The churches (and their leaders) had been part of radical group distributing graphic LGBT sexual books for children.
The Left lashes back at our success – but to no avail!

The local coalition of odious left-wing churches was pushing "freedom to read" pornography for children.In many places, the Catholic Church leadership is under fire by faithful Catholics for its unwillingness to oppose (or even for its complicity in) the LGBT agenda. But in Wisconsin, the Church leadership has stood tall. With help from our MassResistance activists in Kenosha, the Archbishop of Milwaukee ordered two local Catholic churches (and various Church officials) to cease and desist their involvement in a group pushing pornographic LGBT books on children.
Removal of pornographic books from school libraries angered radical leftists
Beginning last summer, our Wisconsin MassResistance chapter in Kenosha successfully pressured the local school system to remove several horrible pornographic LGBT books from the school libraries. This was applauded by parents.
But it angered the rabid pro-LGBT anti-family leftists who are obsessed with pushing their filthy material on children.
Leftists organize to distribute “banned” LGBT porn books to children in the community
On Sept. 29, the MassResistance parents in Kenosha were shocked to read an article in the local newspaper. A coalition of local far-left churches calling itself “Congregations United to Serve Humanity” (CUSH) was collecting copies of the “banned” homosexual- and transgender-themed books pushing sexuality on children.
They told the newspaper that their collection will include graphic homosexual sex books such as Gender Queer and This Book is Gay. CUSH would then create a “traveling LGBTQ library” to make the books available to children across the city.
CUSH outrageously labeled their pornography effort as “Freedom to Read” (a phrase peddled by the American Library Association). In their public announcement, CUSH dishonestly mixed the LGBT books with so-called “banned” books from decades ago and “civil rights” books which parents have no problems with. But it was clear that their true intentions were to promote LGBT pornography to children.
Two local Catholic churches involved
Several of our MassResistance parents in Kenosha are devout Catholics. They were particularly shocked to see that two local Catholic churches were listed as members of the CUSH coalition, and leaders from those churches were on the CUSH Board of Directors!
Those churches were known to be “liberal,” but this was beyond the pale.
Getting the Archdiocese involved
On Oct. 2, the Catholic MassResistance parents contacted the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, which oversees Kenosha:
We have been fighting pornography in our public school libraries. To find out that St. Mary's and St. Mark's are members of an organization that is working against us and the teachings of the Catholic Church is scandalous. This should not be tolerated. Could you please address this issue as soon as possible. Thank you very much.
The Archdiocese takes action!
Several weeks went by. Finally on Nov. 27, the Vicar for Clergy of the Archdiocese responded to our activists.
He told the parents that the Archdiocese had spoken to the pastors of the two churches directly. He also sent the pastors and their staff an official letter on behalf of the Archbishop on Nov. 21, which was also made public. The letter stated the Archbishop’s position very clearly:
None of our parishes, clergy, parish leadership, and staff as official, public representatives of the Catholic Church, can support, or publicly be affiliated with CUSH.
It turns out that for the past several years the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) had been giving grants to CUSH, totaling over $200,000. Earlier this year, the Archdiocese had stopped approving those grants because of CUSH’s support for abortion. But its objection did not go further than that. This new policy statement made the disassociation from CUSH complete – and also sends a strong message about support for LGBT activities.
Religious Catholics celebrate this big victory
Also on Nov. 27, a member of MassResistance’s leadership team (who is also a lector at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha) issued the following public statement:
I'm very active in the Catholic community here in Kenosha and it's deeply disturbing that two parishes are listed as members of an organization that is wildly anti-Catholic in their beliefs and mission. It's no secret that St. Mark and St. Mary are the more "liberal" of the city's parishes and, at best, fail to properly address moral issues in our society today. The liturgical abuses, wacky preaching, pro-LGBTQ messaging, and their support of an extremist organization in CUSH, which proliferated pornographic material to minors just this past month at their "Banned Book Drive" in partnership with the infamous host location of Drag Queen Story Hour, Blue House Books, has gone largely unnoticed and unpunished. I'm so pleased that the Archdiocese has ordered them to disassociate with this radical liberal organization in conjunction with depriving CUSH of funding. My heartfelt thanks go out to Abp. Listecki and Fr. Reesman for their faithfulness.

The forced disassociation by the two liberal Catholic churches, as well as the loss of CCHD financial support, inflamed the local radical church leaders still in CUSH.
On Dec. 17, a female Unitarian assistant minister in the group wrote a scathing op-ed in the local liberal press denouncing “extremist groups and individuals in our area” (i.e., MassResistance parents) who were informing the community and the Archdiocese exactly what CUSH was doing.
The article repeats the litany of leftist lies, distortions, disinformation, and logical fallacies that they throw together whenever they are challenged. Every one of her absurd points can be easily debunked. She is obviously counting on an audience of readers that is completely ignorant and lacking in critical thinking regarding this issue. It should be embarrassing – but they are beyond shame.
Final thoughts
Winning battles like this may seem fairly inconsequential at first. But they’re not at all! The psychological effect on the other side is bigger than you might think. And they bring instant momentum for the next win!
Kenosha is on a roll! We’ll have more to report in the coming weeks.

Mark Potok is a former senior fellow at the SPLC and served as the editor-in-chief of SPLC’s biannual publication, Intelligence Report, and its regular investigative reports.
At the 2007 Michigan Alliance Against Hate Crimes Conference, Potok bragged about the SPLC “hate list,” declaring, “We really try and tackle these groups. Let me say that our aim, and sometimes the press describes us as monitoring hate groups, so I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them.”
The fact is, Potok and the SPLC’s hateful rhetoric stir up individuals to harm law-abiding people, as did Floyd Corkins, who wanted to commit mass murder.

On August 15, 2012, a heavily armed Floyd Corkins barged into the headquarters of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. In addition to guns and ammo, Corkins carried with him a bag of Chick-fil-A sandwiches, intending to stuff them in the mouths of the FRC employees he planned to kill that day. Praise God, a brave security guard stopped Corkins’ rampage, but took a bullet in the process.
Corkins later confessed to the FBI that his murderous plan was motivated by the so-called “Hate Map” on the SPLC website that listed FRC as a “hate group.” In 2013, Corkins was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
On June 14, 2017, James Hodgkinson took aim at the Republicans practicing for the annual congressional baseball game. Hodgkinson had traveled from his suburban Illinois home weeks before, living in his van while prowling Washington, D.C., to “case out” the best scenario in which to kill as many Republican officeholders as possible.
On the day of the shooting, Hodgkinson shot more than 70 rounds, putting a congressional staffer, a Republican lobbyist, a Capitol Police officer, and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) in critical condition. Again, praise God, none died from Hodgkinson’s rampage … but it was a close call for each of the above who spent weeks, and in some cases, months, to recover. To this day, Rep. Scalise walks with a pronounced limp due to his injuries.
Defeat the SPLC!

Police officers shot and killed Hodgkinson at the scene. Handwritten notes found in Hodgkinson’s pockets revealed the deranged man had a long list of Republicans he planned to kill that day, including Representatives Scalise, Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Trent Franks (R-AZ), Morgan Griffith (R-VA), Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Mo Brooks (R-AL) — ALL of whom had previously been vilified.
However, the SPLC has never been held accountable for the false “hate” label that fueled James Hodgkinson’s and Floyd Corkins’ mass murder attempts. Liberty Counsel aims to change that.
Liberty Counsel is suing the SPLC.
Liberty Counsel has joined the legal team representing The Dustin Inman Society (DIS) and its founder and president, D.A. King, which the SPLC has falsely painted as an “anti-immigrant” hate group.
DIS was formed in 2000, after an illegal immigrant’s recklessly driven vehicle hit and killed 16-year-old Dustin Inman and paralyzed his mother. The organization was founded to “end illegal immigration, illegal employment, and the illegal administration and granting of Public Benefits and services through the equal application of existing laws” in the state of Georgia.
The SPLC designated the DIS as an “anti-immigrant hate group” in its annual Intelligence Report published in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, and classified it as a “hate group” in its annual Intelligence Report and Hate Maps published in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The SPLC also stated that D.A. King “focuses on vilifying all immigrants.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
The SPLC’s stated motivation is to “destroy” groups with which it disagrees, and it accomplishes this objective by falsely labeling nonviolent organizations as “hate groups.” But as can be witnessed by the victims of the FRC and congressional Republican baseball team, the SPLC hate list has only served to destroy innocent lives.
To falsely label nonviolent people or organizations with whom you disagree as “haters” or “hate groups” is irresponsible, dangerous, and deadly. The SPLC’s lies and disparagement must end. It is time to STOP the SPLC lies.
We seek justice and we continue to fight in courtrooms across the country and at the U.S. Supreme Court for the right to life, religious liberty, and the natural family. We won all four of the cases we argued or briefed before the High Court in 2022, and two cases before the High Court this year … and we aren’t done winning yet!

Many Conservatives are constantly apologizing for their beliefs and silencing their friends in order to accommodate the hurt feelings of Democrats. But Democrats who call themselves Christians have no problem speaking out and offending Conservatives by trying to silence them. It is only Christians who are Conservatives who must apologize and then remain silent. … Why?
Perhaps the goal is to spend years gently coaxing the Democrat to realize that his position is wrong? Perhaps we are leaving “the ninety and nine in the wilderness, to go after that which is lost, until he find it?” But Our Lord Jesus also said ‘And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.’ And “Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.”
The Bible does not talk of apologizing for our Christian beliefs. It calls on us to confront the unbeliever and provides an escalating system of confrontation: “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.”
The Bible shows a great deal of awareness that we must not tolerate a wrongdoer to the point that he is allowed to harm the rest of us. Apostle Paul said: “If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame.” And again: “Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also will be fearful of sinning.”
Christians are now being persecuted globally. The world is on the brink of a world war. Listen to Tucker Carlson’s interview with Alex Jones where both of them talk of what a dire state our Country is in; because of what Democrats are doing to it.
We have to recognize the Democrat/Communists are in an all-out war against us here in America, enriching themselves by selling off our assets to foreign oligarchs and criminals; essentially committing treason against America and Americans: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
We are unable to confront evil because we have a major problem with the word ‘Politics.’ Christians, particularly their Pastors, run away when any issue is defined as ‘Politics” like Dracula runs away from the Cross! Lyndon Johnson said he would sic the IRS after any church which preached ‘Politics.’ He meant any Conservative church that preached against Democrats. He had no problem with churches who supported Democrats. This was a brilliant trick played against us. By defining everything as ‘Politics,’ the Democrats have been able to silence Christians altogether. My question has always been “Name any Political issue on which we must remain silent; which is not also a Moral Issue on which we must speak out?”
If there isn’t, then we must speak out on all issues – abortion and murdering children up to the point of birth; transgenderism, cutting off our children’s genitals and denying them the right to have sex and procreate; murdering people using Covid and the Vaccines; importing Fentanyl and other drugs which also murder people; deliberately impoverishing our country by shutting off all oil exploration; and exporting our manufacturing and our jobs; deliberately releasing criminals from prisons so they can return to the community to commit more crimes; deliberately destabilizing our country by importing over 10 million foreigners who do not share our American values and cultural mores, who will never assimilate and who will wage war against us; … the list of satanic things Democrats support; every one of which violates not only our Constitution but also our Christian beliefs; is endless. As Eric Metaxas says our churches cannot remain silent like the German Churches did when Hitler came into power. They need to speak out: “Faith Without Action is Not Faith.”
Would you expect American troops to apologize to the Nazis while we were fighting World War II? On would you ever support a Football team whose players apologized to the opponents for tackling them? So why are you opposing and shushing the Conservatives when they speak out against Democrats?
A fair question to ask any Democrat is to ask him to explain what he admires about today’s Democrats that makes him support them. This way, we could have a dialogue, and understand and respect him. If he wont/can’t answer; but resorts to playing the victim card; then we know we will never convert him, and we should quit trying.
In America, we are losing power and we need to give all our support to those who are fighting on our behalf. We simply do not have time to be mollycoddling a single Democrat at the expense of the rest of us Christians.
We are in imminent danger. How else can you explain Gov Newsom magically cleaning up San Francisco; and all our politicians cheering and praising Communist President Xi Jinping like he were the Dictator who has already conquered America? And why our Media and our Pastors all staying silent about this? How do you explain that the vast majority of Americans now support Hamas Terrorists as they chant “from the River to the Sea” wanting to exterminate God’s chosen people, the Jews? Obviously, leaving the 99 in the wilderness, and allowing the beasts of prey to prey on them, is not what Jesus meant.
We are failing to consider the psychological effect of our behavior on our fellow Christians. Only a very few Christians are able to stand alone and yet stand strong. The vast majority are weak and need leadership and support. They themselves are lost. They believe their corrupt lying Media as though they were preaching the Gospels. Their Pastors do not support them or teach them how to stand up for their beliefs, to ‘ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.’ Instead, their Pastors hide from current events. So, their congregants fall by the wayside. We must understand that because we are so oppressed and get so dispirited by so many attacks against us from so many sides; many of us are leaving the church, never supporting our politicians and even refusing to vote. As a consequence, we are in a downward spiral, losing elections and subjecting ourselves to even more oppression.
This country has gone from being a wonderful, successful, Christian country; to one in which Christians are a minority, being persecuted for their religious and political beliefs, and where their economy is teetering on collapse. We are failing to recognize that we are in a war, where our enemies, the roaring lions who are the Democrat/Communists, are doing all they can to defeat us. We are now unable to speak out in any public square, not in schools, not in public places and definitely not in universities. We are discriminated against in getting jobs – How many new teachers are practicing Christians? How many practicing Christians are getting promotions in government jobs? In the military? Or hired or promoted in Corporations & Social Media companies? In Hollywood? The public schools and universities are separating and isolating our children from us and then indoctrinating our children to become LGBT Communists and vote Democrat. Our government is working with Social Media to bankrupt, silence and censor us. Our government is spying on every Christian, calling them “Domestic Terrorists.” Vast numbers of Christians are being targeted, arrested by the FBI and put in jail without trial. Our system of laws; the finest in the world and the source of our prosperity; has been destroyed. Separate systems of draconian laws and punishments are being applied against Christians and Conservatives.
Everybody now knows the whole J6 “Insurrection” was a fake, planned by Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats to try to defeat the Republicans, particularly President Trump. [of-federal-operatives-who-infiltrated-the-trump-crowds-on-january-6th-at-the-us-capitol]January 6th was a highly coordinated and planned intelligence operation run by the US government against the people of the United States. They deliberately refused to have the 20,000 National Guard troops President Trump offered. The FBI arranged for their paid Antifa and BLM thugs to dress like Trump supporters and infiltrate the J6 crowds, while Capitol Police shot explosive projectiles down at the crowd and created a riot. Yet corrupt Democrat Prosecutors and Judges, knowing Jan 6th was a fake; that no Trump supporter carried any weapons; that the 4 who were killed that day were Trump supporters; are acting like the “Insurrection” was real. Trump himself is being charged with over 170 counts in 5 States maliciously targeted to disrupt his election campaign. He has just been taken off the ballot in Colorado. A great many of his supporters; over 40 of his attorneys and over 1000 ordinary people who attended the J6 Rally have also been charged, arrested or jailed. Rudy Giuliani was just convicted and had a $175 million penalty assessed against him for challenging the 2020 election. The Democrats held two years of J6 Hearings and provided Democrat Prosecutors & Judges with ‘evidence’ with which to convict the J6 Rally goers. Now it turns out they hid or deleted all the exculpatory evidence. They are so powerful and their pressure is so strong, that even after Republicans won the House, they are still unable to expose all the 40,000 hours of evidence that is still available. All this is proof of the massive oppression of the few Conservatives left.
Conclusion: We simply do not have the right to silence and oppress the few remaining Conservatives for the benefit of those Democrats who are going to commit treason and who are deliberately going to vote to keep our Demonic oppressors in power against us.

Trump is Not a Threat to Democracy, Unless You Count His Do-Nothing Tenure

Indeed, Trump got rolled, but here's specifically what DeSantis said:
"I think Donald Trump didn't take some of the action he could have constitutionally taken. I look back: 'What didn't he do?'"
Then DeSantis lists the fact that Trump didn't build the wall, he didn't fire bad people, and he didn't really break the administrative state. "He deferred a lot of his presidency to these people that he now criticizes."

Somewhate off-color, but the truth must be told. Trump got taken to the cleaners. He was ruled over, and over-ruled by, bad people in the White House. He brought them into his inner circle! He let bad people come into the inner workings of the executive branch, and too many of them put their own little, petty interests ahead of the well-being of the country.
The more I look back on the Trump Presidency, the more I see a Reality TV Show host who was in it for the fame, the glam, the glory. He wanted to take nice photos of himself in front of leaders, heads of state, etc. But he was not interested in actually governing.
And that's where Governor--yes GOVERNOR--Ron DeSantis steps in to stand in the gap, to fill the void.

Trump stood by and just watched. He allowed police stations burn to the ground. He allowed autonomous zones to spring up in major cities, as well, which permitted outright lawlessness in their boundaries. How many innocent lives died? How much corruption and dysfunction did Trump allow to fester in these cities without taking any action at all?
In stark and welcome contrast during the George Floyd riots of 2020, Gov. DeSantis took charge immediately, shut down violent protests, and even called a special session of the state legislature to stiffen penalties for rioting in the state of Florida. That is leadership.
For the record, shortly after his own inauguration, Argentina's President Javier Milei has issued clear orders and directives against violent, disruptive protests in his country. He has gone so far as to threaten protesters, individual and group, with costly fees if they force the government to come out in large number, in force to protect the country.

That's the promise that governments should make the general public when law and order is threatened in the streets. DeSantis got the job done in Florida, and Milei is getting the job done in Argentina. That is leadership! Trump's tenure was marred by his inaction and his do-nothing stances throughout 2020. Not acceptable. We can do better, but no one should call Trump a dictator!
