Reluctant Cultural Warrior

Let us stop fighting the press.

Let us fight the good fight of faith.

Rather than hoping that everyone will play fair, let us accept once and for all that fairness is an impossibility, especially when for those who are willing to believe, they can reign in life through the grace accorded by the atoning death of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

We can still speak the truth to power. Though we must render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, let us never forget that everything ultimately belongs to God, who has ultimate dominion over the world. He imparted His sovereignty to Adam, who in turn forfeited this investment to Satan when he ate of the Forbidden Fruit. Now, by grace through faith can reign in Christ, who is seated at the Right Hand of the Father, visiting His power and dominion through all who believe on Him.

This is the message which everyone deserves to hear. That their sins are forgiven them through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, that in His death, through His resurrection, He has overcome every evil, every folly in the world.

We do not have to be cultural warriors, like Andrew Breitbart. In Christ, we can be more than conquerors, and the One who has redeemed us has overcome the world.
