RINO-PLAC Treasurer Gary SCAM-inoff Tries to Intimidate Conservatives

Gary Aminoff has threatened me with lawsuits, he has tried to shame me and scare me for outing the corrupt RINO-PLAC Central Committee for pulling the charter for the Beach Cities Republicans.

In case he has not noticed--he probably has--our First Vice-President is on a roll.

He has auired an immense following on social media. Oh, and he's running for Congress against Maxine "The Crazy Black Lady" Waters.

Check out his campaign announcement--right in front of Waters' overpriced mansion in Hancock Park!

Our Secretary-Treasurer Tracy Hopkins is rocking the house in Hermosa Beach, taking a firm stand against the Agenda 21, Carbon Neutrality agenda.

In fact, the Beach Cities Republicans have been featured multiple times in the press for our activism

Oh and I just registered another Democrat to become a Republican last week.

How about that?!

The truth is, I am following the same expain

Check out what this local Republican activist shared with the RPLAC Central Committee when they were soliciting donations:

Just got a phone call from LACGOP apparently they wanted a donation. I told them the pulled the charter of BCR and support RINO's and that it would be a cold day in hell before I gave them a penny.

P.S. I work too hard for my money to blow it on those losers.

Here was SCAM-inoff's response:

Really----? You are calling me a loser?

Do you even have any idea why we pulled the charter of BCRC?

What RINOs have we supported?

Are you sure you want to make me your enemy? I thought you were smarter than that.

Gary

He has pulled this intimidation crap before.

Gary SCAM-inoff

Check out what he messaged to me:

I don't know if you realize that I am in business. When people consider whether they should become my client they google me. What do you think a prospective client would do if they saw my picture with Gary Scam-in-off? You are forcing me to hire an attorney to sue you for defamation in order to protect my business. I suggest you take down that caption today, or you will leave me no choice. I know you don't have a dime so I can collect on any judgment, but I can get the court to force you to remove defamatory material on your website. Is that what you want - a lawsuit? Think carefully about it. - Gary Aminoff

Honestly, the man's lack of integrity within the county party is reaosn enough not to want to have anyting to do with him

He runs a business? Who cares?! He lives with a woman that he won't have the decency to marry.

And she sucks ,too!

This kid of crap is becoming all too common.

"I am goig to sue you! I am going to sue you!

Blah Blah Blah!

The resonse from that Republican activist to wannabe intimidationist SCAM-inoff:

I don't want a fight with you because that serves no purposem but don't ever never ever threaten me again by asking if I want to make you your enemy.

Shame! Shame on RINO-PLAC!

Shame!

Growing Support for the Beach Cities Republicans Against Establishment RINO-PLAC

Now that the RINOS from the Los Angeles "Republican" Party Central Committee have declared war on Congressional candidate Omar Navarro, more people around the state of California are learning about the corrupt, dirty practices of Mark Vafiades, Gary Aminoff, Maureen Johnson, and the rest of the corrosive, undeserving central committee--along with the sugar daddy puppet masters Andy Gharakani and Charles Munger.

Tracy Hopkins, BCR Secretary-Treasurer

While RINO-PLAC remains silent, the Beach Cities Republicans are vocal and unrelenting.

While RINO-PLAC does nothing for candidates running in blue areas of Los Angeles County, the Beach Cities Republicans fight hard every step of the way with every resource available

More people are learning about what is happening, and they want RINO-PLAC to restore our charter--not that we want tit back!

On behalf of the Beach Cities Republicans board and members of the club, I want to thank all the supporters who have been fighitng for us and getting the word out about the failed practices of the Ls Angeles County GOP Central Committee.

It's time to drain the swamp!

It's time to purge the RINOs from Los Angeles County Republican Party leadership.

Let's work together and Make California Great Again!

Daily Breeze Journalism Fails Re: Revocation of BCR Charter

Sometimes, blogging and pulling apart the errors, distortions, and mistakes of the Daily Breeze or other local newspapers is just too easy.

And too much fund.

It's like shooting fish in a barrel full of monkeys.

Here is the full article content in bold letters, with my comments interspersed to expose why they not only got the story wrong, but demonstrate the structural and language issues which the paper's journalist Nick Green has also revealed:

County GOP revokes charter of Redondo Beach Republican club led by fiery activist

The county’s GOP leadership has revoked the charter of the Redondo Beach-based Beach Cities Republican Club for attacking members of its executive committee.

Is that really the case? Janice Webb was not elected to the Central Committee when I exposed her decision to contact my work and induce my boss to pressure me to cancel a meeting..

No specifics were offered on the nature of the attacks nor would Jason Maruca, executive director of the Los Angeles County Republican Party, provide more information.

“This matter pertains to an internal issue,” a party statement said. “We’re not going to be issuing a statement or commenting on the matter.”

Perhaps the County leaders realized that it's not a great idea to allow Jason Maruca to issue statements of any kind, since I will print to them for the public and expose to everyone his poor writing.

"Spellcheck is my friend."

However, the club issued a short statement on its Facebook page that said its executive committee made the decision to “pull the charter because chartered organizations are required to be in compliance with its bylaws.

And yet the Executive did not comply with its own, nor did the committee enforce the same rules against previous members.

“(The) Republican Party of Los Angeles County attempted to work with the Beach Cities Republican Club to resolve this situation,” the statement reads in part. “Specifically, BCR President Arthur Schaper was given a list of steps the club could have taken to come back into compliance with RPLAC, however those steps were declined by Mr. Schaper. Instead, the leadership of BCR continued to attack RPLAC and its members.”

No they didn't. and the reason I was "attacking" certain leaders in the RPLAC organization was the corrupt actions and unethical behavior which Central Committee members were engaging in.

It’s unclear what bylaw the local Republican club violated.

Hat-tip, Nick Green. To this day, I am still unsure what exactly I did wrong, since I was getting mixed messages from Maruca, Vafiades, Aminoff, etc/

Schaper said via email that he and one of the county’s largest and most active GOP clubs “was a victim of internal bullying.”

I acknowledge that the Daily Breeze reporter Nick Green finally printed some of the comments from the email which I had sent to him. He still needs to print a correction in the Daily Breeze, though, since the printed version still reads that I did not respond.

“This purging in establishment GOP institutions is happening more often than it should,” he wrote. “I was a whistleblower for abusive behavior against me and my club, and in a petty attempt to silence or de-legitimize us, they revoked our charter — and for the most unjustified of reasons.”

BAM! Put the above paragraph on full blast, folks!

Schaper, a Torrance resident who writes under the name Arthur Christopher Schaper, is well known locally as a fiery conservative, orator and blogger, who has blogged extensively about the conflict between the club and county GOP leadership.

The term "orator" is very respectful. I take great pleasure in that term.

"Fiery conservative" WOW! I should add that title to my resume when I get a chance.

“Arthur seems to like a good battle,” said David Hadley, a former local assemblyman and president of the Beach Cities Republican Club. “Arthur is an activist. I am aware of some of the attacks on individual people.”

Hat tip, former Assemblyman David Hadley.

Schaper also is the California director for a group called Mass Resistance, which the Southern Poverty Law Center has called an anti-gay hate group.

This is the biggest bunch of BS yet. Any journalist who resorts to the Southern Poverty Law Center for a sound bite on "hate" will find other pro-family groups listed there, including Tony Perkins' group the Family Research Council. SPLC has no legitimacy, and even Ann Coulter symbolically disembowled this fraudulent social justice legal firm.

Then came the real lack of integrity in the Daily Breeze send-up:

In a December article, the Orange County Weekly said Schaper was “fast becoming one of Southern California’s most obnoxious conservative, Bible-quoting activists.”

 OC Weakly?

Was that the extent of Green's research?

The OC Weakly, which hasn't written a hit story of any substance in .... ten to twenty years?

The same rag which parades anti-white racism as another form of social justice activism?

Remember that the hard-core race-baiting "humorist" Gustavo Arrellano spends more time writing foodie articles than anything else.

For real.

In several January blog posts an unrepentent [Sic--spelling error) Schaper ranted against the charter revocation, calling it “treachery which undermines volunteer clubs and takes the lead to revoke charters for light and transient reasons.”

"Rant" by its nature speaks of audible speech. People cannot rant in their writings. They can "Excoriate", "condemn, or "denounce.'

Ranting is a verbal, vocal exercise. Simple as that.

“This whole charter business has turned out to be a smokescreen for well-dressed irrelevance,” Schaper wrote. “The Beach Cities Republicans has gained more numbers, fame, and influence after losing the ‘revered’ charter.”

YES! YES! YES!

It’s unknown if that claim is accurate.

Isn't it the job of a reporter to search for answers? Did Nick Green really end his article with a big question mark of doubt to challenge an assertion for a club president.

It's a slow news day ...
Let me write about something that happened one month ago ...

Really?

This is just such a low standard when it comes to journalism.

He could have contacted other leaders in the club.

He could have checked out photographs on Facebook or Twitter.

Apparently, he relied on simple Google searches to find the OC Weakly article and to find out about the fraudulent smear from the SPLC.

Could he not have spent another 15 minutes verifying or debunking my claims about the club's growth?

But he did not even bother to ...

And speaking of not researching:

1. I sent Nick Green the emails which I had received from Gary Aminoff and Jason Maruca. He did nothing with them.

2. I printed the letters claiming that the BCR club and I had done irreplaceable harm (blah, blah, blah) to the party. They provided no information about what I had or had not done. There were ephemeral complaints, which I followed up on--and they turned out to be a big fat nothing.

It was a total rush job from beginning to end just to get rid of me because they do not like me for whatever reason.

One other thing that I must mention.

The Beach Cities Republicans charter was revoked in January

January 16, to be precise:

So, why is Nick Green writing a story about this revocation one month later?

Yes, read that again--one month later?

If you have any ideas, feel free to email me at:

arthurschaper@hotmail.com.

Beach Cities Republicans Seek Corrections from Daily Breeze Re: Revocation of Charter

To the Daily Breeze staffers:

As President of the Beach Cities Republicans, I request the following retractions and corrections from Nick Green's article "

County GOP revokes charter of Redondo Beach Republican club led by fiery activist"

1. "The county’s GOP leadership has revoked the charter of the Redondo Beach-based Beach Cities Republican Club for attacking members of its executive committee."

We are based in Torrance, not Redondo Beach.

2. "Schaper said via email that he and one of the county’s largest and most active GOP clubs “was a victim of internal bullying.

“This purging in establishment GOP institutions is happening more often than it should,” he wrote. “I was a whistleblower for abusive behavior against me and my club, and in a petty attempt to silence or de-legitimize us, they revoked our charter — and for the most unjustified of reasons.”

I recognize that Nick Green finally received my email but it's already in print that I did not respond. Please issue a correction in the print version of the paper.

3. "Schaper also is the California director for a group called Mass Resistance, which the Southern Poverty Law Center has called an anti-gay hate group."

MassResistance is one word -- and the Southern Poverty Law Center smears many pro-family groups as hate groups.

4. "In several January blog posts an unrepentent Schaper ranted against the charter revocation, calling it “treachery which undermines volunteer clubs and takes the lead to revoke charters for light and transient reasons.” You spelled "repentant" wrong.

5. “This whole charter business has turned out to be a smokescreen for well-dressed irrelevance,” Schaper wrote. “The Beach Cities Republicans has gained more numbers, fame, and influence after losing the ‘revered’ charter.”

"It’s unknown if that claim is accurate."

Why did you not bother to research this issue? Nick Green obviously visited my blog, in which I reported on their corrupt reasons for revoking the BCR Charter. Regarding the number of members who have chosen to join--why didn't you speak to our board for answers?

And ... Mr. Green and the Daily Breeze have indeed expanded our influence and fame. Thanks!'

RPLAC's Hasty, Unjustified Termination of BCR's Charter

This is a sad day for those who expected better from their Republican leadership.

Instead of respecting and encourage active members in the Republican Party, the decided to turn their guns on us to either silence us or run us out.

This is sad--and outrageous.

Another club President had shared with me the similar rejections which had taken place against the them from leaders in RPLAC.

What a shame.

The Assembly Central Committee Chairwoman tried to get rid of a duly-elected leader.

She called my work to stop a proposed meeting.

She then denied one of the Committee members the opportunity to attend his first Central Committee meeting.

This kind of behavior has been destructive and unjust.

This is to their shame.

In the letter eblasted below - you will notice that it is more emotion, with no reference to facts or truth.

They claim that charges leveled against leadership were false.

They are not.

Dear Beach Cities Republican Members,

After careful review and discussions, The Republican Party of Los Angeles County (RPLAC) Executive Committee voted today unanimously to pull the charter of the Beach Cities Republican (BCR) Club. Our decision on this matter was not taken lightly, but after months of attempts to resolve the situation.

As a chartered organization, the Beach Cities Republicans has a responsibility to abide by the RPLAC bylaws and work within the RPLAC structure. All chartered organizations are required to be in compliance with RPLAC bylaws.

For the record, previous Presidents had "violated" RPLAC by-laws, and there were no consequences for them..

RPLAC attempted to work with the BCR leadership to resolve this situation. Specifically, BCR President Arthur Schaper, was given a list of steps the club could take to come back into compliance with RPLAC. That offer was declined by Mr. Schaper. Instead, the leadership of the BCR has continued to attack RPLAC and its members.

This is also a lie.

I had already complied with one complaint--about having a non-Republican speak at the club.

Then the issued this outrageous demand that I step down or the club charter would be pulled.

As a result, the RPLAC Executive Committee voted to pull the charter from the Beach Cities Republicans effective immediately.

RPLAC has found that the Beach Cities Republicans violation of the following RPLAC and CRP Bylaws:
Below is a list of the violations:

    1. Bylaw Violations:
    2. BCR sent out multiple emails (from the official BCR email account) falsely attacking RPLAC and individual RPLAC members. These false claims were also made on social media by members of the BCR Board. (RPLAC - Appendix II, Section 1 (2) - Cause for censure shall be defined as engaging in physical or verbal conduct that tends to bring the Republican Party of Los Angeles County into disrepute, CRP - Article III, Section 3.01(E): (a) Brings discredit to the Republican Party.)
    3. BCR began advertising on facebook, a blog post attacking the 66thAssembly District AD Chairwoman, Janice Webb as well as RPLAC.
    4. BCR President falsely attacked RPLAC and individual RPLAC members (RPLAC - Appendix II, Section 1 (2) - Cause for censure shall be defined as engaging in physical or verbal conduct that tends to bring the Republican Party of Los Angeles County into disrepute, CRP - Article III, Section 3.01(E): (a) Brings discredit to the Republican Party.)

  • Again, RPLAC does not take this action lightly, under past leadership, the relationship between RPLAC and BCR was a healthy one. Recently, BCR leadership and Mr. Schaper have demonstrated a pattern of behavior that can no longer be tolerated.

This action is not designed to disband the BCR or replace BCR leadership. This action will free BCR from any formal oversight or affiliation with the Republican Party. Based on the clubs recent actions, this result may be in the best interest of BCR, to become an independent organization.

As Republican activists, we encourage you to stay engaged in the political process. There are various chartered clubs throughout the South Bay area and Los Angeles County. If you would like more information on Republican chartered clubs, or if you have any questions, please give us a call at (818) 558-7600 or info@lagop.org.

    This is most unfortunate.

One would think that Republican leadership would seek to bring members together and work to advance the cause.

There has been too much deceit.

    What a shame.

This has been a fraud from Day One.

Is it any wonder why the Republican Party of Los Angeles is in such dire straits?

No one should be surprised to see Los Angeles County taken on a formidable share of blue during the last election:

County GOP Committee Tried to Revoke Charter of the LA County GOP Club--Why?

I had wanted to prevent sharing this information.

Yet sadly, I find that this habit is happening against other activists and clubs throughout Los Angeles County.

What happened from some members of the current County Committee was particularly offensive.

I received the following email on Thursday, Nowember 9th from Republican Party of Los Angeles County Executive Director Jason Maruca:

    Dear Beach Cities Republican Board,

The Republican Party of Los Angeles County (RPLAC) Bylaw Committee recently meet and determined that the Beach Cities Republican Club (BCR) has violated RPLAC bylaws.

Specifically, the BCR is accused of violating the following RPLAC Bylaw: RPLAC - Article IV, Section 2 (c)1 - Disloyalty to Party “Gives support to or avows a preference for a candidate of another party office, or for partisan office”

The violation occurred at the August 2016 BCR meeting when Arthur Schapter, President of BCR, invited the Libertarian candidate for Senate District 33, Honor "Mimi" Robson, to address the club. The Bylaw Committee also considered additional actions taken by the BCR President that have been detrimental to the Party. This action is not based on one event, but rather a pattern of behavior.

The Bylaw Committee is recommending the club charter for the Beach Cities Republican Club be suspended for next 30 days. During the next 30 days if Arthur Schapter is no longer in BCR Leadership (any position on the board), the suspension will be lifted. If Arthur continues to serve on the board after the 30 days, the BCR Club charter will be revoked.

The committee has opted to give the BCR Board the opportunity to respond to this decision in writing by 12:00 p.m. Friday December 11th. After that time the Bylaw Committee will consider whether or not to move forward with the suspension.

If you have any questions about the process, please contact Jason Maruca at (818) 558-7600 or jason@lagop.org.

    HUH?

    What?!

This message disconcerting and poorly written, even unprofessional.

Notice that my name is misspelled, for starters.

Then the email was calling for a response by December 11, 2016. That's a Sunday. HUH?

Then the Executive Director and I spoke for about half and hour.

I asked for specific information about complaints against me. He had no information to supply me.

The issue about inviting a Libertarian candidate to speak to the club followed from the fact that there was no Republican running in state senate district 33 against the hateful, detestable Ricardo Lara.

David Hadley allowed independent Bill Bloomfield to speak to the Beach Cities Republicans in August, 2012.

Here's a link announcing the event.

    Here's a picture:

I do not recall my Assemblyman (who was President at the time) receiving any complaints about having this non-Republican speaking at the Beach Cities Republicans. Frankly, even today I would not have been upset, since he was the best chance for taking down Henry Waxman, the Democrat who was running to replace Janice Hahn in that region.

    By the way ...

The next President, Evan Chase, invited Election 2014 Independent state senate candidate Seth Stodder to speak to the Beach Cities Republicans, too.

Why do I bring all of this up?

Because this recent attack on the Beach Cities Republicans smacks of selective enforcement. They are going after me, but they never raised any alarms about Bloomfield or Stodder speaking to the members of the Beach Cities Republicans.

    What is going on?

I still received no answers from Maruca. He then all of a sudden changed the deadline for a response to NOVEMBER 11. Did he really expect me to assemble the BCR board at the drop of a hat? No time, no notice, no explanation about what was going on.

All of this was deeply unprofessional and immoral.

Later that day, I contacted the RPLAC By-Laws committee chairman Gary Aminoff for more information.

He told me that there were members of the AD-66th Central Committee unhappy with my activism. There were complaints that I was "harming the party."

WHAT?! That's not a reason. They said there were other complaints, I asked for documentation of these complaints, and I asked for the minutes of this supposed By-Laws meeting that had discussed revocation of the BCR charter.

He added that he served as chairman, and had no control over the initial set of complaints being filed against me. Then he told me that it was a unanimous vote to move ahead with a recommendation for suspension of the BCR charter.

[Addendum: Gary Aminoff corrected this account: I said that there was a unanimous vote of the committee in agreement that the Bylaws had been violated.  I approved the motion because there was a violation.]

What is going on? Why all of these complaints?

Were people unhappy with the growth of our club's membership?

Were they unhappy with the concerted efforts of our members to help David Hadley and other local Republicans get elected?

What was particularly disconcerting about this effort is that the Beach Cities Republicans are the most active members in the South Bay, if not the entire county.

Why would they try to stop a good thing?

Let's state the facts plainly. The RPLAC By-Laws committee--whoever they are currently--was putting a gun to the head of every member of Beach Cities Republicans.

They were trying to intervene and prevent a basic election from taking place which would allow the members of a chartered club to decide who would be the next BCR President, whether me or someone else.

    This is wrong.

This is America, not a third-world country where individual voters are not permitted to exercise their franchise to vote for their representatives!
    Don't Revoke ME, PLEASE!

They were dictating to them a forced outcome for the November 17th BCR elections. If they re-elected me as President, they would revoke our charter.

I began sharing this information with the Beach Cities Republicans board and other members.

One member demanded a copy of the RPLAC By-Laws. At least ten people were ready to come with me to the next RPLAC Executive Committee meeting on November 12th.

Then I received another email from Aminoff, informing me that this matter would not end up on the November 12th agenda.

    THEY BACKED OFF! SUCCESS!

The power belongs to We the People!

Aminoff then told me that I would receive a letter outlining the violation (still nothing about a supposed "pattern of behavior").

    Here's the thing:

Jason Maruca had already sent me a letter!

    Check it out below:

    From: Jason Maruca
    Sent: Friday, August 19, 2016 3:57 PM

To: Arthur Christopher Schaper; Mark Vafiades
    Subject: Call Follow Up

    Arthur,

As we discussed over the phone today, RPLAC chartered organizations are not allowed to promote candidates from other political parties. This is a direct violation of our bylaws.

    Thanks,

Beach Cities Republicans, June 16th, 2016 Invite

    Hello, South Bay Conservatives!

We have a great evening scheduled for everyone this Thursday, June 16th!

Congratulations to Beach Cities Republicans’ three endorsed candidates for Torrance city council:

    1. Milton Herring
    2. Geoff Rizzo
    3. Mike Griffiths

From the left; BCR VP Tracy Hopkins
Milton Herring, Mike Griffiths, and Geoff Rizzo

Our efforts and outreach are paying off here in the South Bay, and we have three more conservatives, and a Republican majority, back on Torrance City Council.

Conservatives are winning local races, and pushing back against the liberal, progressive machines which have dominated this area for so long.

Now let me tell you about our guests for our upcoming meeting.

    Kent Hori

    1. Kent Hori, Hawaiian born native, long-time South Bay Resident—and Republican—will be sharing about his story as a young Japanese-American who joined the GOP, and his successful efforts to reach out to fellow Japanese-Americans to support our Assemblyman David Hadley in the general election this November!
    And …
Who says conservatives can’t have fun? Or take a joke!

    Eric Golub

Well-known, nationally-renowned conservative comedian Eric Golub will share with us a great night of laughter with his politically (right) leaning routine.

Also, at the outset of the meeting, I would like to have a brief discussion about the current Prop 14 jungle primaries here in California. We as a club should take into account that a number of key races in the state will not have ANY Republican competing in the general election.

Let’s discuss what can be done about this frustrating state of affairs for the California Republican Party.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

    All the best,

    Arthur Schaper

    President, Beach Cities Republicans
