9-9-9 and Laffer's Endorsement

Art Laffer, the inventor of the economic theory for the "Laffer Curve" has endorsed Herman Cain's 9-9-9 tax plan.

All I can say is: "I am Laffing my A---- off!"

We need tax neutral adjustments to our taxcode, not added burdens to consumers and the states.

We need to cut spending, cut spending, cut spending. We need to adjust entitlements, offering private options to young generations. We need to wean current recipients off the public dole and into private initiative, providing incentives, like cutting income taxes or offering ownership in public-private corporations.

But to create two layers of taxes for consumers, plus laying a tax on those who do not pay, is political suicide, not to mention useless for revamping a sluggish economy.
