At the February 8th, 2016 Cudahy City Council meeting, one of the closed sessions items tomorrow will focus on the salary and benefits for the Cudahy City Manager:
Jose Pulido |
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6(a) –
Conference with Labor Negotiator Regarding
Unrepresented Employee
Title of Position Subject to Negotiation: City Manager
Designated Representative: City Attorney
Sources have informed me that this man is slated to receive over $200,000 year.
He is managing a city only square mile in size.
How about the city manager in Torrance. CA? How much does he make per year?
From the Daily Breeze:
Still, with an annual wage and benefits package of $378,902 in 2013, according to figures on theTransparent California website, Jackson acknowledges he is compensated handsomely after a career with Torrance that will reach 50 years in 2016.
After fifty years of service, plus the benefits, he makes nearly $400k, and he turned down a pay raise. Torrance is five times the size of Cudahy, with a lower property tax rate, too.
Cudahy City manager Jose Pulido is way overpaid as it is, and the city council wants to pay him more?!
Contact the Cudahy City Council and demand that the practice fiscal discipline, stop overpaying their city staff at residents' and taxpayers' expense!

ReplyDelete"The City Council even though young, needs to ensure that there is NO pay raise for this CM. He is overpaid as it is for a four day work week!"
