He was a long-standing member, and officer, the California Democratic Party.
Now he's an assemblyman in the 59th district.
His district takes in Florence-Firestone, and much of the region is run-down and impoverished
South Los Angeles County gets little to no love and support from local and state officials.
What makes all of this worse?
Jones-Sawyer faces no opponent in his race for state assembly. Not even another Democrat, and not even another write-in!

Jones-Sawyers claims to care about the status of boys and men of color.
And yet ... he knows nothing about legislation which will deprive those same individuals of a quality education.
He knows nothing about a bill which is a full-on attack against the First Amendment.
Instead of answering our questions, he ignored us, repeatedly.
