Jenna Ellis for Daily Caller: Day One Priorities for Trump Administration 2.0

Will Trump get it done this time?

I have him on a short leash, and so should the rest of you!

Day 1 priorities for a new Trump administration: A blueprint for American renewal

Daily Caller News Foundation

After four years of economic challenges, border insecurity, and decades of expansive federal overreach, the time has come to re-center our priorities on the foundational values that made America great. The second Trump administration’s first day will serve as a decisive moment to set the stage for bold action on border security, economic revitalization, and government reform. Here are the key priorities and how they should begin to take shape.

1-Securing The Border And Addressing Illegal Immigration

Border security is not just a question of policy — it is a matter of national sovereignty and safety. The Biden administration’s lax border policies have led to record surges in illegal crossings, with Customs and Border Protecting having over 2.2 million encounters in fiscal 2022 alone. On day one, President Donald Trump should reinstate key policies such as “Remain in Mexico” and expand border wall construction. Additionally, a renewed focus on mass deportations, especially immediately for violent criminals, will reinforce the message that the rule of law is paramount.

The administration must also move to immediately end sanctuary city protections and increase federal support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain and remove those in the country illegally. These steps are not only necessary to restore law and order but also critical to protecting American workers from wage suppression caused by an influx of undocumented labor.

2-Revitalizing The Economy And Empowering American Workers

The U.S. economy faces persistent challenges, including inflation, labor shortages, and a national debt exceeding $36 trillion. Day one will mark a commitment to rolling back the excessive regulations and executive orders imposed during the Biden years, which have burdened small businesses and discouraged domestic energy production.

Key steps must include lifting restrictions on energy projects like the Keystone XL pipeline, which President Joe Biden canceled on his first day in office. Restoring energy independence will lower costs for American families while creating thousands of high-paying jobs. Additionally, the Trump administration should prioritize tax cuts to incentivize business investment and bring jobs back to U.S. soil through policies like the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which spurred economic growth and reduced unemployment to historic lows.

3-Reducing The Size Of Government

Federal overreach has grown exponentially, with new agencies and expanded budgets pushing the federal workforce to its highest non-census-year levels in decades. A leaner, more efficient government will be a cornerstone of Trump’s agenda. This includes freezing non-essential hiring, eliminating duplicative programs, and consolidating or closing agencies where appropriate. DOGE will be a key component, but each agency head can do a lot too.

Reducing the federal bureaucracy will not only save taxpayer dollars but also ensure that the government serves the people — not the other way around. On day one, Trump can sign an executive order mandating a review of all federal departments to identify waste and redundancy.

4-Rolling Back Biden-Era Executive Overreach

Biden’s tenure has been marked by a record number of executive orders — more than 115 in just two years —touching everything from radical climate policy to student loan forgiveness. Many of these actions bypassed Congress and imposed sweeping changes without public accountability or constitutional fidelity. Trump must take immediate steps to rescind executive orders that undermine energy independence, threaten Second Amendment rights, and impose costly mandates on businesses and states.

For example, Biden’s executive orders on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing and regulations targeting the oil and gas sector will be reversed. These actions will signal to businesses that the federal government is committed to fostering growth rather than stifling it.

5-Restoring The Mexico City Policy

On day one, Trump should restore the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits U.S. federal funding for non-governmental organizations that perform or promote abortion as a method of family planning overseas. This policy, originally implemented under President Ronald Reagan, reflects a commitment to protecting the sanctity of life and ensuring that American taxpayer dollars are not used to subsidize abortion practices abroad.

Biden rescinded the policy early in his term, allowing billions in U.S. foreign aid to flow to organizations that advocate for or provide abortions globally. Reinstating the Mexico City Policy will signal America’s renewed dedication to pro-life values while redirecting foreign aid to programs that prioritize maternal and child health without promoting abortion. This move underscores the administration’s broader commitment to safeguarding life and respecting the conscience of American taxpayers.

A Bold Vision For America’s Future

The challenges facing the nation are immense, but so too are the opportunities for renewal. On day one, the Trump administration must move decisively to secure the border, revitalize the economy, reduce government overreach, and restore the constitutional balance of power. By putting the interests of the American people first, this administration will lay the groundwork for a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future.

The road ahead will not be easy, but with bold leadership and a renewed commitment to America’s core principles, we can once again make America great.

New Boston Post (Finally) Blasts Informal Sessions in Massachusetts

We would appreciate if the press mentioned MassResistance in their exposes, since we are the ones who have been reporting on all of this at length.

It sounds like you have referenced our latest report, since you mentioned Rep. Donato's recent corruption, which we just reported on:

Here are our outstanding reports on the matter:

Threat To Democracy? Look No Further Than The Massachusetts Legislature

By NBP Editorial Board | November 26, 2024, 10:36 EST

Massachusetts Legislature

During the recent presidential election many Democrats claimed that now-President-elect Donald Trump was a “threat to democracy.”

For those unfamiliar with the term, that’s the system of government in which the people govern themselves, usually through elected representatives who vote up or down on various proposals.

But in Massachusetts, the most obvious threat to democracy is the Massachusetts Legislature.

Each year, the state legislature concludes what it calls its “formal sessions” on or about July 31. In theory, this is the period when the serious business of the legislature gets done – when state legislators approve or reject or (most likely) ignore proposed legislation that would affect the lives of a large number of people.

That’s not so different from how many other states do it. In those places, the legislature meets, conducts its business, and then ends its business, and the legislators go home.

Except that in Massachusetts, after July 31 begins what the state legislature calls “informal sessions.” Legislation can still be passed, but in theory it’s supposed to be noncontroversial stuff, of the type that no legislator would object to — like commendations for Eagle Scouts, for instance.

Yet on Monday, November 25, the Massachusetts House of Representatives approved a bill that would tilt the property tax burden toward commercial property owners and away from residential property owners in the city of Boston, shifting a portion of the burden from homeowners to business owners.

What was the tally?

Well, that’s not a matter of public record, because the rules of the Massachusetts House of Representatives require that no roll calls be taken during so-called informal sessions.

But the margin of victory couldn’t have been greater than 12-0. Twelve is the number of state representatives who were in the chamber at the time, according to State House News Service. Out of 160 state representatives, possibly 12 voted for the bill, and that was enough.

Yet even that number doesn’t seem correct. For when it came time to take procedural and substantive votes on the bill, the member presiding over the session, state Representative Paul Donato (D-Medford, said the following:

“All-those-in-favor-say-Aye-all-those-opposed-say-Nay-the-Ayes-have-it.”

This formula (which isn’t limited to Massachusetts) doesn’t even allow time for a voice vote.

In other words, the bill passed because one man said it passed.

Article 33 of the Massachusetts Constitution says a majority of the members need to be present “for the transaction of business,” which is known as a quorum. A majority of 160 is 81, which the Massachusetts House of Representatives rules says is necessary to have a quorum for formal sessions.

Yet the rules of the chamber also say “a quorum shall be presumed to be present unless otherwise doubted.”

So if no one doubts a quorum, almost any number of state representatives can be presumed to form a quorum, which is particularly important for underattended informal sessions.

On Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22, state Representative David DeCoste (R-Norwell) doubted a quorum on the Boston property tax bill, so the House couldn’t pass it. Give credit to DeCoste for blocking it. But he wasn’t there on Monday, and no one who was there doubted a quorum, so it could pass, and it did.

If the Massachusetts Senate plays a similar game, the owners of commercial property in Boston will see their property taxes go up, not because a majority of voters approved it in a referendum, and not because a majority of state legislators approved it in the state legislature, but because a handful of state legislators were present in the chamber while a functionary appointed by the Speaker of the House said some words and declared it approved.

This is government by charade.

Trump and His Unity Efforts (From Paul of Texas)

This is my joy about Trump :
He's not necessarily a true believer in
Pro Life, nor in OUR intimately related causes
But he's using his powers in our causes, in ways he didn't before. THAT'S most important, no matter his motivation. In this case, he's motivated because he's attuned to the voices of the People.
Trump has successfully completed a real "unity" campaign, which is improbable in politics. It's not "diverse" ideology, but CONSENSUS that unifies. RFKJ agrees on the critical issue of government overreach, especially by censorship and the vaccines, and other impositions, of  Big Pharma. He has wonderful potential for our cause,  in that he could take on the transgender industrial complex, and more widely,
Big Child Abuse. His "pro-choice" positions can be put aside, for our greater purposes, as they aren't relevant in his appointed role here.
Tulsi Gabbard agrees on the critical issue of endless wars, and putting a stop to them. This is business going back to  Eisenhower, about the military-industrial complex. Her roots go back to her pastor father fighting " gay marriage " in Hawaii.
She too , has great potential for us, and we can put aside  her pro choice and other positions, which won't be relevant to her focus .
Bobby is coming from the most famous Democrat family of them all.
Tulsi was the Democrat Chair, and has just switched to Republican. The dynamic
Vivek Ramaswamy and the incomparable
Elon Musk have come across distances to align with Trump. Even Trump's Vice President-Elect Vance is a convert from the never Trumpers.
Trump himself is a convert, as Reagan was. This is most thrilling to me. It signifies the momentum of this whole movement is
coming OUR WAY. The political movement said to be the biggest in modern American history has converged with our own.
It's our movement. OUR movement came from the Grassroots -- from the People.
            THAT'S the AMERICAN WAY.

Kevin Kiley: Making California Newsom Proof

 Newsom-Proof

Kamala Harris is reportedly considering running for California Governor in 2026. If she does, the governorship will be seriously in play for Republicans. In fact, the last time Kamala sought a statewide office she came within one percent of losing.

Newsom, for his part, was just in DC. He held a lightly attended lunch with House Democrats and vowed to “Trump-proof” California. The main reaction was eye-rolling. As I said on Inside California Politics, the reality is California voters have started to Newsom-proof our state.

While Newsom was supposedly here to advocate for California, he only met with Democrats. When asked why he didn't meet with Republicans – the Majority Party – he said because he's "married to one." (Fact check: he's not.)

Meanwhile, there are still nearly a million votes to count in California. Everyone in DC is asking me why, and there is no good answer. At best, it is sheer incompetence from a broken state government. In this way, it offers the rest of the country a window into Newsom’s failures.

I’ve told them: If you think California is good at counting votes, just wait until you see how great our state is at building roads, storing water, running DMVs, and processing unemployment claims. And you’ll definitely want to take a ride on our state-of-the-art High Speed Rail.

Despite the vote-counting insanity, it was a great election for California. Republicans are close to flipping an Assembly district Biden won by 19 percent. This is in addition to the 5 million vote landslide for Prop. 36, the ouster of lawless DAs, and the strong rebound in GOP registration.

The shift in voter sentiment is unmistakable. And to top it all off, a court just threw out Newsom’s attempt to stop Huntington Beach from requiring voter ID. Another win for the Coalition for Common Sense.

MassResistance Helps CA Candidate Get Elected to Norwalk-La Mirada School Board!

MassResistance helps elect parent – and bring conservative majority – to School Board in deep blue liberal Southern California.

Latest victory after removal of toxic “wellbeing center” from the high school.

Ready to move forward to change the culture in the schools!

She was definitely not the local political establishment’s favorite.

November 18, 2024
ALT TEXT In Aug. 2023, Becky rebuked the School Board for ignoring the "wellbeing center" agreement regarding informed consent, no Planned Parenthood involvement, and other outrages. Now she can take action!

Becky Langenwalter is a long-time conservative activist in Southern California. She has worked on a number of issues, including school choice and recall initiatives to get rid of Soros-like left-wing politicians. She has also been an articulate activist for pro-family causes. Her recent election to the Norwalk-La Mirada School Board tips the scales and will have a huge impact.

Norwalk and La Mirada are adjoining suburbs of Los Angeles. The Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District (NLMUSD) serves largely minority families. Unfortunately, the school board has long been overwhelmingly leftist. And the minority citizens especially, who tend to be more conservative, have felt shut out and helpless.

Shutting down the toxic “wellbeing center” at the high school

In particular, the parents were very upset over the “wellbeing center” at the local high school. It was staffed by people trained by Planned Parenthood. Students were given access to a range of birth control methods (by so-called “trusted adults”), and were referred to abortion providers and transgender sex-change clinics. There was “mental health” counseling by people with questionable credentials – including by students who were recruited and paid to “counsel” other students. Parental consent was not required for any of that.

In May 2023, a local parent reached out to MassResistance for help. We organized a large group of minority parents there to fight back. They came to every school board meeting with strong testimony, and also canvassed the town with information. It was a nasty struggle. The school board members were arrogant in their support for the center. And the school officials were dishonest about what was really happening there.

But in June 2024, the School Board basically surrendered and did not renew the contract to keep the center going. It was shut down. The parents had won!

ALT TEXT Parents and grandparents filled the room at the August 24 School Board meeting.
ALT TEXT The parents made sure that their school officials - and the public - got the message!

Becky Langenwalter also joined the battle

During the battle to stop the wellbeing center, Becky Langenwalter, who lives in La Mirada, came and testified at school board meetings at least twice. She experienced how duplicitous, arrogant, and self-serving these “public servants” were toward the parents.

Her testimony at the Sept. 11, 2024 meeting (though limited to three minutes) was calm but powerful. (See video below.)

Becky made several points about the center and the school board’s dishonesty about it: Most parents didn’t know that it even existed. Those who did had difficulty finding information about it. Even though it was described as an “important resource,” it was virtually impossible to find on the school website. The “survey” the School Board published to show “support” was not a representative sampling. It included a very small number of respondents, and excluded many who were critical of it. The school’s “fact sheet” about the center was confusing, blatantly inaccurate, and outright untrue. And the center had just one source of information for students: Planned Parenthood.

VIDEO: Becky's strong testimony at Sept 2023 School Board meeting (3 min 4 sec)

It’s refreshing to have a school committee member who’s experienced this first-hand!

Getting elected

Becky had run for school board in 2022, and almost made it. That gave her name recognition in the district. But she was actively opposed by the left-leaning local political establishment. And she was running against a Democrat. So it was an uphill battle.

MassResistance volunteers assisted her, and walked the precincts door to door for her. On election night, she pulled off the win!

A new conservative majority

The seven-member Norwalk-La Mirada School Board had been divided 5-2, leftists vs. conservatives. Another conservative parent also won on election day. So Becky’s win tipped the scales for a new 4-3 conservative majority!

This is a big deal in that deep-blue part of California!

Final thoughts

The minority parents and other conservatives throughout the district are hoping that there will be big changes in the current “woke,” pro-LGBT, and aggressively anti-Christian culture in the district schools. California MassResistance will be there to help make that happen. We’ll keep you informed.

Jared Taylor Is Wrong (As Usual)

Jared Taylor thinks that having dark skin makes you backward, stupid, uncivilized, or worse yet uncivilizable.

Here's his "epic" takedown against a another racialist commentator on the Young Turks:

Don't get me wrong: The Young Turks and their race-baiting is a crime against humanity. Their anti-white bigotry should be confronted and resisted at every turn.

However, the answer to anti-white bigotry is not anti-black bigotry. The answer to racism is not more racist, but truth.

And Mr. Taylor has a hard time with the truth.

He asserts that in Sub-Saharan Africa, there were no two-story buildings, no calendars.

Let's focus on the two-story building charge first.

Guess what? Ethiopa is part of Sub-Saharan Africa.

And guess what? They had two-story buildings:

Here's a brief commentary on this building from Wikipedia:

The eleven Rock-hewn Churches of Lalibela are monolithic churches located in the western Ethiopian Highlands near the town of Lalibela, named after the late-12th and early-13th century King Gebre Meskel Lalibela of the Zagwe dynasty, who commissioned the massive building project of 11 rock-hewn churches to recreate the holy city of Jerusalem in his own kingdom. The site remains in use by the Ethiopian Orthodox Christian Church to this day, and it remains an important place of pilgrimage for Ethiopian Orthodox worshipers.[1] It took 24 years to build all the 11 rock hewn churches.

We are talking the 13th century, not the 20th century. This building do not arise because of European investment or imperialism.

These were Sub-Saharan Africans, and they built not one, not two, but ELEVEN mutli-story buildings.

And that's not all.

Check out the Nsude pyramids of Nigeria:

Only their remains ... remain, but these were constructions of considerable height, to be sure.

Therefore, one must marvel at the Nsude pyramids in Nsude, Enugu state, on the Onitsha–Port Harcourt expressway just before 9th mile. On the left-hand side, from Onitsha to Enugu, the area where they used to be can be seen at the foot of a low hill, densely wooded and quite distinct from the surrounding grassland.

And check out these structures in the Ivory Coast:

Consider also these constructions in the Kingdom of Mutapa, in what is now Zimbabwa:

Now let's consider Taylor's second charge, that there were no calendars.

That is another lie.

Ethiopian Calendar

[edit]

The Ge'ez or Ethiopian Calendar is a calendar originating from the Ethiopian Empire. It is the liturgical year for Ethiopian and Eritrean Christians belonging to the Orthodox Tewahedo Churches and closely follows the Coptic Christian calendar.

A useful chart providing all the equivalents can be found in Chaîne's book on chronology in Ethiopia and Egypt,[55] and can easily be consulted online at the Internet Archive, from page 134 to page 172.

Nigerian Calendars

[edit]

The Igbo calendar is the traditional calendar system of the Igbo people from present-day Nigeria. The calendar has 13 months in a year (afo), 7 weeks in a month (onwa), and 4 days of Igbo market days (afor, nkwo, eke, and orie) in a week (izu) plus an extra day at the end of the year, in the last month. The name of these months was reported by Onwuejeogwu (1981). The Yoruba calendar is a calendar used by the Yoruba people of southwestern and north central Nigeria and southern Benin. The calendar has a year beginning on the last moon of May or first moon of June of the Gregorian calendar. The new year coincides with the Ifá festival. The traditional Yoruba week has four days, the four days that are dedicated to the Orisa.

Ghana/West African

[edit]

The Akan Calendar is a Calendar created by the Akan people (a Kwa group of West Africa) who appear to have used a traditional system of timekeeping based on a six-day week (known as nnanson "seven-days" via inclusive counting). The Gregorian seven-day week is known as nnawÉ”twe (eight-days). The combination of these two system resulted in periods of 40 days, known as adaduanan (meaning "forty days").

Xhosa Calendar

[edit]

The traditional isiXhosa names for months of the year poetically come from names of stars, plants, and flowers that grow or seasonal changes that happen at a given time of year in Southern Africa.

The Xhosa year traditionally begins in June and ends in May when the brightest star visible in the Southern Hemisphere, Canopus, signals the time for harvesting.

Now, some may charge that these developments are irrelevant, because they were spurred on by Arab or European traders and missionaries.

If that is the case, then the whole discussion is moot, because Western and Eastern European barbaric tribes were just as backward.

What caused a real explosion of revelation, knowledge, and wisdom was the Greco-Roman innovations and insights (Reason) and Judeo-Christian Revelation. Skin color is immaterial to the matter entirely.

What caused some regions to thrive, and others to take a dive, was communication vs. isolation, trade vs. intransigence, and spiritual growth vs. stagnation. Skin color is immaterial to the matter.
