"South Bay Rep. Maxine Waters says she's not sure who President Barack Obama was talking to when he told black Americans to quit complaining and follow him into the battle for jobs and opportunity."
Ms. Waters has had a curious knack of speaking (or should I say "demagoguing") before thinking. Now she is turning her acerbic tongue on the very President whom she wants Black voters to support in 2012 for reelection.
Frankly, I am still puzzled why she wanted to the Tea Party to go "straight to hell." I also find it curious that she got a pass after vulgarly denouncing the expanding constituency whose demand for limited government and fiscal conservatism is the one thing that will restore peace and prosperity to this nation.
Yet why should they?
His stimulus packages have further deepened the national debt of this nation, which is scaring away foreign investors.
Incremental tax relief and tax hikes have put small businesses in a dither. All this economic uncertainty has frightened businesses away from investing and hiring.
Rather than leading this country, Obama has relinquised the political battles of compromise and consensus to spend the next fourteen months campaigning for the job which he has failed miserably to accomplish.
Americans of every color will "quit complaining" when they no longer have to follow President Obama--when he is thrown out office November 8, 2012. Then we will no longer have to "battle for jobs and opportunity", because less government and more private initiative will usher in the hope and change that we are all still waiting for.
