Corrupt, Liberal Media Hits Unemployment Line in 2018 (Bitchez!)

The winning never ends for conservatives who are fed up with our rights, points of view, and the general media perception being so mercilessly shamed and exploited.

Check out what John Nolte shared in his latest column:

By the time President Trump’s presidency is over, one of the biggest pieces of fake news we will look back on is when we were told by the media that Trump was good for the media business. According to what is happening in a place called the real world, the truth is that business for the media is horrible.

This is really something. CNN had followed the corrupt anti-Trump model for clickbait and ongoing visits and video views. Now the general public is bored with the excessive interest in President Trump's prior private life. People are tuning out and turning to other news sources.

We will start with the Denver Postwhich announced Thursday that, between April 9 and July 1, 30 jobs will be cut from its newsroom. That is a massive 30 percent cut of its current staff of 100 journalists.  Just 10 years ago according to the far-left Washington Post, the Denver Post employed 600 journalists. That is close to a 90 percent reduction in only a decade.

You have to see this photo to enjoy the schadenfreude!
Notice the cursing, the swearing, the outrage, the overwhelming hatred.

Enjoy!

Just a few hours later we learned that another wave of surprise layoffs hit the Chicago Tribune. Fourteen newsroom staffers were let go in that publication’s second round of layoffs in less than six months. Back in October more than a dozen were let go. Roger Federer reports that “Further cuts are expected as the newspaper prepares to leave Tribune Tower for smaller space at Prudential Plaza.”

Ha Ha! A similar move to smaller headquarters has taken place in my home city of Torrance, CA, as the original Daily Breeze headquarters had to sell their iconic blue building along Torrance and Palos Verdes Drive and move into some available office space off of Torrance and Hawthorne Blvd.

Last month, the San Jose Mercury News was hit with another round of terminations, as many as 27 staffers were either laid off or bought out.

Ouch! Notice how the liberal press is getting pressed the most in uber-liberal California. They deserve it for all the years of covering for an enabling liberal, progressive, and outright left-wing politicians pushing their self-enriching agenda at the expense of everyone else. They wanted to push a progressive paradise? Now it's turn into a dystopia of tarnished legacies and unemployment.

In late January, the East Bay Times wiped out a quarter of its editorial staff through layoffs and buy outs — a total of 28 staffers.

The funny thing about this move is that editorials are the only way that writers get any kind of funding and viewer traffic. No one else is going to read anything but sensationalized pablum.

We also learned in January that a total of five publications owned by Southern California News Group will face “significant layoffs,” including the OC Register and Los Angeles Daily News.
On our cable dials, while Fox News and MSNBC are open about their respective biases and thrive, the far-left CNN is not only collapsing in the ratings but dealing with some massive layoffs of its own. Over the past few years, CNN, which continues its ludicrous pose as an objective news organization,  has been in a credibility death spiral, and that is finally starting to take a real toll on the anti-Trump cable channel.

This is the best news yet. I can't want to see CNN become DOA.

None of this should be surprising.  Americans are losing faith in the media, and for good reason. The belligerent biases, the unrelenting fake news. As an example, just look at the past 18 hours. Both ProPublica and the New York Times have been caught spreading fake news about Gina Haspel, Trump’s pick to run the CIA, and the Washington media falsely reported that Trump had fired his national security adviser, H.R. McMaster.

For the record, I am more than happy to see McMaster get the blaster. He refuses to call Islam what it is, and that is wrong.

Alternately, this same media missed completely the biggest political story of the last 60 days — Trump replacing his secretary of state with his CIA director and choosing a woman to lead the spy agency, a historic first.

The press simply cannot stand the facts of the Trump Administration. The President has nominated, appointed, and promoted a number of women in his cabinet. However, the corrupt, anti-Trump ene-media are more interested in pushing a narrative of sexual harassment and abuse, particularly over the inconsequential and dubious reports about Trump's dalliances with porn star Stormy Daniels.

Our media is shockingly useless, constantly playing catch up with actual news while obsessing over rumor and innuendo.

The lies, damned lied, and blatant distortions of the press are coming home to roost. Their diligent, unrelenting bias has hurt their brand and their consumer base. Jerry Zucker is losing subscribers and interest by the day, and layoffs are following. I was in Arizona taking a break at the local McDonald's, and the restaurant was blaring CNN's non-stop coverage of the Pennsylvanian special election and the porn star's specious stories. It's sad.

Consider the fact that the media that protected Bill Clinton — a man who as president committed perjury to cover up his sexual affair with a young intern, an affair conducted just a few rooms away from his wife and daughter in the  Oval Office — is now obsessed over a porn star’s story that she might have had a consensual affair with Trump more than a decade ago.

One decade ago, and total obsession to boot. What a waste of media space. It's pretty sad to see how bitter and useless CNN--The Clinton News Network--has become. No one wants to watch them anymore as their Nielsen ratings continue to plummet.

But there's more:

When women credibly accused Clinton of rape, groping, and harassment, our media joined the White House in destroying them as liars. But this same media hoping to turn a 12-year-old consensual relationship into a national scandal.

Americans are tired of the media lying to them, misleading them, lecturing them… Today, there are plenty of alternative sources of news. No one needs to put up with what is called the MSM anymore.

What a wonderful day in the Republic!

Which reminds me…

To protect Barack Obama’s anemic economic “recovery,” our media tried to convince us that unemployment  in the Obama era, was really “funemployment.” When the working class, those our elitist media despise, lose their jobs to illegal immigrants, unfair trade deals, and oppressive and unnecessary environmental regulations, the media have dismissively suggested that they all catch up with the times and learn computer code.

Not only that, but the liberal, elitist--and racist--political and media class told the working poor and middle-income unemployed to spend time pursuing other hobbies and interests because they did not have a job. What fun, right?

Wrong, and now they arrogant media elites and their reporting enablers can go through the same tumults which they had forced on the working communities in our country.

So let me be the first to wish all of these “journalists” a Happy Funemployment and wish them luck all the luck in the world with their new careers as computer coders.

Final Reflection

Such turnabout is fair play for the liberal press. They wanted to push a faulty, false narrative with their progressive, leftist agenda. No one wants to read the press' libera, regressive atenda.

Now they are going out of business.

As John Nolte would say: "Enjoy the funemployment, Bitchez!"

Letter to the New LA Times Owner

The new owner needs to know that I have not read the LA Times for a long time because of its nefarious, abusive left-wing bias.

The newspaper ran an entire editorial series on "Our Dishonest President". That editorial was not just partisan, but incompetent hackery.

LA Times reporters have relied on rumors rather than substantial statements from sources, as well.

Hailey Branson-Potts wrote two hit pieces against me, even insinuating that I am racist. She interviewed with a number of friends of mine, all of different ethnic backgrounds. For her to allege that I am racist is completely fraudulent, and perhaps libelous.

Such reporting is unethical and without merit. She has also has ties to well-known anti-Semite Helen Thomas, and I was not aware of those connections.

The newspaper needs to hire reporters, not social justice warriors more interested in pushing a narrative rather than simply reporting on the facts.

I would also urge more balance in the editorial section, including conservative as well as liberal viewpoints.

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Arthur Schaper

ICYMI: LA Times Failed Hit Piece to Smear Me

Hailey Branson-Potts of the Los Angeles Times wanted to write a hit-piece/hate-piece against me as an outspoken, unfettered Trump supporter.

(By the way, Branson looked up to rabid, notorious anti-Semite Helen Thomas. That says a lot about this "reporter":

Yet in spite of the desperately negative tilt of her original article, her writing had the opposite effect. I received glory and honor, while the LA Times got a black eye and further disparagement from their already dwindling readership.

To the editor: Congratulations to The Times for giving some legitimacy to one of many crackpots that have come out of the woodwork since Donald Trump became president. Giving a provocateur like Arthur Christopher Schaper front-page coverage will no doubt lead to copycats. ("Meet the Trump backer leading the resistance to the resistance in California," June 3)

No one loses money betting on how uninformed many Americans are when it comes to politics, but we Times readers don't need to read about one of the bottom feeders on the front page of your newspaper.

David Novis, Santa Barbara

Ha! HA! HA!

...

To the editor: Citizens have been confronting their representatives at town hall meetings around the country; they are concerned about healthcare, the environment and other important issues.

Schaper shows up at the same meetings name-calling, yelling insults and purposely starting needless arguments. He's very much a representative of our current president.

Daniel McVey, Los Angeles

Why thank you!

Final Reflection

I have often referred to God's promise for His servants. for those made righteous by the blood of His Son:

It's time that we rest in the truth and grace of God's promises, which we receive because of His Son Jesus.

The fallen men and women of this world will reproach us for our faith and courage. We will not allow them to stop us. We will continue to speak out the truth and let our minds be free to receive the truth and exchange the same with those who care.

The media is in disreputable decline precisely because of their addiction to an anti-Trump, anti-American narrative in completely hostility to the grounded truth as well as regard for American citizens. Their attachment to left-wing talking points and progressive agendas has hurt their brand. The American people are simply not interested in tolerating such nonsense any further.

God bless Donald Trump!

LA Times Reporter on Mentor Anti-Semite Helen Thomas: "I Am Not Going to Comment on This"

Now this is really strange.

I not only found Hailey Branson's picture with anti-Semite Helen Thomas, but she even spoke at her memorial service.

Check out the speech below:

This is really disturbing to me, and further reveals the deep bias in our media.

They stood around and celebrated this lady, the same lady who had shouted "The Jews should get the hell out of Palestine."

Those remarks were enough to force her into retirement.

Branson remarks in her speech: "She was everything I wanted to be."

Does that include hatred of Israel? A belief that Jewish people should not live in their homeland in the Middle East?

A reporter is supposed to detail the facts, but I have found that she attacks me and smears me in parts while writing the truth of the accounts in other reports. This hit-and-miss journalism is bad enough.

But she looked up to Helen Thomas as a hero?

This is really unfortunate.

I wrote her twice for a response on this, but she has not gotten back to me.

I called her directly, and she declared "I am not going to comment on this."

She doesn't like being under scrutiny herself?

This is pretty serious. I am a vocal supporter of the state of Israel, and it was a good day when Anti-Semite Helen Thomas was forced to step down following her hateful remarks. I also learned that she received an award from the Palestinian Liberation Organization for journalism.

WHAT?!

This is untenable, and simply cannot be supported.

I am urging everyone to contact the Los Angeles Times and demand answers. Why have they hired a reporter who allies herself with a rabid anti-Semite like Helen Thomas? Does the newspaper as a whole share similar views about Israel and Jews?

Here are Hailey's contacts:

Disturbing: LA Times Reporter Hailey Branson Photo-Op With Discredited Anti-Semite Helen Thomas

I didn't realize how liberal or biased LA Times Reporter Hailey Branson-Potts would be.

Or is it just Branson? Is she still married? I am not sure.

Anyway, she tried to smear me as unemployed and a dependent.

She also called the group with which I ally a hate group based on an assessment from the discredited hate site The Southern Poverty Law Center.

Now she's writing another article about my lawsuit against the city of Huntington Park for false arrest, but she also contacted the District Attorney's office.

It is very frustrating for me, since I was willing to give the reporter enough trust and access to write information on my behalf. Instead, she wanted to publish a hit piece. There is no justice or integrity in the media business anymore.

Then I get a better glimpse into her political views when I found this photo:

The older lady in red is Helen Thomas.

She was a vicious reporter in the Washington DC area. She had a strong reputation for relentless questions attacking public figures, including the President.

Yet there's more about Thomas which we cannot forget:

WASHINGTON — Helen Thomas, the veteran White House correspondent who was forced into retirement three years ago after declaring that Jews should “get the hell out of Palestine,” died Saturday. She was 92.

Thomas, who died at her apartment in Washington, had been ill for a long time, according to a friend, Muriel Dobbin.

Thomas made her name as a bulldog for United Press International in the great wire-service rivalries of old, and as a pioneer for women in journalism.

She was persistent to the point of badgering. One White House press secretary described her questioning as “torture” — and he was one of her fans.

Wow!

Thomas' career ended with those remarks. This hostility to Israel is sickening. The Jewish State has every right to exist.

But it gets worse:

Thomas received a prize in journalism from a representative of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Does Branson look up to Helen Thomas, a pro-terrorist journalist, too?!

Please contact Hailey Branson for an explanation--does she support Anti-Semitism? Does she stand with the terrorist organization Palestinian Liberation Organization?

LA Times Reporter (Finally) Writes About My Lawsuit Against Huntington Park--But Why Should We Trust Her?

In May and June 2017, LA Times reporter Hailey Branson was following me for a cover story.

Hailey Branson-Potts

She focused on strange aspects of the

I reached out to her again regarding my case against the city of Huntington Park.

I shared with her the following:

The State of the Union: UPDATE: Sanctuary City Has Me Arrested, Refuses to File With DA, Sends Multiple Notices to Appear http://bit.ly/HP_Lawless
bit.ly
The city of Huntington Park disregards the rule of law. They do not honor our immigration laws, and the city council routinely hands out tax...
http://aschaper1.blogspot.com/2017/11/breaking-trump-supporter-files-lawsuit.html

You tried to smear me in early June, and then tried to paint Trump supporters as violent thugs.

On this part, I was able to upend the story, since she was trying to push a narrative which was simply not true.

The gentleman whose car was surrounded had drawn out his firearm in self-defense.

When I was arrested without a cause, I filed a government claim.

Now I am suing the city in small claims court -- the Huntington Police Department have also REFUSED to file anything with DA -- but still send my notices to appear in Downey Court!

This is abuse on a whole new scale!

She then shared with me that she would follow up on this matter.

Then I thought better about the whole situation.

She had written a hit piece against me in the Los Angeles Times, reporting on the corrupt LA County GOP Central Committee's decision to revoke the charter for the Beach Cities Republicans. Why didn't she investigate the fact that they had refused to release a statement five months prior?

She claims that I am unemployed. I am a freelance journalist, writer, and activist. She focused on a steak sauce bottle when I was recording our conversation.

Now she's investigating what is happening in Huntington Park and what the Huntington Park police department has been doing to me.

Again, what took so long?

After thinking about what's happening with this story,  I had to ask--why would I want to give her a second chance? She tried to smear me, and it did not work. Nevertheless, we as citizens cannot continue to reward bad press agents who push a narrative rather than report the news.

I sent her the following email:

Miss Branson, I've decided that I will be speaking with you further. The hit piece that you wrote about me June 3rd was really uncalled for, and I just really don't see a reason to reward bad reporting. I've decided that I will not be speaking with you.

I noticed that you haven't written the fact that Tom Green was exonerated and the district attorney did not prosecute him for a gun crime following the incident in Cudahy. I have to say I'm really disappointed. I have no further interest to be working with you.

She has reached out to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office:

Arthur,

I have reached out to authorities and the district attorney's office about your case and lawsuit and am writing a story about it.

I know you said you don't want to speak further, but I wanted to check again: Would you like to comment?

Honestly, no I don't.

Hailey Branson-Potts with anti-Semite Helen Thomas

She referred to the anti-conservative Southern Poverty Law Center to smear MassResistance, a pro-family group that is dedicated to exposing the lies of the hateful LGBT movement.

Today, I am asking all of YOU to comment:

Please contact Hailey Branson and her editors--tell her to report the truth for once and to stop smearing Trump supporters in Los Angeles County:

More Media Fails from the LA Titanic: Reportedly vs. Actually

This one tweet encapsulates why the liberal mainstream media is in total freefall.

Hailey Branson-Potts (or is just Branson? Has she been divorced yet?), sent out the following tweet after the attacks and assaults I had endured in Berkeley this past weekend:
She writes "reportedly".

As if it weren't true or something?

The proper term is "actually", or how about not writing a qualifying adverb in the first place?

What does "reportedly" actually mean?

"According to what some say (used to express the speaker's belief that the information given is not necessarily true)."

Wow!

Did Hailey even graduate from high school? What kind of grades did she earn in English Composition?

Reportedly, she's educated, but not from the poor journalism and word choice evident in her media.

I think the pictures speak for themselves:

Then after the Antifa mobs showed up:

LA Times Fail--Print Version Leaves Out Legal Action Against Huntington Park

Yesterday, I shared how I had forced the Los Angeles Times to print more accurate, updated information about in relation to the false arrest I had endured in Huntington Park in June 6th.

Here are all the captures from  the LA Times article online:

Then the changes that followed affirmed that I was pursuing legal action because the Huntington Park Mayor and police ruled me out of order wrongfully, then falsely arrested me:

And yet, what was in the paper this morning?

Looking at the bottom of the article, there is no mention whatsoever of my being arrested in Huntington Park--or that I was filing a claim against the city for false arrest and wrongful ruling of out of order.

The Los Angeles Times had plenty of time to update the article on the website.

But they couldnn't to print what I had written to them yesterday?

What is up with the editing department at this newspaper? Was Hailey Branson upset because I called her out earlier yesterday for attempting to spin a negative narrative?

After all, the idea is developing--at least among the Fake News outlets--that Trump supporters are protecting illegal immigration in the Southeastern Los Angeles region, and looking for every opportunity possible to get arrested.

The narrative is to portray the "immigrant" communities and their brown supremacist enablers as the victims, while the citizens fighting for the rule of law or the lawless aggressors.

What a crock!

And once again, the Los Angeles Times refused to cover anything about me in Huntington Park right after I had called them out on my unjust arrest in Huntington Park!

Keep in mind that the incident with Tom Green drawing out his weapon took place on Monday, June 26.

The LA Times article was online by Wednesday, June 28, including corrections about my legal claim.

Then comes the print version on June 29, with no mention of Huntington Park?

Come on, LA Times, get it together!

LA Times Forced to Change Story about Me in "Brandishing" Cudahy Report

As expected, the Los Angeles Times not only reported on what happened in Cudahy--a law-abiding citizen was unjustly arrested for drawing out his weapon to protect himself--but had to report that I was connected to this event in some way.

Hailey Branson had to fix her story
about me and others fighting illegal immigration
YES!!!

I wasn't even there!

Check out what the Los Angeles Times (Running Out) had printed:

Yes, the reporter had to mention that I was arrested in Huntington Park earlier this month.

Sure! That's right--the Trump supporters are the lawless ones, even though we are the ones who are demanding that rule of law mean something in Los Angeles County.

I informed Hailey Branson how out of line this was by simply tell her that I filed a claim against Huntington Park for the false arrest.

And Lo and behold:

She wanted me to provide more information. I directed her to seek a FOIA. There are too many reporters simply not willing to do their jobs with any real diligence.

And just in case you do not recognize the change:

Final Reflection

I have found this increasingly that I have to correct reporters just to get the facts straight.

One journalist had so many spelling errors in his article, that I wonder what the paper is paying the man. Perhaps that reporter should sue his college for breach of contract.

Anyway--it's not that hard to stand up to the media narratives and fake news.

Just make your case and get the statements out there!

LA Times FAILS: Going Toe-Toe with Article about Me

As everyone should know by now ... The Los Angeles Times wrote a front-page article about me.

Here's the front page, upper fold for everyone to see:

Now, here is the text of the article with my comments, clarifications, and contrasts:

Shut up, Arthur, you Nazi!': Trump backer leads the resistance to the resistance in California

The crowd in the Inglewood High School auditorium had lost its patience with the loud white man in the sweat-stained Make America Great Again hat.

"Loud white man"? Really? This is the best kind of contrast which the report could set up?

Arthur Christopher Schaper sat among a mostly African American crowd at Rep. Maxine Waters’ town hall meeting last month, calling the Los Angeles Democrat “the crazy black lady” and heckling her for his Facebook Live audience. People begged him to stop talking over “Auntie Maxine.” He said he was being discriminated against.

Who is "people"? Most people were minding their own business.

“God bless Donald Trump!” he shouted.

“Shut up, Arthur, you Nazi!” someone retorted.

That remark came from one of the Brown Supremacists sititing behind me:

As the police escorted him out with the crowd cheering, Schaper held up his phone, video rolling. The next day, he blogged about it, saying Trump supporters in California were “behind enemy lines.” His ejection was quickly chronicled as heroic by the far-right website InfoWars and by Sarah Palin on her Facebook page.

Indeed, why should I not write about the discrimination against me? How about what happened to my friends Harim Uzziel and Jesse Suave? They did nothing.

California is the symbolic home of the resistance to Trump, a blue state where politicians are fighting his moves on issues like immigration, climate change and healthcare, and where thousands have taken to the streets in protest.

Schaper is part of the resistance to the resistance, a Californian who delights in upending city council meetings in so-called sanctuary cities and shouting down Democratic politicians.
Schaper is so abrasive that the local Republican Party has disavowed him. But he is indicative of the growing extremism of debate in the Trump era, when the president’s supporters and detractors in California have waged violent, vitriolic protests in Berkeley, Huntington Beach and elsewhere.

Don't you just love that phrase "so-called sanctuary cities"? Cities like Cudahy have brazenly announced that they are sanctuary cities! This kind of writing is a petty form of editorializing, nothing more.

"So abrasive that teh local Republican Party has disavowed him." The two complaints against me had nothing to do with my being abrasive. The whole revocation kabuki theater had everything to do with the unprincipled cowardice of the RPLAC leadership.

“People are afraid to put Trump bumper stickers on their car,” Schaper said. “I’m going, ‘I’ve had enough of this.’ We’re going to fight right back. We’re going to defend our right to stand with our president, to stand for our values.”

Yes! Please Retweet the above!

Who is Arthur Christopher Schaper?

Schaper, a 36-year-old unemployed Torrance resident and blogger, usually shows up at public meetings in his red Make America Great Again cap, wearing a Trump flag as a cape. He records his escapades on cellphone video, narrating in real time as he trolls in real life.

I am not unemployed. Vesselnews.com brought me on as a journalist for their newssite.

Thanks.

Schaper's style — which includes showing up to Waters' office with a sign reading, "Maxine Waters Go to Hell" — caused the Republican Party of Los Angeles County to pull the charter from the Beach Cities Republicans club of which he is president.

No it didn't. I wrote about this previously.

Schaper is involved with numerous right-wing groups, including MassResistance, an anti-LGBTQ organization that the Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled a hate group. He said financial support from MassResistance helps fund his activism.

Southern Poverty Law Center? No

Supported by MassResistance? Yes.

The quality of this journalism is rather low, considering that the SPLC has been thoroughly debunked, enough that government websites have rejected their "hate list".

This statement comes almost word-for-word from the Daily Breeze article about me, and that from the OC Weakly article, too.

He and roughly a dozen supporters and anti-illegal immigration activists have become a particularly unwelcome presence at city council meetings in places with large Latino immigrant populations such as Cudahy, El Monte and Huntington Park.

More than a dozen, actually. Actually, the average turnout for our team is between 15 and 20.

In recent weeks, they have shouted down a Riverside speech by state Senate leader Kevin de León (screaming “Anchor baby!”) and a Redondo Beach town hall by Democratic U.S. Rep. Ted Lieu.

Who shouted "anchor baby?" Not sure. This "reporting" merely follows from some of the videos which I have recorded. Do some of these reporters make a point of actually attending meetings anymore?

They temporarily stopped an immigration town hall led by Rep. Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana) on May 30, interrupting his speech. Schaper got in Correa’s face, recording video as he screamed about “illegal aliens.” Three people — including a man who hit a Trump supporter over the head with a flagpole bearing an anti-fascism banner — were detained or arrested.

"Arrested or detained." Really?! What kind of inaccuracy is this? I call it leaning to the left and attempting to depict them as less bad.

Also, notice how the reporter did not bother to point out the treasonous, lawless nature of the event. They forgot to mention that

Furthermore, she should have noted that I was reporting the event in my capacity as journalist for Vessel News. Yet she still wrote that I was unemployed. Now that is clearly bad journalism, or corrupt narrative making.

In March, they cut short an Ontario meeting led by California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra, then gathered at a Coco’s Bakery afterward, vowing over dinner to “take California back.” The fracas was gleefully covered by Breitbart.

You bet. Hailey also sat with Chanell Temple for about 30 minutes to hear about what blacks have endured because of illegal immigration. I don't see anything about her plight in the article. What gives?

“Trump’s election has energized people on a side of the spectrum that has been relatively quiet in California in recent years,” said Raphael Sonenshein, executive director of the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs at Cal State Los Angeles.

FYI: Rafe Sonenshein is a leftist with little objective credibility. He writes a frequent article for the Jewish Journal, which has gone so far left that the paper has become impalatable. Conservative Jews do touch that paper. The inclusion of Dennis Prager and David Mamet as contributors has not helped.

Although anti-immigration hardliners feel as if they have a friend in the White House and are more in line with Republican views nationally, in California they are more of a throwback to an earlier era, he said.

Mixed construction. What does having an ally in the White House now have to do with advocating for view points from the past? Hailey was trying to write one idea, but then connected to another that was irrelevant

Schaper and his allies often plot their next moves at chain restaurants like Sizzler, Coco's, Denny's and McDonald's. In an interview at a Sizzler in Torrance — during which he propped up his cellphone on a bottle of steak sauce to videorecord a Times reporter — Schaper said his provocations are payback for the raucous town halls Republican lawmakers have faced since Trump took office.

Huh? What does propping one's cellphone have to do with anything? This has got to be one of the most needless and arbitrary details in the report. Who edits this stuff?

FYI, I had propped up my camera phone like that to record our interview.

“Being nice doesn’t work,” he said.

Great line. I hope people print it in a quotation compendium some day.

The day before the election, Trump tweeted a link to a column from the conservative website Townhall.com headlined, “What I Like About Trump … and Why You Need to Vote for Him.”
It was written by Schaper, whose voice swells with pride when he mentions the tweet.

Of course! How else would I feel? This is the second time a media source reported that Trump tweeted my Townhall.com article!

“Because of his lead on attacking and diminishing establishment media, it’s encouraged more of us to come out,” Schaper said of Trump. “The media narrative isn’t going to be dominant. We get to be the media now.”

Yes indeed, and now the Los Angeles Times is my next victim.

Schaper was raised in the South Bay in a “churchgoing, Bible-believing, evangelical” family, he said. He doesn’t currently attend a church, saying “compromising liberalism” is causing churches to shy away from the Bible.

All of the above. How true it is. I do not apology for the inerrancy of God's Word.

I also am saddened that many churches do not preach the fullness of the Gospel of Grace.

But Pastor Joseph Prince does -- and notice once again that the newsreport is silent on this matter.

He worked for several years as a substitute teacher but said students mocked him and threw things at him. After he was laid off in 2012, Schaper, who complains of “welfare for illegals,” collected unemployment and got financial help from his father before going to work at a Vons grocery store.

I am not sure if the reporter was trying to complain about a dichotomy or a contradiction here.

First of all, I am not an illegal alien. Rest assured

Second of all, I have like evryone else paid into Unemployment (it's called unemployment insurance for a reason.)

I am not ashamed that my father was willing to help me. In fact, my father felt that his financial contributions were a sound investment--which has indeed paid off!

Schaper is currently unemployed and uninsured, and was exempt from paying a fine for failing to sign up for coverage because his income was so low, he said. Yet, at Waters’ town hall he shouted about the Affordable Care Act: “I can afford my own healthcare! I don’t want to live off Mommy!"

I would rather have the government get out of the way. Who wouldn't? Why has health insurance become unaffordable? Obamacare! I am glad to hear that the President and the Republican Congress are taking steps to get that terrible program away from us.

Trump wasn’t his first choice for president, Schaper said. But he was swayed by the way Trump spoke about illegal immigration. He believes all people in the U.S. illegally, including those brought as young children, should be deported.

Yes. End of story.

In May, Schaper went to an El Monte City Council meeting with fellow members of the Claremont-based anti-illegal immigration group We the People Rising, led by Robin Hvidston, who was previously associated with the Minuteman Project that led vigilante border patrols.
A few weeks earlier, they disrupted an immigrants’ “know your rights” forum in El Monte. Schaper — who said he contacted U.S. Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions to report the event — was escorted out by police.

Again, the bias is palpable. There are "immigrants", and there are "illegal aliens". This distinction matters, even if the liberal press doesn't want it to.

At the council meeting, Schaper and his group complained about illegal immigration.

“They hate brown people!” someone shouted.

“Racists, go home!” others hollered.

At this point in the article, the website version of the article features a picture of Harim Uzziel and Jesse Suave --both Trump supporters--being  forced out of the Maxine Waters Town Hall.

Once again, they are both Latinos for Trump, and they are friend of mine--and they are "brown."

Did the reporters and the editors even bother to ensure that their bias was consistent even on a superficial level? At all?!

I have to ask at this point: who are the ones who really hate "brown people"?

Who are the racists?

Chanell Temple, a black Trump supporter who said she lost a bookkeeping job because she couldn’t speak Spanish, said during public comments that immigrants in the country illegally are “riding off the backs of blacks,” usurping their hard-fought civil rights movement.
Schaper held a sign asking El Monte Mayor Andre Quintero: “Who do you work for?? Americans or illegals!!!”

The issue was more than she could not speak Spanish. The company reuired her to speak Spanish because they were hiring illegal aliens. Notice the purposeful elimination of needed information?
I have exposed before that Branson's lack of  understanding of English--and/or her clear bias--

“Verguenza!” Schaper shouted in Spanish, pointing at Quintero. Shame on you!

No uotation marks for "Shame on you!"? More bad editing.

As the group filed out, someone yelled, “You’re the KKK!” Another person hissed, “vendida!” (sellout) at Trump supporter Loretta Sanchez, from Hesperia.

El Monte resident Veronica Tomas stood near the door, taking video as Temple walked toward her.

“Get that phone out of my face,” Temple said, walking into her. Tomas shrieked and dropped her phone. Police held the women apart as Schaper and the others rushed to the parking lot, whispering their next meeting place that night: a Denny’s in Temple City.

Oh, and Chanell did not walk into Tomas, but Tomas lied, without a doubt, and the article proved it.

Quintero said the group is a familiar, if annoying, presence. As he was recently reading an article about them disrupting de León’s town hall, the mayor saw a photo of Schaper and another man sitting next to him, making a face.

The mayor is lying again, as usual. We are not familiar faces in El Monte, nor did we have an interest to do so. We went to the illegal alien town hall. Then we went to the May 2 El Monte City Council meeting.

How does that make us "familiar" to this corrupt mayor?

"There was a picture of a guy sticking his tongue out, and it was like, ‘Hey, I know that guy!’ “ Quintero said, laughing.

A few weeks later, Schaper and crew went to the City Council meeting in Cudahy, a so-called sanctuary city, holding signs with messages like “ICE Hotline Call Now!” They were greeted by a sign that read: “Deport all white supremacists back to Europe!”

Seriously, Hailey. "So-called" Sanctuary city? Chris Garcia himself boasted about the city taking on sanctuary status. Do a better job, or call it quits.

After the meeting abruptly ended because there were not enough council members to form a quorum, the scene devolved into screaming between the Trump supporters and dozens of livid protesters, some holding a Mexican flag.

Sheriff’s deputies pleaded with Schaper, by name, to walk away and escorted him to his car as a sheriff’s helicopter flew overhead.

Yes, but I refused to shoved off since I had committed no crimes.

Making the Sizzler great again

On a warm May evening, the Beach Cities Republicans club gathered at the Sizzler in Torrance, members filling their plates from the salad and taco bar.

Hailey, you need to edit better. What does eating at a taco bar have to do with anything?

Schaper was elected to a second term as the group’s president in the fall — which caused the L.A. County GOP to revoke its charter. Schaper says the party turned on him because he takes his cues from Trump and is willing to confront.

Exactly.

“They want to have a full social calendar, have a bunch of nice titles, eat, burp, and that’s it,” he said. “It’s almost like the Republicans have all but given up.”

Yes.

In a statement, the county GOP cited Schaper’s “inappropriate activities” — disrupting meetings, intimidating elected officials and citizens — as a major reason for pulling the charter.
“Complaints about his activities from elected officials and everyday citizens reflect badly on the Republican Party,” the party said.

Now this is a memo I had never received. Since when did I engage in "inappropriate" activities? I asked for the record to explain the problems, which they never produced.

At the Sizzler, Beach Cities member Claude Todoroff, of Torrance, lamented the rift between the club and the party.

“We should be kicking Democratic ass, not our own!” he said.

Claude Todoroff is the President of the Torrance-Lomita Republican Assembly. He also rebuffed RPLAC, refusing to donate any money to them.

One of Schaper’s guests was Joseph Turner, whose group American Children First unsuccessfully tried to ban children who came to the U.S. illegally from some Inland Empire public schools and to force the American-born children of parents here illegally to pay tuition.

“Us Southern Californians wear our anti-illegal immigration activism like a badge of courage,” Turner said. “We know ... we are the toughest and most effective activists in the nation.”
Schaper shed his abrasive persona as he led the meeting. When people spoke, he asked the crowd to please be respectful and quiet or leave.

Indeed.

Final Reflection

I have already exposed the Marxist bias--or lack of language skill--of this writer.

I have further shared key problems with the article, which abound.

I would further add that the writer herself, in connection with the shabby editing, expose a pretty failed narrative.

More to come!
