Garcia has been deported to the Dominican Republic five times and twice convicted of illegal re-entry.

Brown Townsend is in the middle.
He doesn't deserve any award.

Two of the three counties in Delaware are fairly conservative/Republican leaning. No one wins anything there if they insist on brazenly violating federal law.

Here is the mugshot of the illegal alien:

Illegal immigration is never a victimless crime. The report of a repeat offender illegal alien was enough to shut down turning Delaware into a sanctuary state.

Would that the same revelation worked in California ...

Townsend’s bill prohibited police from detaining anyone solely on the basis of an immigration detainer or warrant after the person posted bond or was otherwise eligible to be released from custody on other charges, and from arresting or detaining a person solely based on citizenship or immigration status.

I wonder what the Delaware police forces thought of this rogue action? Why would any state lawmaker want to make it harder for the local police to do their job?

Townsend said he announced almost a year ago that the legislation would not move forward.

Yeah! How about it should never have been introduced in the first place!

FYI: he lost the bid of Congress. More good news!
