I have lived in Hawaii 30 years. As well, I have been around the HRP for quite a number of years. I know the issues and the players. The following is the essence of why I am running. We have a responsibility to take a stand for righteousness in our society. The political and governmental arena in this state has been an overwhelming pathetic display of the absence of Divine conscience and righteousness for decades. We have lived in a state overwhelmingly controlled by one party for decades. That party has encouraged out of control spending [actually bankrupting the state with $25 Billion in unfunded liabilities - state workers will end up retiring only to find there is no money to pay them], providing no sensible solutions for the homeless, providing no sensible solutions for housing for the working class, over bearing individuals and businesses with the highest tax burden in the country - including on food and medicine. To say the least, these positions and results do not align with a Divine righteous viewpoint of economics. As well, let us observe the positions, environment, and overall tone this controlling party has set and enacted into law regarding specific behavior relating to individuals and family. We see a welfare system that generously supports sex out of marriage and children being born out of marriage - including for those who actively engage in serious patterns of irresponsible behavior and drug use. In fact the welfare system in Hawaii is more generous to those who are not married than to those who are. We watched this state go from violating Divine principles of sexual behavior and the Divine principles of marriage and family by observing this state go to formal civil unions [which only allowed the same civil rights that existed on the books already] to same sex marriages and the glorification of such behavior in the public arena - an open out right act of defiance against God and His design. Following that, we observed the acceleration of homosexual, transgender, multi-gender indoctrination [all doctrines that conflict with our Creator and His design] of the weakest and most potentially vulnerable of our society, our children. They began being inundated with curriculum and material attempting to influence them with the idea that unrighteous behavior is acceptable, and to take it to an extreme, actually righteous - a grand perversion. Yes, they had the audacity to call it "Pono" Choices. If that isn't the epitome of out right deceit, perversion, and evil, I don't know what is. Kindergartners have been confronted and forced to deal with questions and issues like which gender they identify with [potentially other than what they were physically born], which gender bathroom they would prefer to use, why does so and so have two mommies or two daddies, and why is it better that way? This is the type of intense indoctrination the children endure in the public school system in Hawaii. This last legislative session we watched as the obviously out of control Honolulu Rail project advanced with no real accountability. A project that has screamed out the appearance of out right theft, political corruption, and graft with an estimated expenditure of $1 billion per mile - absolute insanity - I used to be involved in heavy construction and was the project manager a short time in CA for the construction of bridges. If you research the average cost of one mile of bridge, you will find Caltrans estimates $30 million. If you estimate every bell and whistle into that bridge, you are potentially at $60 million per mile. Okay, let's just throw in an extra $40 million for Hawaiian waste. You would be at an excessive $100 million per one mile of bridge. The Honolulu authority is telling us they spent 10 times that amount per mile, and they cannot tell us where the money went. They have constructed 11 miles of such rail at this outrageously [you would have to get insanely creative to spend that amount of money per mile] purported expense and have been approved by the legislature to continue at the same rate with no accountability, no defined deadline, and no defined final cost. They have indebted the entire state taking whatever limited valuable resources once existed for outer islands, have indebted our grandchildren’s grandchildren for decades to come, and are now attempting to create new taxes to cover up for the $ Billions they have pocketed. Beyond that, we have seen the assisted suicide bill pass the legislature. Here we have a major conflict with God - [assisted murder?]. First of all, I think there is a major moral issue based upon God's text in the act of suicide. It violates numerous Divine principles. But now, on top of that the legislature supposedly legally empowered doctors [who ironically took a Hippocratic oath] to now assist in taking a life. We are headed into pure evil. [I can empathize with pain but not with violation of Divine law.] How do we know Johnny and Mary don't want to receive their inheritance early? We have entered into the realm of major sin and the Pandora’s box effect of multiplied varieties of sin that exponentially accelerate off a faulty premise. As well, we had the gender-counseling bill that basically forbids counselors from counseling gender-disturbed children to stabilize them in the gender they were born. Thus no parent would be allowed to receive the assistance from a counselor to assist in such counseling. But the bill does allow the counselor to provide sex change counseling - [outrageous]. Not only is this a perverted attempt to indoctrinate and thrust an anti-God agenda on us, this is an absolute violation of our first amendment rights to freedom of speech as well as to freedom of religion and the basic principle that a parent maintains the sovereign guardianship rights of decisions to the health and well being of his or her child.   So, to every person cares about righteousness in the state of Hawaii, where were you? And where are you? Where was and where is your voice? We know the party that promotes and caters to this type of evil. We know the party that supports failed liberal policies. It is obviously the Democrat party. In the midst of all this evil, there has been the bewildering eerie silence. The HRP under Shirlene Ostrov as chair has failed miserably to provide us a voice relating to the matters in the public arena that we care about and that affect us, our family, our friends, and our neighbors on a daily basis. When you look at all the major issues addressed this last session, there was no clear message of opposition to this unrighteous insanity being expressed on TV, Radio, Newspaper, or social media to the voting public. The Hawaii Republican Party under Shirlene Ostrov has become an indifferent silent entity failing to put out a strong message to the general voting public. The HRP under Shirlene Ostrov is plagued with duplicity and internal corruption, as well as a lack of resources, personnel, a lack of a functioning teleconference system, and numerous other logistical deficiencies. I aim to change that. I aim to create an effective political action organization that goes after failed liberal policies and turns this state around to what is in the best interests for those who live here [rather than to exist as a “party” characterized as a social club. ** DEEP STATE PARTY CORRUPTION:  Kauai GOP Ousts Cheating County Chair and Fake Delegates ** THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK:  Shirlene Ostrov Responds with Even More Lying & Cheating to Save Crooked Steve Yoder (and his illegitimate pro-Ostrov delegates) Aloha Republicans: Many of you have witnessed the dramatic fighting back and forth over the election fraud and delegate disenfranchisement (a.k.a. cheating) inside Kauai's GOP; pitting Crooked 2015-2019 county chair Steve Yoder against conservative challenger Honest Dave Hamman for the 2019-2021 county chairmanship on the Garden Isle, a place where ZERO elected Republicans have held office during Yoder's entire sad tenure in office. BREAKING NEWS:  Here is the very latest in the shocking cheating scandal which casts considerable doubt on the legitimacy of this weekend's state GOP convention on Maui, where widespread cheating has produced illegitimate delegates who are now on their way to Maui to choose new state party leaders. An overwhelming vote of the Kauai GOP's rules committee and executive committee have reviewed the fraud perpetrated by Steve Yoder in order to facilitate his reelection back in March.  Their verdict?  Yoder is out, the county convention results have been tossed out, a new convention has been called for June, and Dave Hamman has been named the interim county chair. Well, that was enough to cause Shirlene Ostrov to reveal her inner cheater, since she's done a lousy job of disguising her desire for Yoder to remain in that position -- a position which holds a crucial vote on the state party's executive committee -- and she's done an even lousier job containing her intention of letting Yoder's phony convention delegates travel to Maui this weekend and vote for her re-election. And so, this past Monday, desperate Ostrov sent Dave Hamman the most ridiculous 'cease and desist' letter you'll ever read.  In summary, Ostrov ordered Hamman to ignore the cheating, accept defeat, let Yoder be county chair, and get excited about helping these cheating leaders by enthusiastically licking their stamps and stuffing their envelopes despite having been robbed of certain victory. But the most noteworthy aspect of Ostrov's letter to Hamman is her willingness as the current leader of the Hawaii Republican Party to completely invent some facts and completely ignore other facts to reach her phony conclusion. Check out Ostrov's phony reasoning and false timeline upon which she relies for her fraudulent conclusions.  Though the letter was actually authored by Elvie Leming (legal secretary at the Carlsmith Ball law firm) and then modified by Ann Correa Kemp (HRP state rules chair) for Shirlene Ostrov's signature, here's what Ostrov 'wrote' in her letter to Hamman to protect her boy Yoder . . . "On the County level, to have challenged the election of Chair Yoder, you should have submitted your challenge in writing to the Kauai Rules Committee within 10 days so that the Kauai Rules Committee could make a recommendation to Kauai County Executive Committee, who would decide the election challenge." What Ostrov pretends never happened is precisely what did happen.  Within days of the March 23rd county convention at which Yoder squeaked by with just enough votes (thanks to his replacing two dozen or more legitimate delegates with illegitimate ones), a dozen or more official complaints were filed in a timely fashion by Kauai Republicans with that island’s county rules committee headed by Dave Hamman -- the same committee which Ostrov refers to.  These same timely complaints (like this one which the KRP rules committee entitled "Exhibit 27" and was filed just 48 hours after the fraudulent county convention) led directly to rulings by the Kauai rules committee and then the Kauai GOP executive committee that the county convention was bogus, that cheating was rampant, that a new convention would be scheduled in June, and that Steve Yoder was out. As if Ostrov didn't think she had lied enough, she doubled down on her lies . . . "The key point to remember is that the Kauai County Convention elected officers for 2019-2021 and no challenge to their election has been timely filed with the Kauai County Committee." Again, Ostrov is lying because a challenge to that rigged election of Yoder and his fellow KRP officers is EXACTLY what happened.  The Kauai Rules Committee acted on these timely complaints by voting to overturn Yoder's phony and rigged county convention and the legitimate members of the Kauai GOP Committee (the ones who didn't cheat) voted overwhelmingly to toss out the election results because Steve Yoder and his cronies had flagrantly broken party rules to retain power and disenfranchise legitimate delegates. In fact, for weeks prior to the ill-fated March 2019 county convention on Kauai, Dave Hamman dutifully challenged the cheating by Yoder, Ostrov, Correa, and other top party officers who were trying to manipulate the outcome by crossing off the names of pro-Hamman delegates who were legitimately credentialed by the three district chairman on Kauai and REPLACING legitimate delegates with Yoder's cronies based on encouragement to cheat by Ostrov and Correa. Anyone following the antics of HRP's Ostrov and Kauai's Steve Yoder over the past two months knows that these two crooked RINO's have been desperately trying to squelch the conservative uprising by Kauai Republicans disgusted with sorry leadership from both Yoder and Ostrov. Ostrov simply wants rule-abiding conservative Republicans to accept her lies as the final word on the subject as if it's too late to do the right thing. Interim KRP Chair, Dave Hamman, replied to Ostrov's insane 'cease and desist' rantings this way:  "Shirlene, it is sad that you continue to persist in misrepresenting the facts.  As well, what is even more egregious is that you disrespect the KRP Rules Committee and the KRP Executive Committee." Yes indeed, Ostrov just pulls 'shibai' out of her okole and presents them as facts. It's even sadder that neither the HRP state committee nor the HRP executive committee has intervened about Ostrov's and Yoder's conspiracy to defraud Kauai Republicans of a fair and free election of party officers.  But many of them are complicit in this scheme because they are aligned with the progressive, RINO Tupola-Ward-Ostrov faction that now holds power.  These corrupt party leaders SIMPLY DO NOT CARE that Ostrov invents facts to serve her purposes of saving Yoder (and his illegitimate pro-Ostrov delegates) and effectively flushes the remainder of her own integrity down the toilet in a desperate attempt to win at all costs . . . with zero regard for the damage Ostrov is doing to party unity. It’s time for Shirlene Ostrov and Steve Yoder to cease and desist.  The masquerade is over.  Yoder is yesterday’s news.  And it’s time for Ostrov to step aside.  In fact, HIRA believes that the time has come for her 2019-2021 slate of party officer wannabes to step up and dump that lying sleaze while they still have a shred of integrity.  Every single person running for party office this coming Saturday KNOWS what has transpired.  And the silence from 99% of them is what will be remembered after this weekend's state convention. They KNOW that far more delegates got elected and appointed who supported Yoder’s challenger Dave Hamman than support Yoder for another two years.  They KNOW that Yoder openly admitted that his days as county chair were numbered.  They KNOW that instead of losing gracefully, Yoder worked with Ostrov and her zero integrity rules chair Ann Correa Kemp to cook the books; with Yoder and his cronies improperly DELETING the names of eligible delegates for the contested Kauai GOP county convention while improperly ADDING pro-Yoder sycophants to the delegate roster.  They also KNOW that Yoder even admitted to more than a dozen witnesses before the State Rules Committee that he improperly changed the delegate lists from all three house districts on Kauai -- a clear violation of very clear rules.  Cheating, in other words. But that's not the outcome Ostrov and her Tupola-Ward RINO cabal wanted.  Ostrov and her RINO Cabal slate know the score.  But, thus far, they think she'll get away with even more cheating on Maui this weekend. Without question, Kauai Republicans led by Dave Hamman followed the rules and dealt with Steve Yoder’s (and Shirlene Ostrov’s) systematic cheating in a timely fashion by acting on many quickly submitted complaints about the fraudulent Kauai GOP county convention.  They did the right things.  Now, Ostrov continues to do the wrong things. As anyone can plainly see, Shirlene Ostrov's willingness to steal an election and cover up outright fraud makes her the biggest liar in Hawaii politics today.  Her entire regime at HRP is corrupt.  And the new slate which backs Ostrov appears to be as morally bankrupt as they come.*   (* more about this tomorrow). BE WARNED:   As you’ll hear tomorrow, those Ostrov-aligned wannabes have rallied around a likely criminal who is under investigation by the FBI, the FEC, the U.S. Attorney’s office, and several state agencies.  Ms. Ostrov hasn’t told you this because, well, she’s trying to cling to power and doesn't want you to worry about pesky things like big fines or prosecutions.  The further implosion of the Hawaii GOP in 2019 will be caused by the Ostrov-Tupola-Ward Gang.  THIS KIND OF SERIOUS LEGAL TROUBLE IS WHAT SHIRLENE OSTROV BRINGS TO THE HAWAII REPUBLICAN PARTY. IT'S THE KIND OF TROUBLE WHICH MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CONVINCE VOTERS TO EVER REPLACE DEMOCRATS WITH GOP CANDIDATES. Anyway folks, the entire state convention on Maui is a fraud.  Manipulated delegate lists are already in play thanks to the cheating on Kauai.  And such rulebreaking manipulations are just as likely from Maui and the Big Island, since each of these counties have been working in cahoots with Crooked Ostrov and Corrupt state rules chair Ann Correa to help secure Ostrov's unwarranted re-election. So now you know the real facts about the lying and cheating by the Democrat Party’s favorite GOP chair of all time -- the one whose corrupt actions and proud incompetence helps Democrats to sleep soundly every night.  That's our very own Cheatin' Shirlene Ostrov-Blackburn, the pride of Mililani's RINO's.  Auwe! Finally, don't pin any hopes on current party leaders to stop all this cheating.  They've been turning a blind eye for two months.  In addition to the many financial crimes of Ostrov and fellow officers, every member of the party's top leadership knows that the Ostrov-Tupola-Ward gang actively utilized cheating sanctioned by Ostrov and Ann Correa at the March 2019 Honolulu GOP convention by authorizing neighbor islanders to fly to Oahu and improperly vote for Henry Vincent.  That tactic was specifically requested by Maui GOP chair Greg Lussier for the benefit of Henry Vincent, while the cheating orchestrated by Yoder on Kauai in March 2019 was openly supported by the Ostrov-Tupola-Ward sycophants who were installed as county chairs in West Hawaii and East Hawaii. Ohio Right To Life Suddenly Loves the Heartbeat Bill?

This should just make pro-life people in Ohio sick.

The behavior of Ohio Right to Life regarding the Heartbeat Bill has been nothing short of appalling.

Everyone knows who the force behind the Heartbeat Bill was: Janet Porter. But Porter was not invited to the signing of the bill.

A story from the Associated Press quotes Mike Gonidakis of ORTL, when asked why Janet Porter was not at the signing of the Heartbeat Bill, and here's what Gonidakis said:

"Asked about Porter's absence from the bill-signing, Gonidakis said the appropriate people were invited 'bar none.'

"'I would say that the right people were in the room,' he said. 'It was to thank the governor and to celebrate a huge pro-life victory. It was a very diverse group, from pregnancy centers to local groups to pastors to legislative officials. I think it was a great cross-section of those who support life in the state of Ohio.'"

SO, I asked Janet what she might have to say about this. She told me:

"Mike Gonidakis lobbied with Planned Parenthood against the Heartbeat Bill for 9 years. He twice called for a veto of the nation's most protective bill, but as soon as it was clear it would pass, he jumped in front of the parade to pretend he had something to do with its passing. It passed in spite of Mike Gonidakis and Ohio Right to Life."

Call to Action to OC Board of Ed/Anaheim Union HSD: Remove Planned Murderhood from Public Schools!

1. Direct every school district in Orange County to remove Planned Parenthood from any (or all) instruction programs and contracts, including sex-ed. The implementation of any third-party, biased curriculum is a violation of AB 329. Besides that, Planned Parenthood as an immoral and unhealthful agency dedicated to ruining young lives and limited the population of minority communities, especially African-Americans.

2. Direct every school district to disinvite and disallow the entry and implementation of any program connected to or supported by the OC LGBT Center, and especially the presence and promotion of OC LGBT Director Laura Kanter.

Kanter's abusive antics with her fellow activists and her offensive rhetoric on social media should alone disqualify her from any presence or purpose in Orange County public schools.

They list phone numbers that you can use to call. (I called all 8 numbers in less than 30 minutes and

politely expressed my strong objections.) The State Dept. gave me an “Office of Public Engagement”

number to call (202-647-6575) where you can only leave a 30 second message – which I did – but I also made sure to call all 4 listed State Dept. numbers to politely hopefully help swamp them with strong pro-family and pro-religious freedom concerns.

Mat Staver is the founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mat has over 230 published legal

opinions, has authored 8 scholarly law review publications and 10 books. He’s filed numerous briefs

and argued in many federal and state courts including the U.S. Supreme Court where he has also

argued two landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.

What is the Equality Act (HR-5)? To quote Mat, it’s, ‘…the greatest threat to religious freedom coming out of Congress…ever.’ It’s rapidly moving through the U.S. House where Mat believes it will pass.

From there it moves to the Senate and that’s where he feels it can be stopped.

The Equality Act amends a number of federal laws by elevating sexual orientation and gender identity to the same level as race in areas such as public accommodation, employment, etc. This expansion will cover every aspect of American life. In other words, anything you can’t currently do regarding race you won’t be able to do legally respective to LGBTQ. This includes cities, states, churches, religious organizations, all schools through the college and university level regardless of whether they’re Christian, public or private.

Looking at this more specifically, just as bathrooms can’t be segregated on the basis of race, under

this law a church, for example, couldn’t tell a man that he has to use the men’s restroom if that man

says or insists that he’s a woman and is entitled to use those facilities. To stop that individual would

be discrimination based on LGBT.

One of the proposed amendments to the bill was to strike religious freedom exemptions from it. That

failed by a vote of 22-10 which means there’s still no religious freedom protection in the bill as it

currently stands.

Jim played two quotes from the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jerry Nadler. One

addresses the matter of religious liberty in this matter and the other concerns transgender athletes

and their impact on women’s sports. In both cases, Mat referred to evidence that exposed the false

nature of Chairman Nadler’s statements.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has announced their support for HR-5. So if you’re a business

owner, you can let your feelings be heard on this issue by calling the executive vice president and

chief policy officer of the chamber at the contact information listed below.

While all this is going on concerning HR-5, Mat also noted that more than one credible source is

indicating that the State Department will issue a pro-LGBT directive this month to worldwide

embassies through Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. See the numbers listed below for contacting the

PA MassResistance: Keep Drag Queen Story Hour Out of Your Local Library

Coming to a library near you: Drag Queen Story Hour? Maybe. 

Imagine a man with a white painted face, black lipstick, and red-dyed hair flowing over a sleeveless dress that reveals tatooed arms and hairy chest. He’s reading a colorfully illustrated children’s book to a room full of kids; not Winnie the Pooh or Dr. Seuss. Rather, the story is one that uses allusion and colorful characters to normalize transgenderism and the homosexual lifestyle.

It’s happening at public libraries across the U.S., part of a well orchestrated LGBT program to indoctrinate children. 

Drag Queen Story Hour has been hosted at libraries in many major U.S. cities. Closer to home, gay men wearing garish women’s dresses and makeup have performed for children at libraries in Reading, Allentown, Lansdale, and Bala Cynwyd.

The fight for the minds and souls of children has ramped up yet another notch. According to LifeSiteNews, drag queen Felicia Bonee is quoted saying, “It’s just a great way to introduce them [your children] to the concept [that] you can be whatever you want to be and you can make your dreams come true.” Time was when such dreams included being an astronaut or President, but LGBT activists wants kids to dream of cross-dressing and same-sex attraction as fun and normal.

It’s more insidious than you think. At a library in Lafayette, Louisiana, drag queen Dylan Pontiff was very pointed in his group’s intentions when he told a library committee, “We are trying to groom the next generation.”

Harmless fun for kids? Drag queen William Dees who read aloud at the Houston Public Library is a convicted child sex offender and a self-described male prostitute, it was later discovered. According to LifeSiteNews, Dees was photographed at a Drag Queen Story Hour carrying a rubber chicken, a symbol used by homosexuals to indicate a sexual preference for young boys. That’s what “grooming” really means. Incredibly, Dees was the second registered child sex offender to perform at the Houston library which previously hosted pedophile Albert Garza, convicted of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old boy.

Those library officials should resign.

In February, the Vancouver, Washington, library hosted drag queen Devin Crosland who in 2017 was filmed performing a pornographic routine simulating sex with a cardboard replica of the Magic School Bus. “The act, recorded and posted on YouTube by the performer, is accompanied by the 1980s pop song ‘I Think We’re Alone Now,’ a celebration of underage fornication,” LifeSiteNews reported.

Was no one vetting these performers, or were library officials more concerned with political correctness than the safety of children?

Folks have to be wondering if this is even legal in public libraries. I am no lawyer, but I believe Drag Queen Story Hour is knowingly harmful to children. A quick review of §5903 of PA Title 18 indicates to me that gay men dressed as women reading stories designed to win future favor for a homosexual lifestyle violates the spirit, if not the letter, of the law.

All this raises the question of who funds our local libraries and do we have a say in what they do? In Luzerne County, libraries are overseen by the Luzerne County Library System which receives state funding and distributes it to its 10 member libraries. A local school property tax also supports libraries. If our taxes support libraries, we have a say in what they do. Our local library is managed by a 16-member Board of Trustees. Call and write them. 

Libraries are a great resource and worthy of our support unless they become venues for a political agenda that undermines faith and morals and the safety of children.

It’s impossible to fight every battle in the culture war, but this is a good place to dig in your heels and get involved
