I think Missouri will be the battleground that will "Show Me" and the rest of the country that the govenment is about protecting our rights, not the intererst of political elites.
Todd Akin received the very endorsement which makes him the better candidate for the Senate seat.
McCaskill is going to suffer the same fate as Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, a Mid-Western Democratic Moderate who insisted on voting with her party in Washington, then downplay selling out her conservative credentials to the voters at home.
Tom Daschle of South Dakota faced the same dilemma after years of going along with the Beltway flow of back-scratching and pork-barrel spending.
Mr. Akin will ride out this storn, and McCaskill will be packing up and heading back to St. Louis for good.
