We the People Rising Chant to Corona Illegals: "Racists Go Home!"

Turnabout is fair play, in my opinion.

Illegal aliens and their enablers gathered on the steps of Corona City Hall to demand a Clean DREAM Act. Who do they think they are? This country is not their country, and these Congressmen do not represent them. They represent American citizens, taxpayers, and men and women who live in this country legally.

Shame on these arrogant illegal aliens!

They love playing the race card, too. Luis Nolasco shared in Rialto, CA, that "white people only have five years left", a very offensive, racist remarks which exposes the Brown Supremacy agenda for what it is.

It's unreal the kind of abuse that American citizens have tolerated from illegal aliens and the enabling organizations which have gathered around them and championed their cause. This is just wrong, and we should not tolerate it.

So, as they took down their Christmas celebration, We the People Rising chanted right back at them:

"Racists, go home! Racists, go home!"

We the People Rising Sing Christmas Carols at Rep. Ken Calvert's Office

HO HO HO!

We the People Rising were in a merry mood outside of Congressman Ken Calvert's office in Corona.

He has been a reliable ally against illegal immigration, open borders, and amnesty for his entire career in Congress. We expect him to stand strong against illegal immigration and to ensure that DACA dies a quiet death. American children are suffering in this country, and American workers are finally getting back into the workforce, making their way in the world again.

We need to keep it that way.

The United States is a great country because of the rule of law, and we have so much to celebrate because men and women can celebrate the holidays, including the Birth of the Savior who became man to save us from our sin and grant us new life in Himself.

We welcome the restoration of our borders, our country, and our culture, and we celebrate every representative who serves the needs of citizens rather than pandering to the loudest interest groups screaming at their doorsteps.

Center-Left Candidate Matt Woody Challenging Ken Calvert, Evasive on Key Issues

Matt Woody attended the pro-illegal protest in front of Congressman Ken Calvert's office last night.

I have to say I was surprised that any candidate challenging Calvert would show up in the first place.

He calls himself an independent, and he offered to answer some questions about his policy views and stances.

Actually, he spent more time going back and forth on issues, refusing to answer some fundamental issues, like his stance on abortion. He had voted for Gary Johnson in the Presidential election last year.

But he refused to label himself a libertarian. He wanted to avoid labels and sound as open as possible to every issue. He seemed more interested in stating platitudes and giving generic comments to be pleasing to everyone.

That's the last thing we need in government. We need leaders, men and women who will make clear-cut decisions and do what is right, honoring our rights and liberties as accorded by God and recorded by the United States Constitution.

Later in the evening, he told me that he stands with the Constitution. What does that even mean, since he refused to articulate the key issues under attack from the Left. He announced that he is a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment, and that's nice. When I asked him about the national reciprocity bill which passed the House earlier this month, Woody admitted that he didn't know anything about it.

Not very knowledgeable. That bothers me. Then he started celebrating with the rest of the pro-illegals and the DACA kids. He actually chanted and jumped around with them!

He doesn't have my vote. Bye, Matt!

Eric Linder Embraced SEIU Endorsement. How Did That Work Out?

One Republican in the state of California embraced the endorsement of the Service Employees International Union:

Eric Linder.

How did that work out for him?

He lost.

Eric Linder

Here are the numbers which show by how much he lost:

Sabrina Cervantes
(Party Preference: DEM)              70,599   53.8%

Eric F. Linder

(Party Preference: REP)                60,745   46.2%

What did the Orange County Register have to say about Linder?

Several times in the last year, Assemblyman Eric Linder, R-Corona, pushed the green “yes” button on his desk when most of his Republican colleagues pressed “no.”

He broke from his party to vote for labor-backed bills requiring more disclosure of health care rates, new layoff protections for civil servants and a system for workers to collect unpaid wages from employers.

Notice that Linder was voting for Big Labor interests.

Those interests are not in concert with the Republican Party.

Those interests are not in concert with the best interests of middle class.

In fact, the labor union agenda is less and less supportive of the needs of working Californians!

The OC Register articles continues:

California’s largest public employee union supports tax increases and government spending, so it usually finds more in common with Democrats. Its endorsement of Linder – the son of a Mexican immigrant who first won election pledging not to raise taxes – has left some politicos scratching their heads, and others wondering if it signals an emerging trend of labor making nice with the GOP.

“He is the kind of guy who is going to start changing the Republican Party,” said SEIU’s political director, Alma Hernandez. “We’re willing to spend money and help good Republicans get elected.”

Does anyone not see the issues with this affiliation?

Linder had pledged not to raise taxes.

Then he turns around and supports the tax hikes!

By the way, the SEIU is aggressive as well as liberal. They have blocked streets, harassed taxpayers. They threatened to go on strike earlier this month.

He also voted for SB 10, the bill that allowed illegal aliens to purchase health insurance on the Obamacare state exchanges.

Unbelievable!

Sources from the Riverside area--where Eric Linder represented--noticed that he had not prepared any kind of volunteer base or GOTV operation.

I guess he thought that the SEIU would meet all those needs.

Guess what? It did not work.

Linder lost.

Check out the union's agenda in supporting Linder:

“We’re not going to endorse a Republican just to endorse a Republican,” Araby said. “They are going to have to want a relationship with us and think about how they can best represent our members.”

Turning Republicans into unions puppets--that was the name of the game.

This kind of political double-dealing has plagued Republicans looking for more power and influence in the state of California.

This one more misguided example of the bad advice that out-of-touch consultants and liberal-leaning GOP donors are embracing.

Identity politics and special interest pandering is not going to save the California GOP.

It sure did not help Linder, who lost an assembly seat with a R+5 registration!

Awful.

Final Reflection

What have we learned from Linder's mistakes?

I hope that Republican leadership in the state of California realize that outreach for the sake of outreach is meaningless in the long run.

Inclusiveness absent from principle is counter-productive and even destructive.

Republicans run for office on a set of promises, They have to keep those promises.

The Republicans running for local or state office cannot arrogantly assume that Republican voters will hold their noses for key vote-betrayals.

No. They won't.
