Where Friedman Made a Mistake in Regards to Free Markets

Milton Friedman was a brillant economist, well-read and informed academic.

He brought forth a number of incredible, essential arguments to defend free enterprise and domestic economic liberty for businesses large and small. Don't get me wrong--I am all for free enterprise. Domestic economic freedom is an absolute must in any country, so that individuals can enjoy the highest standard of living possible.

BUT ... there is a place for government intervention in a number of issues.

1. Tariffs play an important role in securing the national security and interest of a country.

2. Illegal immigration and mass immigration are a bane for any country. No group of people, no mass movement of people should be permitted to overrun a country and complete change the contour and constitutional character of the nation.

This video exposes what the problem became for Milton Friedman's free market views--and Friedman himself admitted to the failure of one of his many tenets.

Check out this video from Reason Magazine here.

Friedman was convinced that the people of Hong Kong, China, elsewhere would rise up and oppose the taxpayer-funded subsidies for national businesses.

However, that never happened. Authoritarian regimes do not listen to the people whom they are supposed to care for. They do what they want. subsidize whatever businesses and interests they please. The pro-tariff arguments are stronger in these cases. Granted, tariffs can amount to a tax, but that only occurs if individuals purchase the goods from the other countries.

If authoritarian countries are subsidizing their goods and dumping them into other nations to undercut their industries, tariffs have to be imposed.

Friedman's argument in "Free to Choose" was not satisfactory for dealing with this problem. If a country lowers its tariffs in the face of countries with cheaper goods based on nationalized policies of currency manipulation and subsidies, the businesses in our country will fail and falter.

This problem occurs in Sub-Saharan countries, as well, in which Western nations offer a bunch of goods as "charity." For example, many countries will send in a bunch of free shoes to help an impoverished area. What happens, though? The local merchants go out of business, because they cannot compete with free."

Hence, the need for tariffs. The same idea is pervasive around the world. The United States was right to enact key tariffs to protect local industries against predatory policies from other countries. Open borders and open international markets can become problematic when these concerns are not taken into account.

Hong Kong Pro-Democracy Activists: Pro-Gay, Pro-Che, Pro-Communist

Check this out!

Pro Democracy Activists in Hong Kong are
Pro-Gay and Pro-Che?!
In previous posts, I have reported that the so-called pro-democracy movement has some very anti-democratic elements with it.

First, I pointed out that Joshua Wong, the self-described youth leader assisting with the democracy movement, has admitted to some very socialistic thinking and positions. He believes that capitalist hegemony must be confronted, whatever that means.

Joshua Wong

He is also militant pro-homosexual and transgender. He supporters the Sexual Orientation (Anti-)Discrimination Ordinances, which would grant so-called rights (in reality, more privileges and pre-eminence) to homosexuals and transgenders in the Special Administrative Region.

If anyone has been paying attention to the widespread consequences of the LGBT movement around the world, they know that the LGBT juggernaut brings in its wake more government control and statist sanction, i.e. more tyranny, not less. How many free-thinking individuals in Hong Kong will face persecution, fines, even imprisonment for speaking out against homosexuality and transgenderism?

These behaviors are inherently destructive and deviant, they post untold costs on the public, they undermine human capital, and the harm the political, cultural, and moral legacies of any country.

Why would pro-democracy activists want to undermine the natural rights they seek to enhance?

Jimmy Sham, Hong Kong Gay "Rights" Activist

And of course, there's Jimmy Sham, the militant LGBT activist who has gone to every length to connect the push for democratic governance in Hong Kong with the greater push to normalize and promote the LGBT agenda.

And now look at the strange(r) bedfollows (no pun intended) that Mr. Sham is keeping:
The young man in the featured photo above on the right is Jimmy Sham.

On the left, you can see that the other man is wearing a shirt sporting the headshot of bloodthirsty Communist Ernesto "Che" Guevara.

Why would any pro-democracy activist dare to promote Che Guevara?!

Che Guevara was a pampered, middle-class Argentinian brat who went full commie to make something of himself. He was responsible for unprecedented blooshed and mayhem against freedom-fighters around the world. He was pro-China, pro-Beijing, pro-tyranny.

Don't believe me? Check out this photo:

Che Guevara in the center with Chairman Mao

And here's Che Guevara warmly greeting Mao ZeDong:

Why would any pro-democracy activist in Hong Kong celebrate a communist thug who was friendly with the Chinese Communist Party?! Mao ZeDong is the father and architect of the Chinese Communist Party? Why would any pro-democracy activist celebrate Che Guevara?!

Ernesto "Che" Guevara routinely executed political opponents.

He lived off the work of others, doing nothing for others in return.

He was ultimately executed by firing squard, begging for his life, pleading with them that he was worth more to his "capitalist" captors alive. He was ready to sell out the Communist dream he had fought for for years just to keep himself alive and well.

Che Guevara was certainly no democrat! A ruthless autocrat who imposed the religion of materialist envy and strife on the impoverished island nation of Cuba, Guevara should not be celebrated in any fashion.

Aren't these Hong Kong activists supposed to be against The Communist Party of China? Aren't they supposed to oppose any promotion of Communism? This a sickening display of strange bedfollows, indeed.

The Hong Kong pro-democracy movement is pro-gay and now pro-CHE!

Unreal. Unacceptable. Unconscionable!

People of Hong Kong need to wake up! They need to promote liberty and constitutional rule, meaning that the natural rights of all are protected from both the majority as well as the tyranny of the minority. Democratic governance is nothing more than mob rule when there are no strictures in place to protect the rights of all citizens, nor to ensure that constitutional rule is in place to protect those rights and limit the role of the government.

What we are witnessing in Hong Kong, sadly, is a promotion of demagoguery under the guise of anti-Beijing rebellion. Why rebel against one Communist regime, only to usher in another one?

Judicial LGBT Supremacism in Hong Kong

I have wanted to write this report for some time, discussing how judicial activism, or judicial tyranny, or most explicitly stated judicial supremacism is pushing the LGBT Agenda throughout Southeast Asia. To put it simply, judicial supremacism occurs when courts make policy, write laws under the guise of striking down or invoking policies based on broad readings and renderings of a nation's charter or constitution.

The United States has struggle with this contentious legal and political matter for the last fifty years, although the problems of judicial supremacism emerged with the ruling Marbury v. Madison, in which the United States Supreme Court granted itself the sweeping power of judicial review by denying itself a limited power accorded to it by Congress in the Judiciary Act of 1798.

This contentious problem of Judicial Supremacism has become particularly damaging as LGBT activists and lobbyists have relied extensively on this dubious legal mechanism to advance their narrow, elitist cause at the expense of the rule of law and the will of the voters in different countries.

This has not just been an issue in the United States, either.

In 2018, the Indian Supreme Court struck down Statute 377, which criminalizing indecent, i.e. homosexual acts among men.

This pressure, this incessant lobby to overturn the law had started as early as 1991, and gay activists relied on the court systems, not the legislative process, to effect this change. This is a clear-cut example of judicial tyranny, undermining the moral fabric of a country.

This report catalogues the timeline that lead to the unjust reversal of the 377 statute in India. Here are two notable events in the timeline:

July 2018: A five-judge bench of the supreme court, including chief justice Dipak Misra, begins hearing the petitions filed by Johar and others against section 377. While supporters of the law claim the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and the disintegration of India’s social fabric as reasons to retain it, many of the justices make encouraging comments. “It is not an aberration but a variation,” justice Indu Malhotra says.

Instead of respecting this wise counsel, and pushing back on any attempts to repeal Section 377, the Indian Supreme Court apparently reversed itself, and two months later:

September 2018: In a unanimous verdict, the supreme court decides to scrap section 377, which chief justice Misra describes as ”irrational, indefensible and manifestly arbitrary,” marking a triumphant end to a lengthy struggle for justice.

The only irrational behavior was that the Indian Supreme Court heeded the siren sounds of "equality, fairness, and justice", words which have been mangled and perverted outside of their proper meaning. The LGBT lobby does not care about equality, but rather power and tyranny, at the expense of parents, children, and the nations in which they are pushing for privileges at the expense of everyone else.

This judicial supremacism has not just afflicted India.

It's become quite rampant in Hong Kong, where common law still holds sway, even though the former British Colony has now become a special administrative region under the control of the Chinese Communist Party based in Beijing.

Consider this series of legal cases or "rows" which have emerged in the region:

The Court of Final Appeal has upheld a lower court’s judgment in favour of lesbian expat QT, affirming what legal experts deemed a “landmark decision” for Hong Kong’s LGBTQ community.

In a unanimous judgment handed down Wednesday morning, the court agreed with the Court of Appeal that the differential treatment towards QT – namely denying her a spousal visa on the basis of marital status – amounted to unlawful discrimination.

This decision was rendered in 2018.

The truth is that there needs to be clear-cut discrimination, i.e. natural definition in matters of sex and marriage. Marriage has been and will always be an institution of one man and one way, a clear expression of the bonds of fidelity for establishing civilizing, establishing mores, for rearing children, and for determining a strong and stable moral fabric.

In 2019, the Hong Kong Free Press reported:

A series of archaic laws criminalising certain gay sex acts were struck down as unconstitutional by a Hong Kong judge on Thursday because they only targeted men and were discriminatory.

The ruling is the latest legal victory for Hong Kong’s gay community who have struggled to persuade the pro-Beijing authorities in the international financial hub to allow gay marriage or civil unions.

The liberal press' pro-gay bias glares out conspicuously in the first two paragraphs of this report. It's striking how unprofessional modern journalism has become. Words like "archaic" amount to nothing more than chronological snobbery, as Dr. Thio Li-Ann of Singapore declared in her spirited and effective defense of Section 377 for the Republic of Singapore.

The notion that statutes which criminalize indecent acts between men should not stand simply because the statute targets men is not sufficient cause to throw out the statute. As for the charge of "discrimination", laws by their nature are discriminatory, defining the difference between good and bad, right and wrong, healthy and unhealthy.

This decision is particularly disturbing because the Hong Kong special region had already decriminalized homosexuality in 1991, but then for added measure the LGBT lobbies in Hong Kong insisted on the striking down of the 377 statute in their legal code, as well.

This legal outcome should serve as further evidence that the homosexual and transgender lobbies have no interest in slowing down their efforts. They are not interested in "fairness", but privilege and pre-eminence. Sadly. this is the second of a series of cases decided by the Hong Kong judicial system to accommodate this gross indecency toward the rule of law.

For the record, there is no such thing as a "gay community."

Notice also this false concept of "right to equality." What does that even mean? Equality of results? Equality of reference? Equality of opportunity? Sexual conduct between a man and a woman are not the same as sexual acts--in reality, sexual abuse--between two men or two women. There is no equality there at all, nor should those acts be recognized as equal in any way.

Again, this judicial supremacism growing in Hong Kong must be checked.

Here's the summary of this case:

The Court of Final Appeal has ruled in favour of a gay civil servant applying for spousal benefits for his husband – a major legal victory for Hong Kong’s LGBTQ community.

Angus Leung is an immigration officer who married his husband Scott Adams in New Zealand in 2014. The Civil Service Bureau refused to change Leung’s marital status and grant benefits, such as medical coverage, to his husband, and Leung filed a judicial review in 2015.

Aside from the natural fact that men cannot have husbands, regardless of any pronouncement from any government, this is a clear affront to the home-rule of Hong Kong. Other gay activists are engaging in similar perverse legal shenanigans to normalize homosexual relationships. Hong Kong citizens marry their same-sex partners in another country, then with that "legal" status in place, they demand all the privileges which come with marital status.

Hong Kong Gay Couple in Benefits Row

Here's the problem: from Common Law established by Magna Carta, to the very Judeo-Christian principles which established marriage as an institution, there is no possible recognition for marriage other than as the union of one man and one woman.

It's nonsensical that any court could rule that the corruption of the marriage bed, as recognized in one nation, should then impose itself on Hong Kong or any other jurisdiction.

In this case, Hong Kong judges ruled wisely and properly.

A Hong Kong court on Friday upheld a government policy which denies civil partnerships to same-sex couples.

In the city’s first-ever case on civil partnerships, the Court of First Instance ruled against the woman applicant – known only as MK. She filed a legal challenge against the government last June, arguing that the ban on same-sex civil partnerships was unconstitutional.

It seems very strange that the courts are currently drawing lines between same-sex couples formed in other countries versus same-sex couples from Hong Kong who seek legal recognition in their own government.

So-called same-sex partnerships should not be recognized regardless of their legal status or orgin. Sadly, this kind of legal conflict will create problems for Hong Kong's judiciary in the near future. Hopefully, wiser minds will prevail and strike down the unmerited, immoral privileges which previous court rulings have unjustly conferred on other homosexual couples.

The biased editorializing in the title alone is just disgusting. It's also poor English, since policies or government directives cannot be "homophobic" or display any other kind of irrational fear.

Furthemore, opposition to homosexual conduct is not a mental disorder, nor is it a mental ailment which must be treated. On the contrary, a society, a culture which prizes decency and health will oppose the promotion and adoption of homosexual behaviors and ideologies.

As for the ruling itself, here are the basic elements of the matter:

The High Court has said that a Housing Authority policy that prevents same-sex couples who married abroad from applying for public housing is unconstitutional and unlawful.

On Wednesday, the Court of Appeal ruled that the Spousal Policy violated the equal protection Hong Kong residents enjoy before the law, as well as the prohibition of discrimination as detailed in the Basic Law and the Bill of Rights Ordinance. The applicant of the judicial review, 26-year-old Hong Kong permanent resident Nick Infinger, filed the case in November 2018 – two months after the Authority’s rejection of his application for a family public housing tenancy with his partner.

Once again, the Hong Kong court ruling misapplies and distorts the concept of equality. Marriage by its very nature is not about equality, but mutual respect and submission. As an institution, the marriage sacrament--more than a mere contract or compact--protects the beautiful and essential union of one man and one woman.

This issue of "equal protection" as brought forth in this case is unduly troubling, as well. "Equal protection" in what way, exactly? It's as though the judges in this case by their own supremacism are drawing up entirely new meanings for words and language presented in the legislative text.

The courts in Hong Kong have overstepped their bounds. Tragically, they are adopting the unacceptable deviations which have become all to prevalent in other Common Law based and/or Commonwealth countries around the world.

This is a disturbing trend, Judicial Supremacism, which the people of Hong Kong, and citizens in every other country around the world must resist at all costs. Judges who can decide what laws mean are essential passing laws as they see fit, without respect or regard for the will of the voters or the spirit of the laws enacted by the communal exercise of free citizens in their countries.

Is There Hope?

Fortunately, by many accounts a constitutionalist Christian will be serving on the Hong Kong Supreme Court very soon. The South China Morning Post reports:

Mr. Justice Andrew Cheung

Mr Justice Andrew Cheung Kui-nung will be Hong Kong’s next top judge, the city’s leader said on Tuesday, as she praised him as a man of “high integrity” and “exceptional qualities”.

But Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor said the appointment would need to be endorsed by the Legislative Council, and expressed concern it could be delayed by political wrangling.

Opposition lawmakers have prevented the Legco’s agenda-setting House Committee from electing a chairman for the past six months.

Cheung, 58, who is a permanent judge of the Court of Final Appeal, will become the chief justice from January 11 next year, succeeding Geoffrey Ma Tao-li, who has served in the top post for more than a decade and will soon turn 65.

A number of Hong Kongers have informed me that this appointment is good news for the pro-family movement in particular, and for the rule of law in general. A similar development has been taking place in the United States, as a new slate of federal judges, nominated by President Donald J. Trump, have all received strong endorsements from The Federalist Society, a conservative non-profit organization committed to restoring Constitutional supremacy to the United States federal judiciary.

Perhaps a similar move of pro-family activism within the Legislative Council of Hong Kong will ensure that future lawyers and judges restore a right recognition of natural law as expressed in the Law of Nations and Common Law, which include an unshakable regard for marriage as a union of one man and one woman.

The Marxist LGBT Folly of Hong Kong Democracy Activist Joshua Wong

A pro-family contact got in touch with me following our victory in getting the Hong Kong Gay Pride parade cancelled this past weekend.

Sadly, Hong Kong still permitted a pro-gay assembly. Thankfully, it was poorly attended, with about 1,000 people showing up. It was very bad, too--not just morally, but artistically (More on that later).

My contact was surprised to learn that the pro-LGBT lobby is working hand-in-hand with the pro-democracy movement and protesters.

I showed him a few articles, but let me outline for everyone that the young face of the Hong Kong Pro-Democracy movement openly embraced the LGBT Agenda.

Time Magazine wrote a horrific article promoting this young activist, while denigrating his father, who is the most vocal and well-connected pro-family activist in Hong Kong.

The young activist's name? Joshua Wong.

As early as 2016, Time Magazine published the following about Joshua Wong:

"Homophobic" has turned into a nonsensical smear. Such a headline shows how far Time Magazine has fallen in terms of journalistic quality. Of course, the lack of ideological rigor displayed by Joshua Wong and fellow democracy activists is even more disconcerting.

The article continues:

The 20-year-old poster boy of Hong Kong democracy, Joshua Wong, has distanced himself from his father Roger Wong, who has launched an online campaign against an initiative ... to promote awareness of LGBT rights.

...

The younger Wong became a leader of the 2014 Hong Kong democracy protests, known as the Umbrella Revolution, when he was just shy of his 18th birthday, appearing on the cover of TIME. He has since become a globe-trotting activist, meeting members of U.S. Congress and rallying Asia’s youth to demand more democratic governance.

How can anyone seek democratic governance when bowing to an autocratic agenda, i.e. the LGBT Lobby?

He is also the founder of a socially progressive political party, Demosistō, which on its website calls for passage of an antidiscrimination law, recognition of same-sex unions and legal protections for transgender people. The party has pushed for Hong Kong to enact a law called the Sexual Orientation Discrimination Ordinance (SODO), which, if passed, would be a milestone for the semiautonomous Chinese city, as it presently offers no explicit protections for sexual minorities.

Notice Joshua on the left.

Same-sex unions, Legal protections of transgenderism, and a non-discrimination ordinance for so-called sexual minorities. This is pretty disturbing stuff. In fact, the Democratic Majority pushed a similar set of policies in the "Equality Act", which would have gutted the Civil Rights Act of 1964, turning destructive behaviors into protected classes. The clash between individual liberties and religious sentiment against LGBT propaganda would have been harsh and detrimental to ... the general citizenry which value freedom of speech, religion, assembly, and all the rest.

Demosistō aims to achieve democratic self-determination in Hong Kong. Through direct action, popular referenda, and non-violent means, we push for the city’s political and economic autonomy from the oppression of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and capitalist hegemony.

Notice how they not only want to deal with communistic oppression, but "capitalist hegemony."

Say what? They have a problem with free markets? Free enterprise? Do they also have a problem with free people, too? It sure sounds like Joshua has been listening more to Bernie Sanders rather than Milton Friedman orn even Stamford Raffles (the colonial founder of Singapore)!

How can this group oppose communist China, but basically embrace the same follies that "Too few have too much money"? That is the pretext for the statement "capitalist hegemony". In fact, capitalist hegemony is a Marxist term!

Right away, we see a pro-democracy movement which is really another form of communism, or socialism, or ultimately collectivism.

And it gets worse.

“Me personally, I support this,” Joshua Wong tells TIME.

Joshua supports the LGBT Movement and the LGBT Agenda. He believes that sexual deviance should be treated as a civil right. Whether anyone wishes to accept this or not, the whole LGBT Identity is another form of Marxism, cultural Marxism, and nothing more.

Consider his alliance with the pro-LGBT Russian punk bad, which has been causing all kinds of unnecessary, immoral uproars in their own country:

LGBT rights? Really? Has Joshua Wong been paying attention to what has happened to law-abiding citizens in the United Kingdom, Canada, and even some parts of the United States?

How can Joshua claim to support freedom, democracy, and the undermining of communism, while pushing the cultural Marxist folly of LGBT privileges?

Here's another article showcasing Joshua's support for sexual perversion, especially in conflict with his pro-family father:

Activist Joshua Wong expressed his support for the legislation of a sexual orientation discrimination law on Wednesday after his father spoke out against LGBTQ equality in a magazine interview.

Wong’s father, Roger Wong, is the convenor of the anti-gay Family School Sexual Orientation Discrimination Ordinance Concern Group. He was profiled by Next Magazine on Wednesday, speaking against the introduction of protections for the LGBTQ community.

Joshua doubled down on this immoral insanity:

Joshua Wong responded in a Wednesday evening Facebook post, which cited and shared the magazine article: “I support LGBTQ equality, and I support the legislation of a Sexual Orientation Discrimination Ordinance. I understand very clearly what law is being discussed. It is not up to other people to judge whether I have understood it or thought it through,” Wong wrote.

Joshua's push for LGBT equality means that he wants inequality for everyone else in Hong Kong, it's as simple as that. The LGBT Lobby has never ceased in its demands for more rights, more recognition, more privileges. The whole agenda is rooted in the tyranny of the minority, as they are a tightly-knit political force which has never shied away from a fight to push their special rights. Those who do not kowtow to LGBT face shame, recrimination, termination from employment, even civil and criminal penalities. This is not democracy. This is not freedom. This is evil.

Consider the ominous warning of British Historian, himself a young radical in his earlier days much like Joshua Wong today:

"Decriminalisation made it possible for homosexuals to organise openly into a powerful lobby, and it thus became a mere platform from which further demands were launched. Next followed demands for equality, in which homosexuality was officially placed on the same moral level as standard forms of sexuality, and dismissal of identified homosexuals from sensitive positions, for instance in schools, children’s homes, etc., became progressively more difficult.

This was followed in turn by demands not merely for equality but privilege: the appointment, for instance, of homosexual quotas in local government, the excision from school textbooks and curricula, and university courses, passages or books or authors they found objectionable, special rights to proselytise, and not least the privilege of special programmes to put forward their views – including the elimination of the remaining legal constraints – on radio and television.:

Rights for homosexuals and transgenders inevitably tramples on the natural rights of all. Creating special rights by state force is just another form of communism, nothing more.

It's really sad to see a budding democracy movement bend over to another tyrannical lobby. Joshua Wong chose poorly, most likely because he wanted to tap into the latent, prevalent militancy of the homosexual-transgender lobby in Hong Kong.

This alliance has cost the region dearly, and what Hong Kongers will end up with is more communism, more tyranny, less liberty, no matter what the outcome may be. Whether they succeed in getting their Five Demands, or the Beijing Mainland government comes down hard on Hong Kong, cultural and/or political Marxism is expected to have an extended say in the daily affairs of the Island nation. Indeed, what Marxist folly!

Jimmy Sham, Hong Kong's LGBT Sham?

Jimmy Sham is a vocal, prominent LGBT Activist in Hong Kong.

He has been pushing gay "rights" for quite some time in the region, hoping to promote himself for higher office, too. In fact, he is running for the legislative Yuan, making the promotion of sexual perversion a prominent matter.

Indeed, he is openly gay, and he "married" another man in New York State in 2014. This is how the agenda is pushing their sexual perversion. They go to "gay friendly" locations, get "married", and then return to their home countries to sue in court and demand equal recognition for their fraud.

This is just awful. The LGBT movement around the world has been knocking down moral limitations and protections just to push their own agenda, to demand acceptance at all costs, and to shut down anyone who gets in their way.

This whole promotion of sexual perversion and deviance has taken over the pro-democracy rallies and protests in Hong Kong, too.

Well, he was supposedly attacked in the middle of October by pro-government thugs:

Here's a photo following the attack:

Check out the local paramedics bandaged him up:

OK ....

Then check out what he looked like the NEXT DAY:

His hair looks pretty nice, doesn't it?

And the damage that moved the medical personnel to bandage up his entire forehead? Well, it's now just a small patch, and it's hovering over his hairline, so it seems.

Hmm ...

Now check him out hosting the Hong Kong Gay Assembly (because the city shut down the gay pride parade):

Well, well, well ...

Jimmy Sham healed pretty quickly, didn't he?

Independent viewers on social media, however, suspect otherwise:

OK, this tweet suggests that it's a government plot to smear Jimmy Sham, to claim that he faked the attack.

But wait! Check this out:

Sham healed awfully fast, didn't he?

Or, perhaps his attack was a total ... sham!

Here's the full description of Sham's attack:

The CHRF [Civil Human Rights Front, Sham's LGBT activist organization] said he was set upon by a group of up to five hammer-wielding men in the Mong Kok district of the Kowloon peninsula, and left with head injuries.

It added that he was conscious as he was taken to hospital, and was in a stable condition.

He was attacked by five men with hammers. That's pretty serious.

And yet, the damage he sustained seems to have healed away pretty quickly.

Too quickly.

This should not surprise anyone. Homosexual activists are notorious for staging fake attacks against themselves to succor sympathy from the public.

Jussie Smollet, After Arrest for Filing False Report (NPR)

Jussie Smollet is the most notorious example. An openly gay actor who was trying to get a higher salary, he claimed that two MAGA protesters assaulted him in Chicago in the dead of night. When he reported this crime, the police found him in his apartment with a noose around his neck.

Following further investigation in the matter, it became clear that Smollet had colluded with two other black men to perpetrated a fake hate crime. Sadly, the Chicago DA didn't even bother to prosecute this perverse disregard for the rule of law, or the well-being of police officers and their resources.

Earlier this year, New York lesbian activist Nikki Joly burned her own home and issued a false report, claiming that anti-gay forces torched her home to intimidate her. The investigation later revealed that she had burned her home, and thus burned the police, and she was held to answer for some serious felonies afterwards.

Andy Ngo, a journalist who lives a gay lifestyle, documented a number of fake hate crimes emerging in Portland, Oregon. Incidentally enough, he was viciously attacked on camera, and reported multiple injuries, including brain trauma. To this day, no one has been held accountable.

The first celebrated case of anti-gay crime in the United States had to do with Wyoming youth Matthew Shepard. The mainstream media ate up this narrative that Shepard was murdered because he was gay. The incident had occurred in 1998, when there were no hate crime statutes to enhance punishments against those who murdered homosexuals.

Hardcover The Book of Matt : Hidden Truths about the Murder of Matthew Shepard Book
Matthew Shepard was no victim of a hate crime.
besides hating his own body

A recent book written by journalist Stephen Jimenez, however, indicates that Shepard was murdered following some intense, meth-fueled altercations with his lover. It was not a bunch of rednecks pursuing Matthew because he was abusing his body with another man. The whole thing was a media fraud--a fake hate crime, a total SHAM!

Image result for "Hate Crime Hoax" book"
There's so much hate crime hoaxing against gays
TOO MUCH

In fact, one scholar wrote a book "Hate Crime Hoax", in which he details that of the numerous claimed hate crimes against homosexuals and transgenders, only 1in 3 turn out to be true!

So, it's not far-fetched at all that Mr. Jimmy Sham lived up to his namesake and faked the crime against him.

The rapid healing certainly suggests that there is so much wrong about the whole incident. Look at the photo of him lying on the street:

His left arm and hand are placed almost as though he's posing for the camera. The blood spilled on the ground would suggest some considerable trauma. However, the photos of him in the hospital suggest that the trauma, if any, was rather quite light.

Or did not happen at all.

Jimmy Sham, Hong Kong's LGBT Sham? Certainly worth looking into.

MassResistance Moves to Hong Kong!

Hong Kong MassResistance – our newest chapter! Taking on the “gay marriage” fight in their country.

Also part of the battle: how the gov't defines "transgender"

August 21 2017
Chinese version of the MassResistance video "What gay 'marriage' did to Massachusetts is shown to parishioners at a Catholic Mass in Hong Kong.
Our newest MassResistance chapter, Hong Kong MassResistance, is off and running! Led by a Catholic priest and a core group of eight veteran Hong Kong pro-family activists, they held their initial meeting on July 15 in Kowloon.
There are serious concerns and fears in Hong Kong that the LGBT movement has targeted the country to force “gay marriage” there, followed by the rest of their agenda in the society and schools.

The core group of Hong Kong MassResistance at their inagural meeting on July 15.
In general, Hong Kong is very socially conservative – much more so than Britain, which controlled it until recently and established its social and political institutions. Marriage is strictly one man and one woman, and the government now vigorously supports that.
But much of the media there has become aggressively liberal, and is working to help push the LGBT movement. This has upset many people, and was an impetus for forming the Hong Kong MassResistance chapter.

The “gay marriage” fight in the Hong Kong courts

The big threat in Hong Kong right now is “gay marriage.” The LGBT movement knows it cannot win through government action or public opinion. So they are trying to force it through the courts – as they did in the US and recently in Taiwan.
However, the courts in Hong Kong do not appear to have the powers to broadly change the country’s laws, completely unchecked, as done in the US. The other branches of the government can decide to use appeals and other methods to thwart blatantly activist courts.
Thus, the LGBT movement’s strategy has been to push hard to attack relatively small marriage issues that could be used to bring “gay marriage” into the country using legal technicalities.
For example, two recent cases involved minor issues meant to push eventual ‘gay marriage’:
  • A Hong Kong man who had a “sex change” operation was allowed to change his government identification to female. He then tried to marry another man. He went to court and initially lost. But in 2013, an Appeals Court ruled that the marriage should be allowed, given the current ambiguity in the law. But the ruling was put on hold until the law on “gender recognition” could be better defined by the legislature. (This also points to another issue Hong Kong MassResistance realizes it must take on: so-called “transgender rights.”)
  • A homosexual Hong Kong government bureaucrat went to New Zealand and “married” his boyfriend. He then tried applied to get Hong Kong government spousal benefits for his “husband”, and was denied because of Hong Kong’s law defining marriage. A court ruled in his favor. But the government is appealing that ruling.
The LGBT movement is clearly fighting hard to advance their agenda.

As a result, there is a move to alert the population to the dangers of “gay marriage” and get the government to tighten the laws and become even more aggressive about defending these cases in court. Also, there needs to be pressure put on the government as it moves to define “gender recognition” regarding the “transgender marriage” case.
Hong Kong MassResistance recognizes that we need to get involved with these issues.

Special Hong Kong version of MassResistance marriage video

Unlike the rest of China and Taiwan which speaks Mandarin Chinese, the people of Hong Kong speak the Cantonese dialect of Chinese. Both dialects use the same Chinese characters, but the words sound much different. Therefore, a special Cantonese version of the MassResistance video, “What gay marriage has done to Massachusetts,” was created for Hong Kong. (There is also a Mandarin version of our video that is used in Taiwan.)

The Cantonese version of our MassResistance video "What 'gay' marriage did to Massachusetts." In the dubbed video, Brian Camenker (above) speaks Chinese! Watch the video here.

Getting the truth out!

On May 27 and 28, Hong Kong MassResistance showed the video to 400 people at three Catholic Masses. They will also be promoting the video in Hong Kong Catholic newspapers. In addition to that, of course, they are promoting the video across the country.
The HK-MR core group will meet again this month and work on plans to expand their reach and discuss coordinating with other groups, and strategies to be as effective as possible. They are also designing an official Hong Kong MassResistance logo – appropriately with the text in both Chinese and English.

The Hong Kong MassResistance group is a great addition to the worldwide battle! We will keep you informed on their progress.
