The only reason I continue to receive Evan McMullin's eblasts is that I want a window into how deep the Anti-Trump Derangement has become.
It is inexcusable for anyone, especially so-called conservatives like Evan McMullin, to continue to refer to President Trump's travel ban as a "Muslim ban".
It's simply untrue.
The outrageous push to delegitimize President Trump is unmistakable and unconscionable. I have never seen the political class in general, and pundits like McMuffin, so deranged that they would actively ignore the truth.
This guy is a total joke, but serious enough to realize how deep the Deep State arrogance has become. Did this guy really think that he was going to throw the Presidential election in any meaningful way? At all?!
Still, check out the latest list of lunacy running out of this guy's mind below:
Arthur,
The president’s “Muslim Ban” was an affront to our American values. That’s why it sparked widespread outrage and numerous court battles, going all the way to the Supreme Court. Today, they made their decision.
In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court determined that the president could rewrite the current immigration laws to be more discriminatory. We respect the court’s decision and recognize that it was reached fully in accordance with our constitutional processes. But we also remain concerned. The president and his advisors are already boasting of their victory and imagining what they might do next. It reinforces how important our continued fight is.
In case you hadn’t heard, we joined with several other scholars, writers, and advocates to file an amicus brief opposing the president’s capricious Muslim Ban. We stand by our arguments and continue to believe that even if the president’s orders are ruled technically legal by the court, they are still immoral and antithetical to our principles. Justice Kennedy seemed to agree in his concurrence with the opinion, writing “the very fact that an official may have...discretion free from judicial scrutiny, makes it all the more imperative for him or her to adhere to the Constitution and to its meaning and its promise.” The president is not willing to adhere to the promise of America, so we must demand it.
Our amicus brief sought to speak to the justices who might not be persuaded by the arguments others were making. We didn’t argue that the president doesn’t have the power to make national security decisions, which is what the concurring justices said. Rather, we argued that the president could not rewrite immigration policies to be so discriminatory. We still believe that his blanket ban violates the non-discrimination clauses and exceeds his executive authority.
This is just one of what will certainly be many efforts by the president to drive our laws and policies to a system of division, exclusion, and discrimination. If we as a people accept the president’s assaults on our ideals, we will embolden him to push further. That’s why we will not stop fighting. We will fight in the courts, we will fight on Capitol Hill and we will fight at the ballot box. From state houses to the White House, we must demand that our leaders uphold our values, and wield their power consistent with our ideals. The president’s Muslim Ban failed those basic standards.
We’re honored to stand up, side by side with you, in these crucial times. Now, more than ever, America needs its people to stand tall in defense of our time-honored principles and ideals. Together we will mount the next defense and ensure that our country remains committed to the constitution and our principles.

Evan McMullin issued the following attacks against Donald Trump and the Republican Party as a whole last year (just before the New Year):
Racism like @CarlPaladino's and that of others in the GOP won't just go away on its own. It's a problem that requires better leadership. https://t.co/bISUwoTjBe
Mr. Paladino made so harsh and unecesary comments. They were poorly framed and should not have been said.
Serving in the Trump campaign's New York State region, Paladino apologized.
Does his behavior reflect on every Republican?
Of course not.
Yet McMullin espouses collective guilt to the words of one man at one time.
Then came this tweet from McMullin:
I don't believe racism is anyone's true core, but we have a problem & need leaders to call it out & eradicate it. Our future depends on it. https://t.co/DntKUGmptW
This has to be one of the most bigoted remarks I have ever read.
The Republican Party was formed to stop slavery. Black voters vote Republican in large numbers for decades. The progress which freedmen enjoyed after the Civil War was due in greater measure to the efforts of Republican lawmakers.
Evan McMullin: Shameless Anti-Trump race-baiter
Republicans have been the party of civil rights since its inception in 1854.
Republicans also helped passed the Civil Rights Acts of the mid-1960s.
Republicans have a diverse, incredible group of leaders and candidates.
Of course, this attack comes up from time to time:
When 92% of black voters don't support the Republican nominee, but the KKK does, there's a problem. Let's deal with it and move forward. https://t.co/tzaFkMdTO7
This is false, and the argument is misleading.
13% of black voters supported Trump.
Trump also got 29% of the Hispanic vote, more than Romney.
Furthermore, they reason why so many black voters are voting Democrat now has a lot to do with the massive expansion of the welfare state under FDR and then LBJ, two racist Democratic Presidents who targeted blacks with government subsidies. The Greaet Society (really, the Great Scam and Enslavement Program) promised government money to families if the mother had children, but there was no father in the home.
The bare subsistence level imposed by government welfare has decimated black communities for generations. Combine this with Democratic machine politics in urban areas, and a vast majority of black voters are voting Democrat.
It has nothing to do with racism from Republicans. It's all about the racist intentions of Democratic Party politics, creating an underclass of minority dependents.
Republicans do need to reach out and connect with more voters, and not be afraid to go into heavily Democratic areas to make a difference.
It really is shameful for McMullin to push this "GOP is racist" lie.
After all, Trump made a real impact in Detroit, Michigan:
This Republican-turned Independent decided to jump into the race for the strict intention of stopping Trump.
Those were his words:
He is barely interested in throwing the race into the House of Representatives ...
It's possible, I suppose, if you add Gary Johnson's possible win (which is waning) in New Mexico.
His greater interest, however, is preventing Donald Trump from becoming the next President, because he wants to stop his authoritarian presidency.
But he has no problem with Crooked, Corrupt, Cranky Hillary Clinton.
The double-standard duplicity is deafening. Does this man have any integrity?
McMullin is the easy patsy for the Hillary Clinton campaign.
If Trump loses, this country will have a rabid, corrupt socialist who sells influence for favors and cash--while selling the rest of us down the river.
The self-righteous arrogance of his man clashes with his rising irrelevance.
Check out his remarks in his campaign's latest eblast:
Evan McMullin for President
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you,
then you win.” — Mahatma Gandhi
Sorry, Evan--we are still laughing at you.
Arthur —
When we started this journey back in August, the political
establishment in Washington ignored us. They thought we’d just go away. We
didn’t.
Notice that he hasn't really been campaigning until August and he will appear on 44 state ballots.
He will not appear in California, of course.
Then, they mocked us. We were a “quixotic” movement, not a “big league”
campaign like Donald Trump's. They said we didn’t matter, and that we couldn’t
win. Still, we pressed on.
You cannot win, Evan, and you even admitted that winning isn't your priority. Making Donald Trump lose is your biggest priority.
Now, as we’re on the cusp of making history, they’re openly attacking
us. Donald Trump called me a "nobody" on national TV, FOX News
personality Lou Dobbs said I'm a puppet of the “Mormon Mafia," and some of
Trump’s supporters even called for a Mormon genocide.
"Mormon Mafia" is an offensive term.
Yet he is a puppet working for Hillary Clinton, albeit inadvertently.
And Trump is right--he is a nobody.
First they ignore us, then they laugh at us, then they fight us, then
we win.
Win what?
We only have two days left until Election Day, and the polls show us
poised for victory. If we double down now, we can make history together. We can
win.
What victory? Where? By what standard? For what purpose?
Chip in $5, or whatever you can, to help us Get Out The Vote (GOTV) in
Utah. Every dollar helps, and no gift is too small.
Oh, McMullin wants to win Utah. OK, sure.
But how does he expect to cobble together any kind of majority with Gary Johnson taking votes away from him, too?

Onward,

So, winning Utah is called "Presidential victory."
Does this guy understand electoral math?
With such a limited understanding of the political process, and his rude disregard for the intelligence of the average voter, it appears that McMullin is just one more cog in the establishment wheel bent on stopping Donald Trump ... as if one more Republican in the defeated pantheon will have any success in accomplishing that.
