Red State Blues: Conservative Inc. Throws Marjorie Greene Under the Bus

Jeff Charles of Red State has thrown Congresswoman Marjorie Greene under the bus.

He wrote this inflammatory article going after Greene: "Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Has Become An Albatross Around The GOP's Neck".

Jeff Charles of Conservative Inc. at Red State

I am so disappointed to see all these so-called conservative websites going after this outspoken conservative firebrand and firefighter. Clearly, they are more afraid of the press, they still want to be respectable before the media. They just don't get it. They don't understand that the fight with the Left cannot be based on civility and debate tactics. This is a culture war, and sometimes, you have to be uncivil to save civilization.

Here's the email that I wrote in response to his article above:

Dear Jeff Charles:

My name is Arthur Schaper, and I am the Organization Director for MassResistance.

I read your article about Marjorie Greene:

redstate.com

Is Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene doing more damage than good for the conservative movement?

It seems really strange to me that you are going after Marjorie Greene, who was the first member of Congress to submit articles of impeachment against Joe Biden. Every member of the GOP conference should have joined with that effort. Biden has connections to so much corruption, it is just untenable that he can remain in the White House any longer. He admitted on camera that he pressured the Ukrainian government to fire their prosecutor who was looking into his son Hunter Biden's very corrupt dealings with Burisma. That alone is impeachment worthy.

Of course, Biden's rapid succession of executive orders, completely disregarding the will of the voters and of Congress, along with his all-out war on biology, should further justify his removal from office. Come to think of it, why aren't you writing about all of these perverse actions from Joe Biden in the first place?!

It seems really strange that you are repeating the same lies about Congresswoman Greene, that she is some kind of Qanon conspiracy theorist, when in fact that is a smear that was pushed by some of the local papers in her area.

Even the article below cannot pin her down as a so-called Qanon ethusiast:

https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/politics/verify-qanon-claims-marjorie-greene-comments/85-a27edffa-631b-4460-b6b0-bebffc16e732

She clearly espoused the view--and everyone should agree--that there is a deep state that has been seeking to undermine President Trump and the American Republic. Have you been paying to all the Russiagate conspiracy hoaxes? Did you not following along with the FISA court abuses resulting from the corrupted Steele Dosssier? How many rank-and-file Washington DC bureaucrats have been caught by Project Veritas actively trying to undermine the president while working in federal offices in Washington DC?

For the record, I personally am not interested in Qanon, and I have no interest in following it. There have been so many claims about this program, and many of the supposed prophecies or predictions from Qanon never came to pass. I think it's a big waste of time for anyone to spend their time going after that program.

You can tell from the above link that Congresswoman Greene is not interested in online chats and groups for information. She is fighting for this country, and she is fighting! Conservatives don't fight enough, and it seems to me that you have a problem with that.

Or more accurately, it seems that you, like so many in Conservative Inc., are still more afraid of what the legacy media might write about you, or about other conservatives if they don't go out of their way to get rid of the targets whom the Legacy media is going after.  Yes, I am aware that there are articles out there claiming that Greene is anti-Semitic because ... she criticized George Soros? It has nothing to do with his heritage, and everything to do with his hatred of this country.

MassResistance put together our own report, exposing the defamatory falsehoods and distortions put forward from the press about her:

https://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen4/20d/MR-activist-going-to-Congress/index.html

I have to ask, Jeff: do you have a problem with strong women like Marjorie Greene, who want to protect children, who oppose this gender ideological tyranny assaulting women's sports and women's place in the world? Do you have a problem with outspoken conservatives taking on the LGBT agenda and its corrosive effects on the public square?

I am really saddened to see Red State descend to such cowardice. It's clear that you wrote your article not out of any real sense of outrage, but rather out of fear because of what the corporate media has been saying about this one very active, very effective conservative.

I cannot believe that you have fallen for the same false reports from the fake news media, the same corporate shills who repeatedly smeared and defamed President Donald Trump for four years.  I hope you did not believe what they said about President Trump. Now, all of a sudden, you are taking the word when they attack a member of Congress?

What were you thinking? You need to issue some major corrections to your article, or better yet, just take it down altogether. The lack of substantive journalism and reporting in your post really calls into question your integrity as well as your conservative bona fides.

Sincerely,

Well, let's just say that my email hit a nerve.

Let me ask you a few questions:

  • Do you think black people are slaves?
  • Do you believe Muslim Americans should not be allowed to serve in Congress if elected?
  • Do you publicly call for the deaths of Democratic politicians?
  • Do you believe the Jews caused wildfires by using a space laser?
  • Are you a QAnon adherent?

Moreover, do you think that it is impossible to criticize Democrats AND conservatives? If not, then I’m sure you’ve never criticized Mitch McConnel or other members of the establishment, right?

Biden has connections to so much corruption, it is just untenable that he can remain in the White House any longer. He admitted on camera that he pressured the Ukrainian government to fire their prosecutor who was looking into his son Hunter Biden's very corrupt dealings with Burisma.”

I’ve written extensively on this..

I’ve slammed Biden in myriad articles. If you think I haven’t, you either haven’t bothered to look, or you have a reading comprehension problem. Unlike some folks, actually want to win. Anything that gets in the way of a conservative victory is going to get my ire, even if they claim to be on our side. I won’t apologize for this.

And her statements regarding QAnon have been proven over and over again. If she no longer believes in it, than she should say so. But as far as I know, she hasn’t.

“Or more accurately, it seems that you, like so many in Conservative Inc., are still more afraid of what the legacy media might write about you, or about other conservatives if they don't go out of their way to get rid of the targets whom the Legacy media is going after.”

If you’re making this argument, you are either dishonest, or again, you have a reading comprehension problem. The vast majority of my articles are attacking the left, so this silly statement is completely irrational.

What were you thinking? You need to issue some major corrections to your article, or better yet, just take it down altogether.”

No. In fact, I might even write more about her and others who are impediments to the conservative movement.

Sadly, she actually justified this capitulation, and relied on the same false premises and smears that the media has been pushing about Congresswoman Greene.

Here was my response:

Jeff:

You did not answer my question, but in a sense you did: you are afraid of the legacy media. Simple as that. Why are you targeting Marjorie Greene? Because a lot of the corrupted legacy media is targeting her. You are still following their lead, and going with their narrative. Sad.

Your own quote in the first part of your article gives your cowardice away:

While it is a given that the Democrats and their activist media allies will routinely create deceptive narratives about high-profile conservatives, Rep. Greene’s behavior has caused more harm to the Republican Party than good.

You are worried about the activist media. You just gave yourself away.

Then you write to me:

Anything that gets in the way of a conservative victory is going to get my ire, even if they claim to be on our side. I won’t apologize for this.

You know what gets in the way of conservative victories? When Republicans don't vote conservatively, even though they campaign that way. That is what gets in their way.

Your article is all about the media perception. Marjorie Greene has actually INCREASED her fundraising haul from individual donors because she is standing strong for conservative values--something that Republican lawmakers need to do more of.

Again, you have proved twice that you are more worried what the corrupt legacy media thinks than focusing on helping conservatives fight.

Who cares what the activist media thinks? They do not think, they emote, the push propaganda, and they have no credibility. President Trump defeated the media by calling out their lies repeatedly. The fact is that President Trump won the election, too, despite the media's desperate efforts to play up all kinds of fraud. Democrats and corrupt Republicans went along with the fraud and the steal--and the courts refused to get involved based on procedural reasons, i.e. they were too scared or too partisan to make rulings based on substantive arguments.

You go on and on about QAnon.

President Trump repeatedly condemned white supremacy and white nationalists, but the media insisted on asking the question over and over. It was never about getting an answer, but it was all about fomenting racial animus in the general public.  For Marjorie Greene to spend time condemning some stupid conspiracy subchat is a waste of time, playing right into the left's playbook. The fact that you are playing into the QAnon talking points shows that the legacy media still controls you.

I notice that you are trying to play the game, too, when you asked me "Are you a QAnon adherent?"

Did you not read what I wrote?! Here it is for you, clear as crystal:

For the record, I personally am not interested in Qanon, and I have no interest in following it. There have been so many claims about this program, and many of the supposed prophecies or predictions from Qanon never came to pass. I think it's a big waste of time for anyone to spend their time going after that program.

I wrote the statement above in my email to you, and yet you still ask me "Are you a QAnon adherent?" Seriously? You wrote a knee-jerk reaction, clearly, just as you made such a reaction to Marjorie Greene's incessant negative press in the legacy media.

About some of your comments and questions.

Regarding Muslims in Congress:

If Muslim Americans are pushing Sharia Law, are pushing anti-Semitism, are pushing racial animus which undermines the Constitution (Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib), they should not serve in the Congress. Those views violate the Constitution of the United States, and anyone who adheres to them is automatically violating their oath. I have openly asked for Omar and Tlaib to resign from office for their hateful views on America, on Israel, on Jews, on this country's citizens. By the way, Omar is up to her neck in campaign violations and fraud, and so is Tlaib. Those are reasons to have them impeached and removed. Those are impeachable offenses. That's what Marjorie Greene was been talking about when she wanted them out of Congress.

I noticed your question: Do you think black people are slaves?

You deliberately are taking this point of contention out of context in relation to Marjorie Greene. She said that black people have been enslaved by the Democratic Party. Politico did not even quote her fully, but she said that black voters “are held slaves to the Democratic Party".

The Democratic Party has been targeting black voters with welfarism and government dependence for decades. Those programs have indeed created a creeping, crippling slavery that lashes people to government dependence. Dinesh D'Souza documented this corrupting process at length in his books and his documentaries. I don't see you writing negative articles about D'Souza--but you are targeting Marjorie Greene. Why is that? Interesting ...

Do you believe the Jews caused wildfires by using a space laser?

I do not, and she does not either. I can't believe you actually printed that smear as if it were true. She never said that. Do you believe that? You just wrote that. Besides, she is an outspoken supporter of Israel. You think she is anti-Semitic? Really? You believe this because you are going with whatever the legacy media has told you.

Do you publicly call for the deaths of Democratic politicians?

I do not, and neither did she. If she "liked" a comment or made a rude or vile comment about a Democrat, she can apologize for that. But the notion that you should hang someone out to dry for missteps or mistakes on social media is just total madness. You should be going after Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib for their rancorous, anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-Constitutionalist hate. The answer to the hateful trolling of the press is to fight back, not capitulate to them, which is precisely what you are doing now. That's what this is about.

Did you know that House minority whip Steve Scalise once spoke at an event with white supremacists in 2002? That does not make Scalise a white supremacist in any wise whatsoever. Notice how Scalise did not cave in to the cancel mob back then. You didn't push guilty by association on Scalise, I supposed. Why are you doing that with Marjorie Greene?

Jeff, you have exposed that Conservative Inc. is still strong in the conservative media sphere. They want to get rid of Trump, they want to believe that they can achieve a veneer or respectability in the face of the corporate, legacy media, and they play along by throwing outspoken conservatives under the bus in the hopes that the Liberal Progressive Media Alligator will eat them last.

You proved my points. Game, set, and match.

Oh ... and Smile: You're Famous:
