Arthur, If you watched the debate this week, you saw exactly what we’re up against in this election. Standing on that stage, I honestly felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. I had to listen to six different Democrats — the exact same politicians whose fingerprints are all over California’s decline — pretend they will fix this state. These Democrats spend billions of our dollars, and what do we get? A “high-speed rail” with zero track laid. Cities occupied by drug addicts and the mentally ill. Neighborhoods torched by fires because reservoirs were left empty. In just a few days, ballots will be mailed to every registered voter in California. Forgive me if I don’t trust the people who caused this absolute mess to clean it up. They say they are “experienced.” That’s true. They have lots of experience making things worse.
