George Miller of "Citizen Journal" Explains the Further Failure of Recall 2021

A few of my thoughts expressed to some friends today...

Our condolences to our patriotic friends in CA who will have to continue to be subjected to Gov Nuisance and his insane, toxic policies. I predicted the failure of the recall and that gave me no joy. In fact it is one more reason that we became political refugees from CA to FL.

Even without election fraud, which is significant, Newscum would have won, because the left has a supermajority, reinforced by decades of propaganda from the education bureaucracy, media, NGO's and political parties, as well as the influx of millions of illegal immigrants, people's desire for "free" stuff, erosion of the rule of constitutional law and more. Some good news is that Larry Elder is now more well-known and famous than ever.

Look for more Agenda 21 nonsense, higher crime, taxes, decay, deficits. It will be even worse now that they have turned back the biggest challenge to the secular progressive oligarchy in decades.

After 41 years we bailed out of CA. We just don't see it turning around in our limited time left on Earth. We did what we could to stop the fall of the state and might have even slowed that down a smidgen. I won't discourage others from continuing the fight, especially younger ones who are more likely to survive to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

If I had stayed in CA, my next step would have been massive resistance to the unconstitutional/illegal actions of govt. Since not enough people are prepared to do that at this time, it would have been hard on the few that did. So, I figure I would have been dead or imprisoned within 2 years- and for what?

Looking back at the example of the American Revolution, it only occurred when the movers and shakers had had enough and developed first the rhetoric, then the means to take control, with only 20% of the population behind them. USA movers and shakers are so sclerotic or compromised by the system that they can't and won't lead us out of this mess. It would have to be done by relative unknowns and upstarts in sufficient numbers to constitute a critical mass,

As you can already see, such upstarts are being demonized, mocked and fought every step of the way by the same elite who should be fighting the negative forces affecting our society.

Yes indeed. [This recall failure is] the result of permitting NWO fascist secular progressives to run a state larger than most countries, unchecked.

Regards,

George Miller

Larry Elder WINS Lawsuit!

BREAKING: WE WON OUR LAWSUIT!

Huge news, Arthur!

We won our lawsuit against the California Secretary of State and are back on the governor ballot in the recall election!

This is a huge victory for voting rights, democracy, our campaign, you and for California! Now we need to push forward to recall Gavin Newsom and win the race for governor.

Will you rush $25, $50, $100 or more to help us celebrate this victory and push forward to save our state?

Thanks,

Larry Elder

P.S. Democrats tried to rig this system against us and even tried to keep us off the ballot. They failed and right has prevailed. Now it's time to take back California and end these abuses of power. Chip in to support my fight today.

Yes, John Cox Can Become California's Next Governor

Brian Harrington is helping out Orange County candidates.

He outlined below why John Cox and other statewide Republican candidates can win:

It’s happened else where, as blue states turn to Republicans to get their fiscal mess in order.
Everyone “knows” that a Republican like John Cox can’t be elected Governor in California because the state is just too blue, right?

Well, the people of Maryland, Massachusetts, Illinois, or Maine might not know that. Each of those states elected a Republican governor even though they are as blue, or even bluer, than California.

In Maine, Republican Governor Paul LePage has taken incredible steps to enact effect policies and reforms. The state has constitutional carry, comprehensive welfare reforms. First Amendment rights are respected and protected once again.

The last major poll from Sabato's Crystal Ball for Maine's Governor race shows the contest as a toss-up. It's very likely that another Republican will succeed Paul LePage! Let's see how things turn out.

Conventional wisdom was wrong in these other states for the same reason it is wrong in California. Voters there didn’t elect a Republican politician, they elected an outside businessman who happened to be a Republican.

Yes. I did vote for Travis Allen, but I have no problem with John Cox, especially since he won a considerable amount of voter support and has the money to combat statewide.

This is going to be good!

That’s just what John Cox is. He’s not a politician, he’s a successful businessman who has personally created hundreds of jobs and will right California’s fiscal ship, starting with repealing the gas tax that is killing the state’s middle class. And Cox will force the left-wing legislature to curb profligate spending.

Yes. Let's also hope that Cox will curb the other extravagant lawlessness coming out of Sacramento, too.

Raised by a single mom when his father abandoned the family, Cox pulled himself out of poverty and put himself through college in two and a half years before embarking on a highly successful career in business. But he never forgot his roots on the south side of Chicago, where entrenched bureaucrats who owed their positions to cronyism and corruption ran government as they do now in California. It inspired a lifelong commitment to fighting corruption and cronyism, something at the heart of his current run for Governor which both Newt Gingrich and President Trump have endorsed.

These endorsements carried considerable weight, especially from President Trump. That endorsement made all the difference. At first, I was shocked and outraged. Cox did not support President Trump in 2016. Yet Trump is considering the crucial importance of his agenda and the House of Representatives. If there was no Republican at the top of the ticket for California's elections, the down-ticket would have suffered terribly.

Unlike John Cox, Gavin Newsom inspires little confidence as a leader. As a prominent journalist has noted, Newsom is “the living embodiment of privilege.”

Where are all the liberal SJWs to blast his white privilege? Why aren't they demanding Gas Tax Gavin to spread the wealth?!

Blessed with deep family connections to the wealthy, powerful, and politically connected, Newsom was gifted with a gilded path in life. Possessed of good looks, Gavin pursued politics, where he could perform for the cameras and pontificate from on high. As in life, his political path was facilitated by privilege and patronage, having been appointed to both the San Francisco Parking Commission and the Board of Supervisors by Willie Brown, who also engineered his election as Mayor.

Gavin Newsom has never worked a day in his life. He has no business serving as our Governor. This guy missed 2/3 of his meetings as Lieutenant Governor for the last 8 years. Shameful.

Though he has enjoyed public attention, Newsom has not been fond of doing the hard work of a public officeholder. As Lieutenant Governor, Newsom missed as many as two-thirds of the public board and commission meetings he was supposed to attend and once told an interviewer he only went to work in Sacramento “one day a week, tops… It’s just so dull.”

Now Gavin Newsom, this son of privilege, wants a promotion. Worse, he thinks he’s entitled to it.

And he's not.

While Cox has been readily accessible to the public, Newsom has essentially hidden from it, appearing only at carefully crafted friendly venues where he can avoid answering tough questions. Newsom’s hometown, San Francisco — once a crown jewel of not just the state but the nation — continues to descend into slum-like conditions with streets crowded by drug addicts and the homeless which can be traced directly to his “leadership.” Property crimes have skyrocketed. Nearly a quarter million needles and syringes are picked up from the streets there every month. Human waste is piled up all over the city. Understandably, visitors are pledging to never return and conventions are being canceled because of the crime and filth.

San Francisco is a shit-hole, and Gavin Newsom is a big part of it.

With such a failed record of leadership, it’s no wonder that Newsom is dodging needed public debates with John Cox. He is counting on Democrats to cast a reflexive vote for him as the Democratic candidate even though he is untested and will surely sign backbreaking legislation that even Jerry Brown wouldn’t touch. Newsom could literally send the state over the fiscal cliff, particularly with Gov. Brown quietly whispering that California is headed for a recession. The state created only 800 jobs last month.

When we protested Gavin Newsom's visit to Tustin, a grant total of 40 people showed up. It was sad. There were just about as many people protesting Gavin Newsom as there were people going there to celebrate the creep.

John Cox has proven himself to be a winner, having vanquished the state’s former Superintendent of Public Instruction, the state’s Treasurer and a former Mayor of Los Angeles, all Democrats who between them and their allies spent nearly $40 million opposing him. Cox beat them all, and he’s pledged to spend the resources needed to defeat Gavin Newsom this Autumn.

These are sound assessments. John Chiang got taken down like a boss, along with Antonio Villaraigosa and Delaine Eastman. They all played the race card in their vain hopes of winning another top spot to ruin the state of California.

The race for Governor of California will be a spirited contest between John Cox, a self-made businessman and dedicated political reformer, and Gavin Newsom, a child of privilege who thinks he’s entitled to the office. All the ingredients are in place for California to shock the nation come November, as other blue states have recently done, by electing a Republican businessman who will attack problems with genuine, potent solutions. Voters know that California is at a crossroads, and they want a genuine leader who actually has the chops to fix the problem. That man is John Cox.

Final Reflection

Two polls show John Cox gaining on Gavin Newsom. He has achieved an even parity with Newsom among Hispanic voters, many of whom are hurt disproportionately about Sacramento Democrat policies.

Cox can win this, and we need to support him.

Election 2018: Travis Allen Ahead in the Polls ... Again!

Travis Allen is the best man for Governor in the 2018 race to replace Governor Moonbeam.

John Cox is too liberal, with a record that shows more political expediency than courage.

It is essential that we have real leadership in California, a state where political courage is as rare as water in Death Valley.

Check out his latest eblast regarding the state of the race going forward:

Travis Allen for Governor

LATEST POLL HAS ME LEADING JOHN COX
Arthur,

Richard Baris at Big Data Poll -- recognized as the "most accurate pollster of 2016" -- just released a new poll showing me as the leading Republicanin the race for Governor of California.

The poll also shows me in a virtual tie for second place, and I need your help to ensure Republicans 1) have a candidate in the November election, and 2) have a candidate who can WIN the November election.

Will you chip in $10, $25, $50 or even more right now to help boost me solidly into the top two?

John Cox has run for office and failed FOUR TIMES! We can't afford to let him fail again -- not with so much on the line.

I'm the only Republican in the race for Governor who has not only proven he can win elections, but can win in California.

As Richard Baris states in the poll results: "With the level of enthusiasm among his voters as high as it is, Travis Allen would surpass Antonio Villaraigosa if Republicans coalesced behind him."

I need your help winning the California Republican Party endorsement and unifying all Republicans around this campaign if we're going to have any chance of winning this election and saving California.

Republicans will meet in San Diego this weekend to vote on an endorsement, absentee voting begins next week, and Election Day is just over a month away.

NOW is the time to act, Arthur -- are you with me?!

Please chip in $10, $25, $50 or whatever you can to help me win this race and take back California!

Sincerely,

Assemblyman Travis Allen

Sacramento County, CA – Today, the Travis Allen for Governor campaign announced the endorsement of taxpayer advocate and Board of Equalization Chairwoman Diane Harkey.

“Travis Allen has long record of fighting to help taxpayers keep Sacramento politicians out of their pockets. As Governor he will ensure Californians are able to hold onto more of their hard earned wages and work to stop California’s constant tax increases,” commented Diane Harkey.

This announcement comes after this week’s announcement of key Republican Legislators from across the state. These members include: Senate Leader Pat Bates, Assemblyman Bill Brough (R-Dana Point), Assemblyman Phillip Chen (R-Brea), Assemblyman Steven Choi (R-Irvine), Assemblyman James Gallagher (R-Yuba City), Assemblyman Matthew Harper (R-Huntington Beach), Assemblyman Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale), Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez (R-Lake Elsinore), Assemblyman Jay Obernolte (R-Big Bear), Assemblyman Jim Patterson (R-Fresno), Assemblyman Randy Voepel (R-Santee), Senator Joel Anderson (R-El Cajon), Senator Mike Morell (R-Rancho Cucamonga), and Senator Jeff Stone (R-Temecula).

The Daily Breeze: "The Long-Shot Gubernatorial Bid of David Hadley"

Why is the Torrance Daily Breeze all over former Assemblyman David Hadley's probing bid for Governor?

1. He was a long-shot candidate for state assembly in 2014--and he won.

Believe me, it was the capstone on a great night for Republicans across the country, even in California.

2. He voted like a moderate in a state which has gone center-left, and even then those on the center-left feel left behind by the left.

3. He accomplished some welcome, much-needed reforms in Sacramento.

4. He was "outside of the political machine", and demonstrated considerable independence from politics as usual in Sacramento.

5. And he's a South Bay resident.

6. Oh, and they endorsed him in 2014 and 2016.

OK, it makes sense that the local newspaper would want to talk about David Hadley.

By Nick Green, Daily Breeze

Are we going to get anything substantive out of this report?

I am beginning to wonder if

Manhattan Beach businessman David Hadley, who upset Democrat Al Muratsuchi in the 66th Assembly District two years ago before losing a rematch last fall, is weighing an even more unlikely political bid — a run for governor in a state where Republicans are increasingly an endangered species.

But why is this bid for Governor so unlikely?

It's not due to the Republican brand, which is facing some deep problems in the state of California.

The fault lies with Prop 14, which needs to be repealed, every word of it, just like Obamacare. The Top Two jungle primary, ushered in because of Prop 14, is hurting Republicans and third-party contenders in worse ways than anyone could ever imagine.

The Democratic Party has locked up all the special interests in the state of California. Add to that the voter fraud and illegal alien voting, and the massive amnesty-pandering protesters, and behold the perfect storm for hyper-Democratic destruction.

One former assemblyman did not hold back his bile about California's future. He simply accepts that the state will have to collapse under its overabundant welfarism, cronyism, and fraud. UGH!

Hadley, 52, has formed an exploratory committee to test the waters for a 2018 attempt to succeed Gov. Jerry Brown, a race that already has attracted some heavyweights on the Democratic side of the aisle. He said he will make a decision in the next couple of months.

My prediction--he is going to back out. The "Republican" heavyweights in this state will line up behind John Chiang, also of Torrance, while Gavin Newsom will further brandish is uber-liberal credentials to become the next Governor of California. A Newsom administration will be an absolute nuisance for California--is there any way to stop him?

Darry Sragow, an adjunct assistant professor of political science at USC, said given the overwhelming edge in state political registration Democrats enjoy — 3.7 million more than the GOP — it would appear unlikely Hadley could pull off a second unlikely victory.

Notice that Mr. Sragow is listed as a professor of political science, and from USC. To the Trojans' credit, they accurately predicted that Trump would have the edge over Hillary Clinton on Election Day.

Then again, "unlikely" rests in the eyes of the beholder, does it not?

I wish that Hadley's chances were more than unlikely, even though he is not my first choice for a Republican as governor.

“It’s pretty tough in 2016 if you’re a moderate Republican,” said Sragow, a veteran Democratic political consultant. “His loss in 2016 was arguably fresh evidence of that. The odds are overwhelmingly against him. This isn’t Republican territory. This isn’t Trump territory.”

Now see how the newspaper refers to Sragow as a "veteran political consultant."

So which is it? And what is this man teaching the young charges in his classroom?

Notice also how this political consultant outlined that California is not Republican territory, then divided "Republican" from Trump. Then there's another problem: why does a newspaper care what a DEMOCRATIC consultant has to say about a Republican candidate for any office?

How about asking a Republican consultant? They do exist in the state of California, even if they do a better job of making money for themselves than getting Republicans elected to office ...

Hadley declined to endorse either Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton for the presidency last year; he wrote an editorial for the Daily Breeze that contended both were unfit to hold the nation’s highest elective office.

That was a strategic mistake, in that many potential volunteers sat out his re-election bid in 2016. Lets not forget that the AD-66 Central Committee Chairman Janice Webb tried to pressure me to cancel the Latinos For Trump meeting in October 2016 because "the meeting itself is a problem."

What is the matter with some of these Republicans in California? They spend more time reading the biased narratives in the press or playing nice with Democrats, only to keep losing. This approach is not working, yet I fear that David Hadley just wants to go along with this pattern of thinking.

‘THE ADULT IN THE ROOM’

In an interview, Hadley said he would emphasize his moderate leanings if he throws his hat in the ring for statewide office.

"Moderate leanings"--really?

I would agree that his views on key issues helped bring some balance to the state of California.

“If I choose to pursue this, my message is that first I’m going to be the adult in the room,” he said, borrowing a phrase from his previous campaigns. “I’m going to bring independence. I’m going to bring a bipartisan spirit. I’m going to bring a track record of having worked well across the aisle with both parties.”

Sadly, when I hear "adult in the room", the phrase conjures up for me images of "Low Energy" Jeb or Kreepy Kasich, who were more interested in hugging the center and making nice with center-left interests on key issues.

We don't need more "adults" who want to look nice for the camera and make nice with destructive interests hurting our state and our way of life.

Republican accomplishments are few in the Democrat-dominated Legislature.

But Hadley some welcome accomplishments. He got a school choice bill passed, and he helped usher though civil asset forfeiture reform, too. For the record, Democratic accomplishments are few and far between, especially if one counts the higher taxes and spending, the crumbling infrastructure, and the cultural corruption and malaise which have become staples of liberal Democratic dominance in the state of California.

“I’ve proven that my style and my views and my willingness to engage with people, whether I agree with them or not, appeals to Republicans, to Democrats, independents,” he said. “I can truly be a uniting kind of political figure, not a polarizing type of leader.”

Not sure about that anymore. Democrats in Sacramento are all invested in unity--for their own regressive causes. They do not play nice. They do not want to play along in any way, and why should they? After all, they hold all the political cards in Sacramento at this time.

And if Republicans don't wake up to this dangerous fact, they may be scuttled away into complete irrelevance forever.

SEARCHING FOR A BASE

But it’s unclear whether Hadley has any kind of base in the current political climate, Sragow said.

“If he’s Republican and he abandons Trump, then he’s forfeiting the conservative Republican base,” he said. “The Republican base isn’t enough (anyway). And converting increasing numbers of independent voters and solid Democrats is very difficult, especially with Donald Trump as president.”

Newsflash, Democratic consultant: Hadley abandoned Trump in 2016. I don't see him reversing that trend in 2018.

Earlier this month, Republican businessman and former presidential candidate John Cox announced he would run for governor.

Now I'm reading about John Cox?

Why am I suddenly reading about John Cox? What does this have to do with David Hadley? There is no transition, no indication that the writer was going to write in another direction. Nick Green is not the stylist one would expect him to be. The writer also forgot to mention Rosie Greer, Laura Smith, and Dr. Robert Newman, among others.

Democrats hoping to succeed Brown include such political heavy hitters as Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, a former mayor of San Francisco; state Treasurer John Chiang, a Torrance resident; and former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti also is rumored to be considering a bid.

This is all very funny and very sad at the same time. Is it possible that so many Democrats will be pulling each other apart that a Republican can sneak though? I am not so sure at this point.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Wow, Nick ... can't you at least write something of substance on your own? Can't you? At all?

David Hadley for Governor of California?

Now this is something new!

I found this interesting article in the Los Angeles Times ...

David Hadley for ... Governor?

Perspective is essential, of course. He has filed an exploratory committee.

Whether Hadley officially throws his hat in the ring or not--he will still have to determine.

Hadley, who served one term in Assembly District 66 before being defeated by Democrat Al Muratsuchi last year, filed papers Friday to open a gubernatorial campaign committee.

"On a whole series of issues, I think California public policy is lacking a lot of balance and a lot of common sense," Hadley said in an interview with the Times. "We have allowed the distractions of political polarization and fake culture war battles to keep us from focusing on the things that we should be focusing on, which is a better future for all Californians."

The balance issue .... Yes, there is no balance, because two sides of the special interest phalanx tug and pull at elected officials in Sacramento.

Hadley said if he proceeds with a run, his attention will be on Californians who "are struggling the most," particularly with poverty, high housing costs and the cost of energy.

That's pretty much ... everyone.

Hadley emphasized his bipartisan appeal as an asset for his possible gubernatorial run. In 2014, he was elected to a district where Democrats had an eight-percentage-point voter registration advantage, and during his tenure was the Republican legislator representing a district entirely within Los Angeles County.

"I'm confident that if I chose to fully pursue and declare my candidacy and run, that I would have a lot of support both inside and outside the Republican Party," Hadley said. "I think I have a good track record of engaging with voters and residents from all over the political spectrum."

Californians need all the support they can get--real leadership at the state level.

Real people who care about legal residents, struggling hard-working taxpayers--that's the kind of representative we need in Sacramento.

Hadley is the only potential GOP candidate for governor that has prior experience as an elected official. Former NFL player Rosey Grier and attorney John Cox have also said they're running, while San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and former Fresno mayor Ashley Swearengin have said they will not.

What are we to look forward to in 2018? I fear that we will see another Dem on Dem race if we cannot get someone better
