Cain on Blacks and Conservatives

"[Blacks] have been brainwashed into not being openminded, not even considering a conservative point of view." Herman Cain

Brainwashing is one thing, refusal to hear another point of view is something more directly, yet can be remedied one voter at a time.

Still, it is refreshing to hear a black politicians criticizing the near knee-jerk liberalism of 90% of the black community.

Why do minorities continue to elect race-biting fire-eaters like Congresswoman Maxine Waters? Why do they insist on trusting their affairs to the state, and agency which spends more time circumventing around its dysfunction or covering up its corruption?

They have nothing to lose if they opened their minds to free market principles, policies which would undo the state apparatus which currently prevents them from enrolling their children in schools of their choice, which frustrates job creation, which enables dependency with welfare checks and handouts.
