'Twas the Night Before Christmas (Greater Pasadena Republican Assembly Version)

 ’Twas the Night Before Christmas

’Twas the night before Christmas and all through the land,
People still fighting, dissent out of hand.

The children are hoping for peace and for calm,
And many are praying, now reading the Psalms.

The news fills our feeds with anger and fear,
We see through their lies, propaganda, and smears.

Our state and our country feel weakened and frail,
The best Christmas gift? Traitors going to jail.

Now Newsom! Now Brennan! Now Swalwell and Bass!
Dash away, dash away, dash away fast!

And like the rise of the sun after a long hurricane,
When truth meets with courage, peace may reign.

2026 - another fateful year,
Midterms are coming… will they bring us good cheer?

A battle is ragingthe bad guys don’t pause,
So we must stay engaged for our country and cause.

Enjoy these last days of holiday cheer,
Then stand strong and ready in the coming new year.

Our next meeting returns - the third Tuesday again,
Downstairs I hope to see youthere and then.

Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!
