Nick the Greek Celebrates His 43rd Anniversary of Becoming an American Citizen (Photos)

Nick Iaonnidis, aka Nick the Greek in America, celebrated his 43rd anniversary as an American citizen.

He hosts a celebrating at Holmes Elementary in the Jordan Downs section of Los Angeles every year.

This year, more people from We the People Rising attended.

I also invited special guest Tri Ta, the Mayor of Westminster.

He gave one of the most moving speeches in favor of the rule of law and legal immigration at the city council meeting two weeks ago.

Nick the Greek brought papers and other memorabilia to share with the students and staff who attended his event.

It was  really happy time for all of us. So glad that I could be there.

I was honored to join them, too!

Here's Nick the Greek with Kerry Porter, another member of the Huntington Park community.

Mayor Ta presented Nick with an award not just for his 43 years as an American citizen, but for founding Immigrants Day!

Here, Nick speaks with the children at Holmes Elementary:

We the People Rising celebrates Nick's love for the United States.

What a great patriot he is!

Dr. Robert Newman of Redlands, CA honors Nick the Greek, too!

The principal of Holmes Elementary greeted Nick warmly and praised him for his love of country.

Many people may be surprised to see this wonderful, patriotic fervor in a blue state public school, but boys and girls are learning to love and honor this wonderful country, and the administrators in the public schools are promoting how wonderful the United States is!

AWESOME!

We love the American Flag!

Red, white, and blue!

Sergeant Durham, an army recruiter stationed in Huntington Park, visited to honor Nick the Greek, too.

What a great surprise!

  1. Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this blog.
It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's tough to
get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and appearance.
I must say you've done a excellent job with this.
In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Safari.
    Exceptional Blog!
