Response to "GOP twisting Jesus' teachings"

I do not recall reading anywhere in the Four Gospels of the New Testament where Jesus espoused any other political philosophy beyond:

"Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's." (Luke 20:25)

Mrs. Conley's rhetoric will attract many heated responses. Rather than attacking her own misapplication and distortion of Holy Scripture, let the readers consider the worth and well-being of the current field of presidential candidates.

Instead of judging the character of a candidate's candidness about his faith, let every voter reflect on the candor of each presidential contender, including the merits of their argument, presentation, and experience.

If they have faith without works, then let those dead-end campaigns bury their dead.

If they say but do not, then do not vote for them.

If they heed the will of the people and do it, them let them be blessed with nomination and election.
