I have an answer to Laura Ingraham’s question of—“what’s your main objection to these drag queen story hours that are popping up all over the country?”
I’d say that this series of events that have been taking place at libraries and bookshops around the country in which drag queens speak with children about their culture and experiences—is just a further attempt by the 🏳️🌈 LGBTQ Movement to normalize a conduct that contradicts “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God,” “who’s authority” said George Mason, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and author of the 1772 Virginia State Bill of Rights—“can be superseded by no power on earth."
Mason, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and author of the 1776 Virginia Constitution’s Declaration of Rights, Article I Section 15, said further that:
“No free Government, nor the Blessings of Liberty, can be preserved to any people, but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, virtue, a frequent recurrence to Fundamental Principles; and by the recognition by all citizens that they have duties as well as rights, and that such rights cannot be enjoyed save in a society where Law is respected and...observed.”
SO WHERE IS MY RIGHT TO DISAPPROVE OF THIS PUBLIC DISPLAY OF CONTRADICTION TO NATURAL LAW, WITHOUT BEING LABELED AS A HATE-MONGER?
* DR. LARRY ARNN, President of Hillsdale College, cites James Madison's thoughts on why limited government is so necessary to preserving the civil society in Federalist #51:
“Men are not angels; their passions and self-interest often get the better of their reason and sense of justice, so we need government in order to protect our [Natural] Rights against those who would take them away."
But for the same reason, Madison writes, “Government must be limited because people in Government have passions and interests too.”
For example, at a time when Slavery was legal in different parts of the US, NOT ALL of the American Founders’ held them; but there was one thing they all had that today’s generation lacks. The virtue to submit themselves—as the 6th-American President, John Quincy Adams once noted—to “the laws of God, which they all, and by the laws of the Gospel, which they nearly all, acknowledged as the rules of their conduct." This is the organizing principle for limited Constitutional Government. The best messages to impress on young minds are found in the American stories that tell how our forefathers “secured the Blessings of Liberty to themselves and their future generations,” based on a Higher Moral Law.
But James Madison warned us of the proliferation of FACTIONS—which are a great enemy to Liberty in a civil society—like what we are seeing in the LGBTQ Movement today. They are more “united and actuated by a common impulse of passion, or self interest”—to impress on young minds that it is OK to be ruled by emotion rather than virtuous reason.
The Drag Queen Story hour is therefore adverse to the Natural rights of innocent-impressionable children 👶; and must be restrained to only apply to consenting adults.
