Trump Is Righting Latin America

I am proud to be an American, not just because our nation has lasted 250 years with great success under the same charter, but because of our positive influence around the world.

In World War I, we turned the tide in favor of the Allied forces.

In World War II, Nazi totalitarianism would have won, but the United States bolstered Allied forces overseas and in the European theater. Japanese aggression throughout Southeast Asia, from 1931 to 1945, ended because of America. We dropped two atomic bombs on their homeland, and we forced their surrender.

The Cold War was the longest battle. Yes, there were fewer battles, but many sanctions, lots of threats, and too many incursions and expansions of communist influence around the world. The United States stood firm against the Soviet Union and its satellites. President Nixon’s rapprochement with China and Reagan’s tough diplomacy hastened the Soviet Union’s decline.

The world received an unexpected Christmas gift on December 25, 1991, when Mikhail Gorbachev declared the official dissolution of the Soviet Union.

North Korea still embraces its Stalinist cause, but faces increasing isolation, forcing them to allow increased economic liberalism.  China incorporated market reforms while retaining its authoritarian regime, but a population implosion, weakening trade, and increased indebtedness are dooming the country.

President Trump has increased the pressure on these rogue regimes, demanding economic freedom and political reforms. He has unchained American dependence on China; he has networked rapprochement between North Korea and South Korea; he has resisted Putin’s designs on Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Mountains. Indonesia and Vietnam have also become more friendly towards the United States. Freedom has a chance when nations begin to comply and cooperate with our country.

While Communism collapsed in Russia, it sadly relocated and re-emerged in Latin America. The cancer had already captured Cuba in 1958, then spread through Central and South America. Cartels and gangs filled the power vacuum, and Bush 41’s arrest of Manuel Noriega barely stemmed the tide. Further south, Peronist socialism ruined Argentina for decades, and juntas furthered the political disorder and collapse of freedom on the continent.

Latin America drowned in a red tsunami of communism during the early 2000s, as well. Bolivia floundered under the collectivist tyranny of the Evo Morales, and other Latin American states struggled to stay afloat in the midst of socialist machinations.

Latin America looked done for. America could finish off the Soviet Union, but what could the United States do about our neighbors to the South? If Stalinist Cuba could withstand embargoes, and hostile states like Iran, Russia, and China could form working relationships to undermine the law of nations and public order across the globe, what hope was there that we could turn things around?

President Trump has made all the difference through a savvy foreign policy regime while putting America First. Unlike previous presidents, Republican and Democrat, President Trump made immigration enforcement a cornerstone of his domestic and foreign policy. The free ride of cheap labor was over. He halted the teeming masses of upset refugees throughout the Americas from invading our country.

The message became clear to southern partners, neighbors, and adversaries: “The answer to your problems in your country will not be solved by running to our country.” Without the safe haven of the United States, the citizens of Central and South America had to look inward and turn their own countries around. They had to make do with their situation and find a way to restore order in their countries.

Thus arose Nayib Bukele in 2019. The mayor of San Salvador, he campaigned for president with a new party with a bold, basic platform of restoring civility, shutting down the terrorist gangs and cartels. He defeated the establishment of both major parties and became a human savior for the nation of El Salvador, locking up the prisoners, restoring law and order, then inviting economic investment. Murder rates in the former crime capital of the world have declined immensely—and he just won re-election by massive margins.

Then Argentina voted for freedom in 2023. Having Laboring under unrelenting government intervention, Argentina’s crippling inflation and moral collapse drove voters to take a chance on wily libertarian economics professor, Javier Milei. Adopting Trump’s mission and messaging, Milei took a chainsaw to the state and “the caste” of political insiders. Today, Inflation is crashing, jobs are growing, and law and order is being restored. The new rallying cry across the Land of Silver: Viva La Libertad, Carajo!

Milei credits Trump for his inspiration, and Trump 2.0 assisted Milei’s Congressional elections in 2025 with a credit swamp, which netted the United States massive gains and helped Milei gain power in Argentina’s Congress. He has passed effective economic reforms while cracking down on crime, stumping for life, family, and secured sovereignty.

Amazing!

And the MAGA-oriented right-wing shift has continued:

  • In Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, a center-right businessman with a pro-security platform, took office, winning in late 2023 against leftist Luisa González. His successes netted him a re-election victory in 2025.
  • In In Panama, right-wing candidate José Raúl Mulino won in May 2024, focusing on security and the economy.
  • In 2025, en.wikipedia.orgPresident Trump arrested Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in a swift, early-morning operation, accomplishing what previous administrations had promised. Maduro was arrested for rampant drug trafficking and terrorism. His successor has acquiesced to American diplomatic and business overtures while releasing political prisoners.
  • In Bolivia, Christian right-wing contender Rodrigo Paz Pereira ended twenty years of communist rule under Evo “Evil” Morales. Whoever said that you cannot vote your way out of communism?

en.wikipedia.org

  • In Chile, conservative Catholic José Antonio Kast won in late 2025 following a run-of, defeating a long-standing activist left-wing government which had sought to scrap Chile’s previous conservative reforms, including free market policies and school choice.

en.wikipedia.org

  • Honduras: Nasry Asfura (right-wing National Party) won in late 2025, defeating a leftist incumbent's ally.

en.wikipedia.org

facebook.com

  • Costa Rica: Laura Fernández Delgado (conservative/right-wing populist) won in February 2026. She campaigned aggressively on a pro-family platform, as well, denouncing the evils of abortion (just as Milei had done!)

en.wikipedia.org

  • Peru: Keiko Fujimori, daughter of populist former President Alberto, just won in June 2026.

reuters.com

  • In Colombia, another conservative Catholic, Abelardo de la Espriella, has replaced another left-wing narco-state-allied regime.

Look across Latin America today. The right is on the march, cleaning out the wreckage of socialism and communism. Free market reforms are ascending. Rejection of authoritarian regimes, recognition of the state of Israel, friendly concourse with the West, and en masse crackdowns on crime and corruption are redefining the region.

US Senator Ted Cruz offered a profound vision regarding the incredible political rightward shift washing across Latin America:

“[I]f that happens, this would be the most consequential geopolitical shift since the fall of the Berlin Wall, since America won the Cold War without firing a shot.”

Indeed, and Trump deserves credit for this transformation. He provided a successful campaign template focused on illegal immigration, national pride and sovereignty, focusing on economic growth and freedom while promoting traditional values. Trump endorsed many of the candidates listed above, as well, and has offered his support since their election victories.

Trump started the trend, set the standard, and Latin America is going right along with him.

Irma Chiota: Mattucci Derangement Syndrome

Torrance has some strange people in it.

Check out this lady.

Irma Chiota does not like me.

That's OK. There are some people in Torrance, in the United States, in the world who don't like me.

It's all good.

But ... she told me to "go away."

That is not nice.

She needs to learn some manners. This is a serious problem in the city of Torrance, in that we have hard-core liberal partisans which have no respect for other people.

That kind of bigotry needs to stop, and liberals like Irma Chiota need to learn some manners.

Just sayin' ...

“Christ is King” is Not Enough

Kings made a comeback last year, when Queen Elizabeth passed away, after serving as the longest reigning monarch of the United Kingdom. Bonny Prince Charlie became King Charles III, putting aside the randy (and bloody) reputations of the previous Charles.

“Christ is King” has become a political rally cry, as well, especially among the populist, nationalist, traditionalist set taking over the GOP. I understand the desire for a restoration of our nation’s Judeo-Christian heritage. The revivals breaking out in Kentucky and Tennessee attest to this nation’s hunger for moral order and meaning.

Yet I must submit to this the Body of Christ in America, and to the political operatives seeking to make a difference in our governance: “Christ is King” is not enough.

It’s a great slogan, but Jesus, when He came to this earth in an earthen vessel, did not come to lord his kingship over us. First of all, He didn’t have to. As we sing “Silent Night” every Christmas, Jesus was “Lord at His birth.”

If we really want to honor Jesus, if we want to honor our Lord as Lord, we need to see him as Savior.

“America First” is a nice hobby, and it makes people feel good. But how do you define America, if there is no restoration of our Anglo-American legal tradition, or more importantly our Judeo-Christian heritage, which culminates in the profession of the Gospel?

Save California Update: This is a War (Without Guns and Knives)

SaveCalifornia.com -- Championing Your Values in California
SaveCalifornia.com provides this solely for educational purposes and does not support or oppose candidates for public office.
Hi Arthur,

This is one of the most important messages I've ever written. I hope you'll read it!
Will Gavin Newsom be replaced by another Democrat?

Looks at this August 26-29 Trafalgar Group poll of more than a thousand likely California voters. For Question 2 in the Gavin Newsom Recall Election, it shows a potentially close race between Republican frontrunner Larry Elder and Democrat Kevin Paffrath.

This is from one of the most accurate U.S. pollsters. And while the poll mistakenly left out Kevin Kiley, that still doesn't change the big math problem for conservatives. Because with the way California conservatives are splitting their votes between several Republican candidates, I wouldn't be surprised to see Democrat voters surge and cast more votes for the leading Democrat than conservatives' votes for the leading Republican.

This is why I'm urging California conservatives to do three things right now, as the September 14 voting deadline looms:

  1. Note which candidates can win
  2. See the public policy positions of the front-runner candidates at SaveCalifornia.com
  3. Vote and get others to vote like you (use email, social media, flyers on cars, etc.)

SaveCalifornia.com's research has found none of the candidates showing up in the several recall polls to be consistent, constitutional conservatives. However, there are definitely "mostly conservative" and "liberal Republican" candidates running. See them

So, without telling you who to vote for, if you want conservative values to win, you'll want to support the mostly-conservative front-runner. Or else conservative votes will be split, and a Democrat could replace a Democrat (if most voters vote "yes" to recall Newsom).
It's a real war without guns and knives

This week I was walking to my car in a large parking lot and saw an older lady standing by her car waiting. She had a face mask drooping under her neck, so I tried to encourage her by saying, "Good to see you breathing freely!" And that started a conversation.

"I'm sick of wearing this mask," she said. "And I'm fully vaccinated!" And in the next few minutes, I was able to educate her on mask inefficiency, how natural immunity occurs and how viruses naturally burn out, how the "variants" are caused by vaccines, and how the government mandates are dehumanizing and evil. She said, "It seems endless." I told her, "It'll end when people stop complying."

And what I told her I'll tell you: Don't comply with tyranny, and encourage others to break free from it. Employees threatened by the risky "jab" that has killed tens of thousands and injured millions must submit their requests for religious exemptions. Small business owners must defy county mask mandates (which are largely unenforced by "authorities"). Residents of mask-mandating counties must walk into businesses without masks, whether with or without declaring an exemption. We must remind ourselves and others what true freedom (our God-given liberties) looks like. Because when we do, the deceptive power of tyranny dissipates, and we realize fighting for freedom was mainly about overcoming our own fears and fleshiness.

Take a lesson from history. The freedom fighters of World War II -- like the French Resistance pictured above -- won their freedom because they were willing to endure pain and even death. When we endure people's ridicule and opposition, or endure government's warnings and fines, we both fight for freedom and strengthen our characters. And the need is great. We must see our current struggle as a real war without guns or knives. The Tyrannical Left wants to dehumanize you and take everything from you. This is diabolical evil that King Jesus, our U.S. Constitution, and you and I oppose. Let's redouble our efforts to defy tyranny this weekend, next week, and this entire month!

Again, the masks, tests, and jabs are ineffectual and completely unnecessary, and are hurting children most of all. Currently, hospitals are falsely labeling as a "Covid deaths" people who die from influenza or who die with some type of Covid infection. And still, the California death rate for Covid is quickly returning to 1 in 5 million (0.02 deaths per 100,000 infections) and 1 in 10 million (0.01 deaths per 100,000 infections).

This "zero Covid" agenda is so unrealistic. Since you have a much higher chance of dying from eating, walking, driving, or being struck by lightning, if we believe in masks, tests, jabs, and passports now, why didn't we do this for decades of flus and common colds, and why in the world do we still permit people to eat, walk, and drive? I'm being sarcastic to make a point to overcome this devilish insanity. Because we're either free and "live with" infections of all types, or we're slaves who let our "authorities" restrict us in all ways because of their "zero infection" goal, turning entire societies into "hospitals." Don't buy into their lie -- break free from it!
This State of California Covid dashboard graph of "Covid deaths" spans March 2020 on the left to September 2021 on the right. You can see we are quickly returning to the lowest level seen this summer, which has been 0.01 and 0.02 deaths per 100,000 infections (which means an individual Californian has a 1 in 5 million or 1 in 10 million chance of dying from a Covid-related infection). This is nothing to be afraid of, and it's no justification for mandatory masks, tests, and jabs. For you have a greater chance of being crushed to death by your furniture, TV, or refrigerator. Are any of these keeping you up at night?
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Larry Elder WINS Lawsuit!

BREAKING: WE WON OUR LAWSUIT!

Huge news, Arthur!

We won our lawsuit against the California Secretary of State and are back on the governor ballot in the recall election!

This is a huge victory for voting rights, democracy, our campaign, you and for California! Now we need to push forward to recall Gavin Newsom and win the race for governor.

Will you rush $25, $50, $100 or more to help us celebrate this victory and push forward to save our state?

Thanks,

Larry Elder

P.S. Democrats tried to rig this system against us and even tried to keep us off the ballot. They failed and right has prevailed. Now it's time to take back California and end these abuses of power. Chip in to support my fight today.

The Problem Is Not the Left: It's the Lack of Righteousness -- BY FAITH!

Dennis Prager loves to say "The Left ruins everything it touches."

I disagree.

The Left can touch anything it wants. People can choose to "touch back", to push back, to fight back.

And right now, we have seen too many people not do that.

Why? Cowardice, lack of boldness. Remember what Edmund Burke said:

And yet, telling people that they are cowardly does not help people. Shaming people does not get them to break free of the bondage of fear. What does?

God's perfect love:

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18)

This perfect loves gives a perfected standing of righteousness in Christ Jesus!

"Herein is our love made perfect [lit. love perfected among us], that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)

What do we believe about Jesus? That He is our RIGHTEOUSNESS:

"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:" (1 Corinthians 1:30)

and

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)

This righteousness makes us BOLD:

"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." (Proverbs 28:1)

and

"In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee." (Isaiah 54:14)

Righteousness is not something that we do, but something that is done to us! Righteousness frees us fro oppression and fear, because we know that God is with us!

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 54:17)

When you know that no weapon that people use against you will be successful, then you know that you can speak out, step up, speak up, and not fear what man may do to you (Hebrews 13:6)

That's the boldness that is needed, and it comes when we receive--and keep receiving--the gift of righteousness (Romans 5:17)

And that is "the faith" that Paul writes about to the Corinthians:

"Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong." (1 Corinthians 16:13)

We need to get back to the Gospel:

"38Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." (Acts 13:38-39)

BAM!

When the revelation of righteousness by faith is restored in the Body of Christ, then the boldness to stand up to evil will be restored fully in the land. The Left is not the problem. The problem is the lack of righteousnesss, particularly the revelation of righteousness by faith in Christ!

YES!
