Whether the Sumo Wrestler from Trenton runs as Romney's running mate or not, Chris Christie has emboldened the Tea Party and enlarged the GOP's outreach to disaffected Democrats and independents who are looking for leadership, not follower-politicians who have contented themselves to do just enough to stay in office, even though they have done nothing to stave the deficits, debt, and financial destruction looming over this country.
Even if Christie does not join the GOP ticket, he has more than assured the country that he -- whom many have unfairly styled a New England moderate -- will be a more than worthy successor to the Presidency after Massachusetts-Technocrat Romney's administration.
