"Israel to speed up settlement building in West Bank" Response

After trading one thousand Palestinian terrorists and criminals for one Israeli soldier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to push the construction of 22,000 housing units in East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

The Israeli leader is making this move in the wake of UNESCO according the Palestinians statehood status.

In an apparent effort to shore up moxie after one of the most flagrant acts of appeasement in the Jewish State's history, Netanyahu is creating more problems for his government and his nation, and this time while advocating a moral and legal measure in the best interests of his people.

What's the point of building a slew of housing units when they are certain to be the target of the "freedom fighters" which were just released not one month ago? Why bother setting up more Israeli settlers to be the unwitting targets of a self-aggrandizing state-like entity which has bypassed Israel in the most insulting fashion for statehood?

The Jews have every right to build new settlements in Jewish sections of the Jewish state. They also have a right to depend on reliable protection from their government, which will safeguard their building and dwelling. In a region so fraught with conflict, back-biting, and double-dealing, one wonders if the final battle of Armageddon is not looming too far away in the distance. No doubt, though, pressing against the illegitimate Palestinian Authority while handing back to them seasoned and hardened foot-soldiers to carry one Islamic jihad is not going to be a winning policy for Israel, a nation which desires and deserves safe and certain borders free of marauding insiders intent on dissolving Israel and pushing the Jews into the sea.
