More Winning: Texas Sanctuary City Ban Reinstated, Travis County Complies

The winning never ends.

So much winning!

Despite the worst-laid plans of left-wing thugs and abuse of the federal court system, the 5th Federal Circuit Court struck down the hold on Texas' SB 4, the Sanctuary City Ban.

Travis County Sheriff Sally Hernandez was defiant, refusing to comply with state law and wanted to pander to the illegal aliens and their political enablers.

Breitbart reported:

A Texas sheriff is actively promoting visas to the illegal immigrant community. The sheriff is preparing pamphlets advising certain illegal immigrants how they might qualify for special visas.

Travis County Sheriff “Sanctuary Sally” Hernandez came up with the idea of instructing crime victims who happen to be in the country illegally on how they can apply for a “U visa,” Fox 7 in Austin reported. Merely filing out the application for the visa, intended to help true crime victims, is enough to at least temporarily block immigration officials from deporting an applicant.

Can you believe this? The chief law enforcement officer in the county refused to protect the citizens in the county from illegal aliens. She was actively trying to keep them in the state, in the country illegally!

Incredible.

But We the People refused to back down, and we will not allow these corrupt politicos to get away with their lawless disregard for our nation's immigration laws or their solemn duties to protect Americans.

Now that the 5th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld key parts of the SB 5 Sanctuary City ban, check out how Sanctuary Sally is changing her tune:

Travis County Sheriff Sally Hernandez has ordered her office to honor all federal immigration detention requests placed on local jail inmates after a federal appeals court ruling on Monday allowed parts of the controversial “sanctuary cities” ban Senate Bill 4 to go into effect.
The appellate court’s order essentially undoes a signature policy of Hernandez’s campaign for sheriff that became a flash point for the Texas GOP this year. Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office said it will begin enforcing that portion of the law immediately.
“Our policy has been updated to comply with the findings of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals,” Hernandez said in a news release.
This is so much good news!

No sanctuary cities! Americans First!
