The link is about a snippet of the AI pestilence & none of it has to do with love, justice, community, or fraternity - (and yes, the human {& non-human animal}) brain/mind is a spontaneous, spectacular phenomenon & the only entity that thinks - ie, is capable of thought)
Tech is a pestilence, but when the whole world is doing it, it's imperative to not be left behind
Nonetheless, the trajectory is lame.
AI will make the overlords more complete in power
& the suffering rank & file will PAY for the billionaires to be ever more completely in control, & rich & opulent, & living a life quite distinct from the rank & file.
The sucker-sap everyday people will foot the bill for the energy & water costs!! You can't beat that with a stick.
And why does environment suddenly not matter?
The overlords say "Give us any energy source."
& water is so limited & precious - for drinking!
AI: perfect for billionaires; more stress, control, & cost for everyday people.
