She took a principled stance against the Manchin-Toomey compromise legislation earlier last year. I applauded her courage to point out that senseless gun violence will not be prevented with more gun control, even expanded background checks, but any reforms must focus on more discretion in treating mentally deranged individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others.
In the past year, however, Senator Ayotte's allegiance to the United States Constitution and the principles of the Tea Party movement have fallen away. She endorsed the "bipartisan", Obamacare-like immigration reform bill, with its one thousand plus pages, and weak guarantee of border security before amnesty. Immigration reform must focus on rolling back the welfare state, enforcing proper protections along the nation's borders (not necessarily a fence), and then allow market forces to determine proper migration patterns.
In her latest appearance on Face the Nation, Ayotte called out the untrustworthy record of President Obama, which provides the perfect reason not to support immigration reform of any kind at this time. However, she also asserted that the Republican majority in the House should go forward with the pork-laden, overwrought immigration reform bill.
President Obama has been an untrustworthy executive, refusing to uphold the rule of law along the borders, easing away from immigration enforcement for illegal immigrants. While the plight of these young "DREAMers" should not be ignored, the President's reckless executive orders are both unconstitutional as well as immoral and illegal.
Contact Senator Ayotte, and tell her to join Boehner and the House Republicans in putting a break on reckless, immoral, and unconstitutional immigration reform. She made a vow not to support amnesty when she ran for office. Remind her to stay on target about the rule of law and proper immigration reform.

"(U)nconstitutional immigration reform." What the fuck do you know about the constitutionality of legislation you have neither read nor would likely understand? And furthermore, who gives a fuck that you "applaud" anything at all?
ReplyDeleteWell Ed, obviously YOU care or else you wouldn't be resorting to curse words to prove an ill-fated point :)
DeleteHey Ed...CALM DOWN...as soon as I start reading your responses...I get turned off by your filthy chatter and name calling. Obviously, you don't have an opinion...you just want to slit someones throat...and if they happen to be on the "wrong side" of YOUR tracks...then you attack like a rabid dog. Knock it off..it's old already!!
ReplyDeleteI started losing interest in Senator Ayotte when she teamed up with McCain and Graham. They are ALL out of touch with what this country needs to get moving again. Obama has absolutely sailed us down the river without paddles and it's going to take a long long time to recover from his destruction. Having Tea Party "wannabee's" pretending to know what is tight, right and cool for America..will keep us moving in the wrong direction. Stay focused and we will win this fight.
Thanks for the addresses and they will be hearing from me.
I don't think "Ed" knows what's happening. Ed (or Liz) loves to troll. Great stuff. You should check out what he-she wrote on the Blah Blah DeBlasio post! With trolls like Ed, it makes the job easier to expose the intolerant ignorance of the left.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Ed-Liz, I want my Breitbart Poster nice and large! Make sure you sign it for me!
Repost the Reproach!
Arthur, Arthur, Arthur, you are far too sheltered to try humor! Come on, now, boy--stick to what you know: misinformation, hysteria, ignorance, and lies.
DeleteSenator Ayotte, I am deeply disappointed in you. We had high hopes when you ran on conservative principles and to uphold the Constitution. We did not elect you so you can go along to get along with those who are behaving in ways that can only be described as lawless and against the best interest of the United States of America! Shame! STick to you campaign pledge!
