The Palestinians are not dedicated to anyone's security, their own included.
Parents are training their children to kill themselves and take as many Jews and Israelis with them when they detonate themselves in public places.
They have no right or reason to petition entry into the UN Security Council, one of the most misnamed Orwellian titles in geopolitics.
Far from securing the world, the UN Security Council does not keep peace among its members states, but looks askance as marauding dictators take down their own dissenting peoples. Witness the atrocities in Rwanda 1995 and Sudan 2005 for examples of their armed indifference to the plight of displaced peoples around the world.
When the inhabitants of the West Bank and Gaza respect the lives of their own people and those inhabiting Israel, then they can have some reasonable assurance of respect from the international community, though they would be foolish to think that they could every achieve statehood in the near future.
