Pennsylvania GOP: Holiday Care Packages for Our Troops

This holiday season, the Pennsylvania Republican Party is partnering with Move America Forward (MAF) to send care packages to our active duty military members serving overseas -- we invite you to join us in this collection effort. It is vitally important for us to show our appreciation to our brave men and women in uniform, especially during the holiday season while our military members are away from their friends, family, and loved ones. 

We will be collecting items at the locations below this Wednesday, November 15th, until Saturday, December 2nd. Additionally, we will be hosting Packaging Parties on December 2nd & 3rd, so that the packages arrive oversees before the holidays!

Most nonperishable items are appreciated; however, below is a list of priority items: 

Snacks: beef jerky, packaged cookies, snack cakes, cheese crackers, mixed nuts, non-chocolate candy, protein or energy bars, chewing gum, sunflower seeds, nuts, instant lunches, condiment packets
Beverages: gourmet coffee, powdered Gatorade, powdered coffee creamer, powdered hot chocolate, powdered hot apple cider
Household items: baby wipes, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, foot cream or powder, SPF lip balm, sunscreen, bug repellent, laundry detergent, military boot socks, cough drops, eye drops, aspirin
Leisure items: magazines and books, playing cards, phone cards, batteries, movies, writing materials, stamps
Other resources and gifts: military crisis line/OneSource information, seasonal items, K-9 care packages, including eye-protecting “Doggles” and KONG Classic durable dog toys.
