Dear Friends,

Thank you to the thousands of you that took the survey to make your voice heard on SB 54 which would make California a 'Sanctuary State.'

The response was overwhelming and your position is clear. Like me, you oppose making California a sanctuary state that would shield dangerous illegal immigrant felons in our jails and prisons from deportation.

I’ll be taking our message to the radio waves tomorrow when I appear on The Mark Larson Show at 6:20 A.M. Tune into 1170 AM on your radio or use the live player. I’ll be asking all of the listeners to  sign this petition
to officially oppose making California a sanctuary state.

Be sure to listen into the show tomorrow and call in with any questions or to voice your own opinion on the issue. Please feel free to share this with family and friends so we can spread the word about our effort to defeat this bill.

It's my continued honor to serve you.

Sincerely,

Joel Anderson
Senator

SB 54 SUMMARY
Introduced by CA State Senate President Kevin de Leon, SB 54, the California Values Act, shields the records of those illegally in California from the federal government. The bill would require all public schools, health facilities operated by the state or a political subdivision of the state, courthouses – to be designated as sanctuary areas for those illegally in the state.
