The Remembrance Project Celebrates Rescission of DACA

The Remembrance Project's Statement on President Trump Rescinding DACA    Washington, DC - The Remembrance Project's National Director and Co-founder Maria Espinoza released the following statement pursuant to the Trump Administration's announcement that it has rescinded Obama's illegal and unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program: "The Remembrance Project commends the Trump administration's decision to rescind Obama's unconstitutional and unlawful program known as DACA.  President Trump has met an important milestone in keeping his campaign promise to us, to our 'stolen lives' families, and to all Americans. The previous administration's unilateral circumvention and disregard for laws and procedures in place to safeguard our communities resulted in:  uptick in MS-13 gangs human trafficking the explosion of opioid drugs in schools job loss, and the most egregious of all- the loss of lives like the recent killings of Cathy Dolan, Domonick Ceceri and Artem Ziberov who were all killed by DACA-age illegal aliens. We thank and support President Trump and his administration for their commitment to restoring the rule of law."
