VIDEO: Constituents dropped by Rep Lou Correa's campaign donor, Edwards Lifesciences, and met with a senior director. A packet of information about the political controversy Rep Lou Correa created with his displaying of the Statue of Liberty in Muslim hijab was presented to the senior director. After the meeting with the staff of the campaign donor, the constituents visited Rep Lou Correa's Santa Ana district office to inform Rep Lou Correa about the visit to the campaign donor and to leave a copy of the information packet along with business cards from Edward's Lifesciences. The staff locked the group out and forced them to slip their information packet under the door! Next, a TAKE IT DOWN rally with the banner was staged in front of the locked door. The head of security arrived on scene.

CONSTITUENTS VISITED REP LOU CORREA'S CAMPAIGN DONOR
Mike McGetrick, Raul Rodriguez, Deann D'Lean and Robin Hvidston paid a visit to Rep Lou Correa's campaign donor, Edwards Lifesciences, located in Irvine, CA. The company produces medical devices and technology for cardiovascular patients. Two weeks ago, the group visited the campaign donor, Cordoba Corporation, in order to inform the donor about the political controversy involving Rep Lou Correa.
At Edwards Lifesciences, the group met with Senior Director Sarah Huoh and presented an information packet with details of the congressman's displaying of a student painting of the Statue of Liberty wearing a Muslim hijab. Articles about the political controversy were available in the packet as well as a letter signed by constituents, asking their congressman to remove the painting.
After the visit to the donor's office, a copy of the letter and information packet was hand delivered to Rep Lou Correa's district office. The staff members would not open door and would not send a staff member outside of the office to meet with the group. They were forced to slide their materials under the door. The signature Take It Down banner was displayed outside of the locked door until the head of security arrived on scene.
Plans are "in the work" to visit more of Rep Lou Correa's donors. Stay tuned.
