What Happened to LA County For Trump/MAGA Movement?

Laurel Ho, one of the most committed conservatives in Southern California, reposted this photo on Facebook today.

It brought back a lot of memories and invited some reflection.

Let's start with the photo itself.

This was taken in early 2018 at Tom and Cindy Greene's home in Culver City, CA.

Robert Herrerra of New York State is standing to the left of me, and Harim Uzziel Vargas, although everyone knew him by Uzziel, is on my other side.

In late 2017, Harim found out about Robert Herrera via social media, and they connected for a few days, then Robert started visiting Los Angeles and getting involved in Trump events.

The story with Harim is a lot longer. I first found him on Facebook in 2016, and I was really surprised to see a guy who was not just Hispanic, but Jewish, a cholo type, and he was a big Trump supporter!

Quite a combination, to put it mildly.

We friended each other on Facebook, although he would share with me later on that he saw the stuff I was doing with We the People Rising, fighting illegal immigration while protesting in city council meetings and other government board meetings throughout Southern California.

The first time we met in person was in late January 2017, when we counter-protested the Soros-funded protests at LAX, raising hell about President Trump's travel ban, in which Trump used the exact same countries that President Obama had targeted in his own travel ban.

We were surrounded, clearly outnumbered by the anti-Trump fanatics crowding the sidewalks and even the streets, all throughout LAX. We persevered, and then we held our own Trump rally at LAX airport the next year.

Harim and I, along with the many members of We the People Rising, started connecting and congregating around more Trump events. We spoke out at the LA County Board of Supervisors when they were taking aggressive steps to counter the first Trump administration's lawful efforts to curtail illegal immigration into our country. Our social media presence group, and lots of people reached out to us, wanting to get involved.

It was a great time, for sure!

More people started coalescing around us in Los Angeles County after our protest at LAX. There were lots of people that I connected with, including Harim's friends, as well as other contacts who were active in the Trump movement, going to the rallies and protests throughout the city of Los Angeles. Lots of Trump supporters gathered together on March 25, 2017, marching all the way to Trump's star near Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood.

But what happened to the movement? What happened to the whole LA County for Trump organization?

The first thing that comes to mind, at least for me, is that I started focusing on specific efforts, like shutting down SB 54, the sanctuary state law. The CA state legislature shoved that awful policy onto the state despite widespread outrage and opposition to the law.

The protests went from confronting bad city councils which were embracing policies to protect illegal aliens, to city councils that were taking a stand against illegal immigration and calling on the state or the federal government to do something about SB 54. Many of those protests started up in early 2018, and then the larger group of us started travelling all over Southern California, calling on city councils to register their opposition to the law or to ignore compliance with the law.

During this time, Robert and Harim started behaving badly.

In early 2018, Harim and I coordinated with other Trump supporters to set up a protest outside of US Senator Dianne Feinstein's office, so that we could pre-empt Islamic militant Linda Sarsour from taking up space in front of the office. We beat her to the location, and we force Sarsour and her hateful leftists to protest across the street. At that meeting, I remember talking with Harim about the growing anti-Semitism from some of the Trump "supporters" who were also going to our events. It was becoming a noticeable problem.

And one of the most notorious examples of this was Robert Herrera himself. He started bashing Jews and talking up all the hollow anti-Jewish talking points, claiming that "The Jews" control the media, academia, etc.

When I showed Harim all the stuff that he had been posting, and I then shared it with other members of our "LA County for Trump" coalition, we distanced ourselves from him, and he ended up disappearing for good.

Things fell apart with Harim when he started getting into arguments and fights with other Trump supporters in Southern California. He had quite a temper, and he also had a drinking problem. A number of times, he went on YouTube or Facebook Live and would have an alcohol-induced meltdown.

The last time we talked, or rather texted, to each other was in mid-2018. He was posting some negative comments on my Instagram account, saying that certain people were not part of "LA County for Trump." Another lady in our larger team commented: "Can we stop with all the drama?"

I texted Harim privately, and I told him to refrain from attacking fellow Trump supporters on my social media. He got really upset, telling me that he had always been there for me, and that I should stand by him when he has a problem with someone. That is a game I choose not to play. He didn't like that, so he cut me off.

He ended up cutting off a lot of people in the LA County for Trump movement.

From that point on, I was more focused on results, even if it meant getting different cities to take a stance against SB 54. I travelled to more cities throughout Southern California. I got really tired of the rallies and the protests just for the sake of sharing my views. I wanted to accomplish policy goals.

Also, during an eighth month period, from late November 2017 to 2018, I was travelling to other places. I went to North State (Siskiyou County) twice, and I went to Arizona twice in 2018. I was doing more stuff, but I also ran into another problem: money. I had left my marketing job in March 2017, and then I was working as an independent journalist and activist. People were donating money to pay for my trips and other Trump-related activities, and I also spent whatever money I saved.

Finally, I got hired by MassResistance to be a full-time activist director in July, 2018 and I have been doing that ever since. My new job had me focusing a lot more on organizing parents and other activists around the country to fight the LGBT agenda. I even started working with legislators in different states to pass pro-family legislation.

As you can imagine, I didn't have much time to do Trump-related stuff anymore. The last time I did any activism connected with We the People Rising was in May, 2019. By then, I felt that the repeated appearances at town halls and local government meetings had really run its course. Many of the activists I had been working with were not committed to growing the team or getting clear goals in place to accomplish, so I put aside all off the volumteer activism and focused on MassResistance.

So, for what it's worth, that's the story of what happened to LA County for Trump, certainly as far as I'm concerned.

Happy Thanksgiving 🙏🏻 Precious Child of God

Dear Beloved Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

Praying you are doing well this Thanksgiving Season.  It is always good to be thankful 🙏🏻 for all God provides.  As the Bible says;

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." ><> Philippians 4:6-7

"Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song." ><> Psalm 95:2

30 Thanksgiving Worship Songs to Give THANKS and PRAISE to GOD

bOb and I are doing fairly well as we are being delivered by Jesus daily with His presence.  To God Be All The Glory!!! 😇 God has humbled us by disabling our 9 month old Frigidaire refrigerator in our house, so we are running to our 25 year old Amana refrigerator in the garage to get cold food from the outdoor refrigerator.  Such is life in the Ellis household.  For Thanksgiving we will probably eat out since the refrigerator does not work.

We pray you have an awesome Thanksgiving filled with gratitude from answered prayers.  Remember God will never ever leave or forsake you.  God loves you and we are thankful & love you too.  Keep in touch and let us know if you have any prayer needs.

Love from your brothers in Christ,

Your LogoServant Brothers Pledged

to serve in Jesus’ Name

DO NO TALK: What Happened to MTG?

MassResistance Confronting vicious public anti-Catholic bigotry by leftists

Radical congregation attacks Catholicism in largely Catholic Boston suburb

The leftist group did not expect a community protest organized by MassResistance

November 20, 2025
ALT TEXT In Massachusetts, they've gotten used to easily getting away with public anti-Catholic bigotry. But not this time!

Leftists are no longer content with simply pushing the LGBT agenda onto conservative religious believers. They’ve escalated their attacks on religion and God. They’re engaging in gleeful public displays of bigotry meant to anger and humiliate faithful people in their community. But MassResistance activists are letting them know that regular citizens won’t stand for it.

A loathsome, offensive “church” event

Melrose, Massachusetts is a suburb north of Boston (population ~29,400). Catholics make up the largest faith community in the city at about 40 percent.

Almost two weeks ago, MassResistance was contacted by “Patrick,” one of our long-time supporters in Melrose and a devout Catholic. He was distraught. The far-left Unitarian Universalist church located across the street from the Melrose Public Library was putting on an unbelievably offensive and disgusting event. It was open to the public. The church was advertising it on signs, on flyers, and through social media as one of its “Thoughtful Thursday” events.

ALT TEXT The flyer that was sent across social media inviting everyone in town to their depraved and offensive event.

The so-called “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” are an LGBT group of evil and depraved men who dress up as caricatures of Catholic nuns and mock the Catholic religion, its prayers, and its traditions. They show up at gay pride parades and other events across the country. They often advertise themselves as a charity that helps the poor and does “good deeds.” But that is a front for their actual extremely offensive activity.

The Melrose Unitarian Universalist church was inviting the public to an event there, featuring two of the “Sisters” (both sporting full beards) for an hour or two of “joyfully” bashing Catholicism. It was titled “Making Resistance Fun,” apparently “resisting” what they consider to be the backward, ignorant, and unenlightened beliefs of religious Catholics in their community. They call this “creative activism” in drag.

ALT TEXT Signs on nearby streets advertising the event. "Drag Nuns: Make Resistance Fun! Thursday November 13, 7 pm."

Pulling people together

It’s hard to imagine that people would do this to their neighbors. But judging from what the church was advertising, these leftists believe that religious Catholics are a lower form of humanity. It didn’t appear that the church anticipated any negative reaction or pushback.

We had only a few days before the event to get something together. So we worked with Patrick to get Catholics from across town, including from the Catholic group American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property, to organize an energetic protest on the sidewalk right in front of the church, before and during the event.

Taking it right to them!

The evening of the event, Thursday, November 13, over 30 people were on the front sidewalk. They weren’t just meekly protesting – they were bold! Most of the time, they prayed the Rosary and other Catholic prayers over a loudspeaker. And anybody driving by could read their banner and see why they were there.

ALT TEXT The protest was right outside on the sidewalk - loud and strong!
ALT TEXT One of the "Sisters" goes into the church.

The church said that 35 people joined the “Sisters” at the event. We were told that the church even bussed in a youth group (and a sign outside seemed to confirm that).

ALT TEXT Apparently, this is where the youth group bus dropped them off for the event that evening.

The church reacts

Leftists in greater Boston are accustomed to getting their way everywhere without any problems. So the Melrose church was not expecting people in the community to boldly stand up to their hatred and bigotry. They were clearly unnerved when it happened. The leftists also seemed jarred that the protesters were loud and resolute (while, of course, not physically threatening as leftists often are).

The next day the church published an absurd and hypocritical article about the protest on their website. They said that the only message the “sisters” delivered was about charity work, and claimed that it was the protesters’ banner which was “insulting.” They said that they tried to converse with the protesters, but that the protesters wouldn’t stop “chanting” their prayers. But we were told that no one from the church approached the protesters.

The church’s article ended with a message in line with the Left’s toxic and dishonest agenda:

We believe that now more than ever, it’s important to show solidarity with the LGBTQIA community. To counter the protesters, we are sharing resources on Fighting Anti-LGBTQ+ Grooming Rhetoric and raising funds for the Boston order of Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

In other words: Let’s keep grooming children with sexual perversions, but proclaim that “grooming rhetoric” is what’s really dangerous.

Note that the church report also references examples of the “charity” work by the “Sisters” – of course, these involve children:

For example, the Boston order [of “Sisters”] runs a gift drive for foster children every year, and they recently played (in full dress) a charity volleyball tournament at the Stoneham and Wakefield Boys and Girls Club.

Final thoughts

Vile attacks on religion and people of faith has been a staple of the American Left for decades. Unfortunately, it is now sweeping into even “respected” areas of the Right. It must be confronted and fought wherever it takes place. Only when that happens will the perpetrators get the message!

The leftists certainly were not expecting any protest this time. We want them to expect it every time they assault Biblical religious communities!

MassResistance: Gay Clubs Disrupt Education Environment

MassResistance Special 10-part Report:

Why LGBT “GSA Clubs” must be banned from all public schools.

Part 3: Disrupting the entire school's educational environment

How national LGBT organizations use local GSA clubs to indoctrinate the entire school – students and staff – with their radical agenda.

November 12, 2025
ALT TEXT Most parents have no idea that this is what their kids are being bombarded with throughout the school year.

Most school clubs just hold regular meetings where the students engage in whatever activity or subject they are focused on. The club is about socializing, fun, and self-development.

GSAs purport to be just like other clubs, but they are vastly different. A major part of the GSA mission is to “create change” throughout the entire school. The goal is for every student and staff member to accept and support the LGBT agenda (including whatever new “identities” are concocted). And no one dares to openly dissent from the GSA message.

The LGBT movement’s radical “change” push is designed to overlay the school’s normal educational environment, implanting its own lessons, values, and “facts.” It is both socially and intellectually disruptive. GSAs have been the Trojan horse for accomplishing this.

Everything a GSA needs to act as the “change agent” is supplied by national LGBT organizations (particularly GLSEN). Since the 1990s, their well-crafted tactics have become aggressive, sophisticated, and psychologically potent. They masterfully leverage their talking points to intimidate and silence any opposition.

GSA school campaigns are shockingly effective even in “red” areas of the country. While all this is happening, most parents have no idea it’s going on.

They use these disruptive “change” tactics:

1. School-wide celebrations and programs around national annual LGBT events

The LGBT movement has created an entire yearly calendar of depraved “events” embracing virtually every aspect of its radical agenda. Each of these annual events is designed to push a particular LGBT idea into the minds of students and staff. It’s done through an aggressive mix of programs, lectures, assemblies, and other activities.

National LGBT organizations provide detailed instructions, materials, and other resources for schoolwide events. GSAs (and their adult leaders) will get approval and support from school administrations to disseminate these materials and help run the activities.

Here are some of the prominent events that GSAs push throughout the school year in schools across the country:

The purpose of these “events” is to indoctrinate and propagandize all students and staff to accept the entire scope of the LGBT agenda. Open dissent or criticism by students or staff is considered “bullying” and can lead to punishment.

These events may be “celebrated” in an especially offensive manner. We’ve seen schools hold a school-wide assembly for “National Coming Out Day” to encourage students to proclaim their “sexual orientation” by going up on stage and receiving applause from the audience. On the “Day of Silence,” GSA clubs would browbeat all students to stay silent for all or part of the day and wear special stickers in support. Some school administrations join with GSAs, holding assemblies to celebrate “Transgender Day of Visibility,” “Harvey Milk Day,” “LGBT Pride Month,” etc.

ALT TEXT GLSEN and other groups supply GSAs with well-crafted materials for their schools.

On other LGBT annual events, schools host panel discussions and outside speakers, allow large displays in the halls, and encourage all students to wear stickers in support of the particular cause. The disruptions are very real!

Here is GLSEN’s current calendar of suggested events. Many schoolwide disruptions are possible!

ALT TEXT A pdf version of the calendar is here.

2. LGBT-themed postings and banners throughout the school

Another tool for creating radical change is the constant sight of pro-LGBT messages throughout the building, especially relating to annual GSA event days or weeks. These include posters, printed messages on the walls, bulletin handouts, and large banners. GSA members and supporters act as foot soldiers for distributing these along with stickers, buttons, or clothing.

These may seem innocuous but definitely affect impressionable kids.

ALT TEXT This is from an "Ally Week" push at a high school in Massachusetts. (It's now called "Solidarity Week.").

3. Designated LGBT “safe spaces” in schools

The GSAs are accomplices to a school administration’s ploy in designating school areas as “safe spaces” where “LGBT students” can feel comfortable. Allegedly, these students are liable to be victims of bullying, critical comments, and other “attacks.” Besides a GSA club, “safe spaces” may include certain classrooms, counselors’ offices, teachers’ offices, library areas, etc. “Safe space” signs are prominently displayed.

This is psychological manipulation aimed at the rest of the student body to view LGBT students as victims who need special protection. It also tells the other students they need to “check” their attitudes for discriminatory thoughts and acts.

ALT TEXT Pro-LGBT school counselors frequently label their offices as "LGBT safe spaces."
ALT TEXT This GLSEN poster outside a middle school's library says, "This is a safe and inclusive space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students and their allies."
ALT TEXT These are on walls and doors in schools across the country.

4. Creating LGBT activist soldiers among GSA club members

A prime use of GSA clubs is to develop an army of LGBT student activists in the school. The national groups have well-developed procedures for accomplishing that.

GSA clubs are essentially LGBTQ indoctrination hubs, pulling children and teenagers into gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender self-identification and activism. The clubs steer them to work hard to influence all students through their assertive presence in the school and aggressive schoolwide campaigns of LGBT programs and events.

A common strategy is to push for change in school policies, framing their demands as ending “discrimination.” They then work to leverage those policies to impact the larger school community’s acceptance of “LGBTQ rights.” Some GSAs may even organize a “Teach the Teachers” staff development day, which focuses on teaching school staff how to be “better allies for LGBTQ+ students.”

Final thoughts

The normal healthy learning environment has been hijacked and seriously degraded in schools around the country by this aggressive and sexually depraved radical national movement.

Probably the most shocking part of all of this is that most parents are unaware that any of this is going on. In fact, much of what we originally uncovered came from conservative teachers secretly passing us information, looking through “gay day” articles in school newspapers, or going to our children’s schools and walking through the halls.
