Delusional Left-wing Professor: "There's More Than Enough Evidence to Impeach Trump"

MoveOn.org has been extra busy sending out eblasts to raise money.

They are desperate to have at least one Democratic win in the sea of special elections.

They need to demonstrate that left-wing thought can still flex some relevant muscle in American politics, even though Americans are tired of having left-wing talking points and progressive politics shoved down their throats. The working men and women of Middle America are tired of being shamed just because they are ... Americans.

Or because they are working.

Or because they are Middle Class.

Or because they are white.

Or because they own guns.

Or because they read their Bibles.

The arrogance of the Obama Administration, the destructive agenda of the illiberal activists and bureaucrats, had so angered the widespread American electorate, they were ready for Trump.

They voted for the end to political correctness, and for the resurgence of American correctness.

And that's they way it should be.

Of course, arrogant, out of touch liberal elites like Robert Reich just can't stand the vast majority of "uneducated" Americans who love their country and do not want to see their nation, their homeland turned into a second-tier European wasteland.

Too bad!

The Left has lost all moral compass. They have no capacity for restraint.

And according to the latest eblast from MoveOn.org, they are completely out of touch with reality.

Yes, Reich actually believes that there is evidence to justify the impeaching of President Donald Trump. Even though every major player in the wannabe Russia scandal, the obstruction of justice scandal, the email hacking, the DNC fraud scandals have all testified, and Democrats and Republican agree that there is no evidence of collusion.

Reich must have Trump impeached!

Yet even if Trump does get impeached--how does anyone expect 67 US Senators to vote to remove him from office?!

They are insane.

"Must impeach Trump! Must Impeach Trump!

But don't take my word for it. Check out the first part of the last MoveOn.org eblast:

Dear MoveOn member,
Let's talk about impeachment.
Yes, and how Democrats will never hope to accomplish it. They do not have the majority in the House, and even the most anti-Trump of Republican House Reps would never lift a finger to help move the impeachment forward.
It just won't happen. The House seats across the country are too closely gerrymandered to permit them that kind of freedom. Most Republican House reps are more worried about a primary challenge than a general election fight.
There's more than enough evidence to begin an impeachment inquiry to remove Donald Trump from office.
NOPE!

The three previous impeachment inquiries in the House (involving presidents Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton) rested on less evidence than is already publicly known about Trump—and on issues far less serious than the Trump team's possible collusion with a foreign adversary to win the election and Trump's subsequent attempted cover-up.
The impeachment of Andrew Johnson was brazenly political. The Republicans in the US Senate ultimately did not impeach Johnson, even though they opposed him. Most history buffs and civics students forget to this day that Johnson was not a Republican, but a Democrat whom the embattled Abraham Lincoln brought onto the 1864 ticket to ensure that Union Democrats would vote for his re-election.
But impeachment is a political process. Republicans will support impeachment only if they think that they'll lose their jobs by enabling Trump's transgressions. And even if it does take Democrats until the 2018 elections to take back control of the House and pass an impeachment resolution, we have to start pushing now and be ready to go the moment we take back power.
As I mentioned above, Republicans are more worried about a primary challenge than a general election contest. If they vote to impeach President Trump, they can kiss their re-election bids good-bye. The RNC has raised a record amount of money, and even the most embattled Republicans, almost all of them in California, voted to repeal Obamacare, knowing full well that they would face the wrath of the organized Left-Win AstroTurf group Indivisible. Jeff Denham and Darrell Issa face the toughest re-election bids, but even in California, in an off-year election, they are more likely to hold onto their seats.
That's why I was thrilled that last week MoveOn joined the call for Trump to be impeached. We need MoveOn to help build and sustain a massive amount of pressure on vulnerable Republicans to impeach Trump. It's not going to be easy, but the very future of our democracy hangs in the balance.
Now, why would MoveOn.org call for the impeachment of the President?
To raise money!
So I have a simple request: Will you join me in chipping in $5 a month to MoveOn to help give them the resources to ramp up and then sustain their efforts to impeach Trump?
For more evidence that the Left has left all of its senses, there's the consequences of a Pence Presidency to consider:
I hear some progressives say, "But Mike Pence is just as bad as Trump."

Yes, Pence is ultra far-right. As a progressive, I disagree with him on absolutely everything. But we know what to expect from Pence, and we can fight him on the issues. He's not the irresponsible and unpredictable man who currently sits in the Oval Office. (And, anyway, getting to the bottom of Trump's web of lies and cover-ups could very well take down multiple people in the White House, including Pence, or in the case of a Trump impeachment or resignation, leave a greatly diminished, compromised, lame-duck Pence in his stead.)
The logic--or rather, illogic--is astounding. They fear Trump, calling him unpredictable, but Reich would welcome a Pence Presidency, even though he is far more likely to govern conservatively than any previous Republican administration in history, including Reagans's. The Democrats will wonder what they were thinking when Pence negotiates even more effective conservative reforms, and the liberal lunacy in Washington will have no political capital to spend.

And some Democrats in Congress say that we have to wait to pursue impeachment until Democrats take back the House in 2018.

Rubbish. It's absolutely the reverse.

The path to winning in 2018 (and thereafter) begins with Democrats in Congress showing the American people that they have the courage and backbone necessary to take back our nation. It means calling for the impeachment of Trump and holding politically accountable every single person in his administration and in the House and Senate who have enabled his disgrace of a presidency.

And it's not clear America can wait for the midterm elections, followed by what's likely to be a long and drawn-out impeachment investigation, followed by a trial in the Senate. Just look at the damage Trump has done in just 149 days as president. We need to act now.
What damage, Robbie? What damage? His approval ratings are stable at 50%, and 94% of Republicans, including myself, have pledged that they would vote for Trump if the Presidential election were held today.
Plus, I'm in the camp that the "right" time to impeach isn't about when it's feasible in Congress … but about when the person in the Oval Office has committed high crimes and misdemeanors and recklessly and repeatedly violated the Constitution.
Where were you when Obama had violated numerous laws? Where were you when Obama was routinely ignoring Congress and issuing extensive, complicated executive orders in violation of our Constitution?

Final Reflection
There will be no impeachment of President Trump. Robert Reich is pushing the same hollow vanity that the left is desperate to hold to. They must find some way, anyway to get rid of Donald Trump. The notion that after 8 years  of Obama. President Trump is rolling back all the destructive, hateful, lawless policies is just too much for them. Their liberal, progressive Utopia is rolling back before their very eyes, and they can't do anything about it.
It's more than victory. It's consummate vindication for every American who was fed up, furious to see the American Dream turning into a dystopian, regressive nightmare.
And the left-wing activists and acolytes can only resort to violence and hate at this point--with long jail sentences to follow.
How much crow will the MoveOn.org Movement have to eat overe the next three months? How much indeed? That is, of course, if they have money, property, or resources left to eat crow ...

Robert Reich: From Democratic to Delusional

Left-wing "academic" and Bernie Supporter Robert Reich has dived deeper into his Democratic Party delusions.

This beyond crazy.

He actually thinks that Democrats can stop the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the United States Supreme Court.

Check out his latest eblast through MoveOn.org

No Supreme Court pick for Trump (Watch now!)

First, he keeps peddling these Trump-Russia ties.

Then he claims that the US Senate should not confirm Gorsuch just because of the Democratic false narrative.

Nope.

Besides, even if there are supposedly enough votes to stop this confirmation, the Republicans in the upper chamber are ready to go nuclear.

Then the Democrats will really be hard up to stop the Trump agenda.

Election 2017: New Life and Prosperity (Even in California)

The Year 2017 is just getting better and better, and it's not even February!

It’s not just Morning in America, people. This is a bright future, which grow until the glorious day. President Trump beat down every Establishment and crony interest to win the Presidency. The inauguration speech he delivered was just what the country needed. Full-throated love and support for America, with a keen attention to restoring all powers not enumerated in the Constitution to the states and the people.

His first executive orders have imposed a hiring freeze in federal employment and end to funding for abortions overseas

Contrary to the prissy whining of the #NeverTrump conservatives, populism does not necessarily clash with conservatism. After all, limiting the state and restoring the power to the individual citizen is the essence limited government, free-market conservatism.

President Donald Trump has been sworn in, with the largest crowds on record (who cares what the lame-scream media has to say. A record number of preachers declared God’s Word without limitation.

James "Mad Dog" Mattis and Michael Flynn have already been sworn in following a swift confirmation. Trump’s other nominees have persevered, despite the embittered interrogations of US Senate Democrats. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders—themselves the perfect image of the walking dead ideology of socialism—resorted to pointed, malicious, and invidious attacks to derail Trump’s nominees.

Their class warfare hate speech is no longer working.

Dr. Tom Priced shamed his liberal adversary Lizzie Lie-a-wath-a for subtly accusing him of insider trading. Finally, the conservative bean counters are fighting back! Betsy DeVos had to give Weekend at Bernie Sanders a basic lesson on economics: “Nothing in life is free.” Free college is a total scam, anyway, since someone (that’s you and me) will have to pay for it. Senator Pat Roberts from Kansas gently gibed Ron Wyden of Oregon. What Democrat would not need a valium at this point? After all, their progressive socialist agenda has been soundly rejected at every turn, and they are watching the conservative resurgence with boxing gloves beating them in the public sphere.

Even Energy Secretary nominee Rick Perry poked fun at Al Franken’s expense. I was waiting for someone to say that Perry was “good enough, smart enough, and dog-gone it, people like him. Oh well.” Perhaps frankly unfunny Franken should go back to SNL, and spend his declining years with fellow unfunny liberals in New York City.

And you know that Washington has changed when Lindsey Graham apologizes to Ted Cruz for wishing him shot dead on the US Senate floor. They even co-authored a bill move the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, the Jewish State’s true capital.

Republican insiders are predicting that Trump will outshine Ronald Reagan. Trump prepared to outshine previous administrations when he illuminated the true meaning of America as “the city on a hill.” Like Newt Gingrich indicated, Reagan beat down Communism beyond our shores. Now we need someone to finish the job without our own borders. For decades, conservative activists like the late Phyllis Schlafly railed against subsequent Republican lawmakers who tried to slow down or maintain the New Deal/Socialist status quo. Today, we have a conservative/populist street fighter who will destroy the old order and usher in a new America, one where liberty reigns supreme, and abject, unfettered liberalism must resign itself to the margins.

Reagan talked about America as a “city on a hill.” But legislators and leaders afterwards forgot what that meant. When a city shines out as an example, the light inspires other countries to follow suit. Yet for the last 20 years, American military forces have taken down dictators and attempted to impose Jeffersonian republicanism. Reformation must begin from within, before we see Revolution burst forth without. When the other nations want what we have and work for it where they are, then they will enjoy the same peace and prosperity.

And the Democratic Party is in free-fall, with no real interest in learning from their many mistakes. One outspoken yet ill-informed regressive leftist is trying to slap some sense into his much beleaguered progressive Democrats, but his efforts are growing fruitless, much like trying to waken a corpse. From the mouth of Bill Clinton’s former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich:

“The [Democratic] Party is on life support.”

Amen. Their demise seemed eminent in 1972, following an epic 49 state loss to Richard Nixon (and another wipeout from Reagan in 1984)—but Democrats controlled Congress and state legislatures. Election 1994 was a sweeping win for Republicans at the state level as well as Congress, but they still hadn’t learn to defeat the media at their own game. When establishment Republicans played the same corrupt games as Dems, they got swept out with Obama. His arrogance prospered the Tea Party movement, and Donald Trump will finish the work.

In contrast to the dying Democratic Party (strangling on their own hubris), the United States is prospering again, already. And our leadership is radiating within the halls of Washington throughout the world.

There’s good news, even in California.

Illegals are not enrolling their kids in public schools or get driver’s licenses. California farmers are investing in more mechanized equipment, since they can no longer rely on a steady stream of cheap, illegal laborers.

Mass-murderer Charles Manson is in critical condition, May he die very soon. Why are California taxpayers still footing the bills for his room and board, anyway?

California is receiving unprecedented rainfall. Half the state is no longer in drought. The reservoirs have filled up so quickly, excess water has been released into the ocean. So much for global warming.

A beautiful verse comes to mind:

I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. (Isaiah 41: 18)

Of course, the drought is stagnantly resistant in Los Angeles County, but we conservatives are ready to see pools of conservative resurgence break out, even here!

Liberal Former Clinton Administration Acolyte: "The Democratic Party is on Life Support"

It's time for tough love for the (Anti)Democratic Party.

They have lost an election which DNC leaders rigged to ensure that their prized queen would win, first through engineering her victory in the primary against Weekend at Bernie's, then through media frauds and collusion during the General Election.

And Democrats still lost.

Crooked Hillary actually believe that she could lie, cheat, and steal her way through this election, just as Barack Obama had demagogued key issues to shame conservative opponents into silence in the two previous elections.

The Democratic Party has been overrun by communists, socialists, thugs, public sector union cronies, and outright anti-patriotic hatemongers. The former mantra of playing to minorities and social grievances has not worked.

Their embrace of climate alarmism has turned off millions of voters, particularly in rural areas. Once Democratic strongholds have become rapidly Republican, embracing core pro-family values as well as attention to fiscal probity and responsibility.

The Democratic Party is now stuck in the past, with no chance of moving forward. People living in this country now, and those who lived in North America before this nation was born, have experimented with the closed model of oppressive government which stifles innovation and limits liberty.

Robert Reich (Credit: Danorton)
Now the Democratic Party is heading into another political wilderness, from which the leaders have no interest in listening or learning from their mistakes.

Robert Reich, former Labor Secretary under Bill Clinton and current pseudo-intellectual for MoveOn.org, is trying to wake up and save the Democratic Party:

The ongoing contest between the Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders wings of the Democratic Party continues to divide Democrats.

This fight is going from bad to worse, no doubt about it.

Reich then declares some sobering news for Democrats (but great news for the rest of us):

The [Democratic] Party is on life support.

No kidding!

Reich listed the reasons:

1. Democrats are in the minority in both the House and Senate, with no end in sight.

Democrats are going to face a horrendous Senate map in 2018. In at last five of the 23 seats they have to defend, both Republican Presidential candidates carried those states. In three more. Trump won, and Republicans are dominating at the state level in the legislature as well as the governors' mansion.

The Democratic Party is not going to pick up enough House seats to win back the lower chamber, either. The districts have either been safely drawn to protect (Republican) incumbents, and states with Republican dominance are actually prospering or growing.

Besides, non-Presidential election years are better for Republicans, since they have the larger share of likely voters. And Donald Trump is waging unprecedented successes already.

2. Democrats lost 1,034 state and federal seats. They hold only 17 governorships, and face 32 state legislatures fully under GOP control.

OUCH! Just let those numbers sink in. Republicans have had their troubles, during the 1930's and shortly after the Watergate Scandal. Both times, however, Republicans bounced back.

3. No one speaks for the party as a whole.

What does the Democratic Party stand for? More socialism? Bigger government? Anarchism? Tolerance for international and domestic terrorist groups? Rampant corruption?

4. The Party’s top leaders are aging, and the back bench is thin.

They current Senate Minority and House minority leaders are continuing to embrace the very policies which have ensured Democratic minorities for years to come. Arrogance, elitist, out of touch, in bondage to wealthy donors in remote coastal enclaves with no understanding of what every day Americans are enduring.

What's worse for Reich, though, is that he fails to see past the populist mantra to the Constitutional republicanism re-installing itself in Washington DC:

We are now in a populist era. The strongest and most powerful force in American politics is a rejection of the status quo, a repudiation of politics as usual, and a deep and profound distrust of elites, including the current power structure of America.

The problem that Reich and other regressive Democrats are ignoring is that ... socialist policies like the massive redistributionist policies he favors have become ... the status quo.

Young people and their parents are relearning the blessings of liberty. They have experienced eight years of command-control governance, and they do not like it.

It's costly.

It's corrupt.

It's vastly ineffective.

All the hopes and dreams which regressive leftists imparted to Barack Obama are all about to be done away with through the flick of a pen and the use of a phone.

Such is the result of Big Government hubris, now brought low by voters.

Reich continues to diagnose the near-fatal status of the Democratic Party with:

1. Big moneyed interests subsidizing candidates, who in turn reward special interests and their greedy limited goals.

2. The destruction of labor unions, particularly public sector unions.

In response to these two issues:

The Democratic Party establishment chose the most corrupt, colluding Presidential candidates in modern times. She was a Wall Street puppet from Day One. Further, Democratic policies by their very nature help Big Business to do its dirty deeds, regardless of the hollow mantras of the Democratic Party as "The Working Man's Party."

As for Big Labor, this phalanx represents the perverse and disastrous consequences of big government collectivism. Men and women have been forced to join syndicates and subsidize their left-wing, destructive policies. Cities and now states are going bankrupt as the bills now have to be paid.

The Democratic Power has played the public with their control of the media to spout lies about Republicans and conservatives. Now that the media is crashing and burning, the Democratic Party has nothing left but to consider embracing conservative ideals for a change or go further into irrelevance and decay with a doubling down on socialism.

It's no wonder, then, the Democratic Party is on life support, and with no viable ideas with respect to God, country, and citizenry, they will end up in the ash heap of history just like the Soviet Union and other communistic regimes around the world.
