Billboard Grift Loses Control: Chris Elston Attacks MassResistance Activist for Calling Him Out

Billboard Chris didn't like the fact that I confronted him about supporting the whole LGBT agenda.

The fact that he is OK with homosexuality means that he is OK with the transgenderism nonsense.

You cannot stop the abuse of children if you do not stop the lies.

People are not born homosexual, and they are not born in the wrong body, either.

A Canadian activist shared this video of Billboard Chris attacking the "trans" agenda, as it pertains to kids:

Andrew Gold has not been paying that much attention.

Billboard Chris basically said the same things that he has been saying to everyone else everywhere else.

There is nothing special or dramatic about what he shared before the National Citizens Inquiry or anything else.

He has two daughters, but where are they? Is he taking care of his daughters at all?

I confronted him on this tweet:

It's really interesting that he says that there is no such thing as "being transgender." He has asserted in the past that it is OK for adults to be "transgender."

This is a moral copout of the first order. We cannot accept the homosexual agenda, but then try to go hard-core after the transgender stuff. You have to go after the whole alphabet of corruption, or you are wasting your time.

I have confronted Billboard Chris about this before. You can see my whole report here.

When I confronted him again on X (formerly Twitter) about this, he then deflected saying "There's no such thing as being transgender."

Then he deleted that post.

He then attacked me again:

He calls me "totally pathetic, lying, clump of excrement."

That's how he respond to people who call him out for saying that people are "born that way," i.e. that they are born homosexual.

He literally said to me, on camera, that he has "no problem with the LGB." He only fights againt the T, because it's convenience, and it does not ruffle too many feathers, apparently.

However, you cannot win the fight against the mutilation of children unless you plainly point out that the whole homosexualist movement pushed this transgenderism madness onto the rest of us.

We have the T because of the LGB. Billboard Chris is part of the problem, since he defends the rest of the Alphabet mafia. He clearly asserts that people have no control over whom they love.

That is outrageous. That kind of thinking has also lead to normalizing pedophilia, in that "minor-attracted persons" have no control over their attractions, either.

This is disgusting madness. We cannot allow this to go unchallenged!

Notice also that he accuses me of "fake quotes." You can watch the whole video for yourself:

Then he attacks me with gotcha moment talk and hatred of gay people. Seriously? These attacks are just like the slanders from the left. And talk about narcissistic! I did not come to the Anaheim Convention Center in October, 2022 just to confront Billboard Chris. In fact, I was really hoping that we could have a serious discussion on the whole LGBT issue.

In fact, I spoke with other protesters against the trans movement, and some of them were willing to discuss the reality that "who people love" can change as well.

Notice again that Chris Elson accuses me of "hating gay people." The notion that "gay" is an identity is a large part of this whole lie in the first place! Furthermore, telling the truth is not hate.

Billboard Chris is not interested in the truth. He is interested in the grift, he is interested in being a big center of attention, and he is interested in having this partial cause while refusing to go after the entire problem.

We cannot stand idly by and allow half-measures to ruin the whole effort. Why is any so-called conservative normalizing homosexuality, when they should be focusing on protecting children, families, mothers, fathers, men, women, and society as a whole?

MassResistance Helps New Jersey Non-Profit "Garden State Families"

MassResistance successfully fights corporate “cancel culture”; defends pro-family Christian ministry.

With no warning, the Center for Garden State Families in New Jersey was suddenly without credit card donations – after company determined it was a “reputational risk.”

But after sharp pro-family activism, company offered to bring them back!

October 29, 2024
ALT TEXT The Center for Garden State Families is an unwavering Christian ministry.

Conservatives and pro-family organizations live in fear of being “cancelled” by leftist businesses that provide needed services. Whether it’s loss of credit card processing, advertising revenue, or web hosting, etc. — when it happens, our side usually succumbs. Just complaining doesn’t solve the problem.

Instead, MassResistance believes in confronting “cancel culture” head on. Doing so sends a strong message and brings results. Here’s a recent example.

Greg Quinlan and Garden State Families

Greg Quinlan is the president of Center for Garden State Families, a New Jersey Christian ministry serving families as a religious educational organization promoting the traditional Christian worldview in culture and public policy.

Greg Quinlan, president of the Center for Garden State Families

Greg is a former homosexual who shares his powerful testimony. He was once an aggressive lobbyist for the LGBT movement. Since then he has worked with groups like Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays (PFOX) which ministers to people who have left homosexuality.

A major part of Garden State Families’ financial support comes from donors who have set up recurring monthly credit card donations. For its credit card processing, the organization had been using Pro-Life Payments which describes itself as a Christian company and certainly appeared to be a trustworthy choice.

One day in late August, Greg suddenly noticed that no recurring donations – or any credit card donations at all – were being processed! The organization’s main source of income had simply been shut off. It was alarming. Greg immediately contacted Pro-Life Payments. They had no idea that this had happened, or why it was happening.

Later that day Pro-Life Payments called Greg back. They had been told that Greg’s organization has been flagged as a “reputational risk” to the bank that ultimately handles the credit card payments.

When Greg pressed them for something in writing, Pro-Life Payments forwarded the message they had received:

Here is the further info on the reputational risk. "Merchant account was flagged with an alert for hate/harm. Multiple negative reviews have been observed online. Additionally, this account owner appears to own PFOX (https://www.pfox.org) which promotes controversial viewpoints that present reputational risk."  We will not be opening this merchant account back up for these reasons.

An alert for “hate/harm”? Why is a Christian perspective on helping ex-gays considered a “reputational risk”? What was going on?

As Greg began to learn, Pro-Life Payments is just a re-seller of credit card services. The actual processing and payments are done by Avidia Bank in Hudson, Massachusetts, and its affiliated credit card division, PayCosmos.

It turns out that PayCosmos had engaged some “bots” to scrape the Internet for information on the bank’s credit card processing clients. The company did not even check to see if the reports were accurate. (For example, Greg never “owned” PFOX. He served on their Board.) They decided that a Christian perspective on helping ex-gays constituted “hate” or “harm.”

Without any warning, PayCosmos suddenly shut down Garden State Families’ credit card processing. Moreover, they did not notify Greg or Pro-Life Payments that they’d done that. That is the mindset of leftist corporate America regarding people with traditional values. A pro-LGBT group would never be treated that way.

Greg was able to speak with the head of PayCosmos by phone. He was smug and condescending, Greg told us. He told Greg that his contract allows PayCosmos to shut Greg’s account down at any time without notice and without any reason.

Contacting MassResistance!

Since MassResistance has worked with Greg on various projects over the years, he didn’t hesitate to call us for help.

We have hundreds of supporters and activists in Massachusetts, where Avidia Bank is located. And people have had enough of the corporate cancel culture against Christians! So when MassResistance contacted pro-family people across the state, they pounded Avidia Bank through phone calls, emails, and social media. They threatened to picket the bank’s branches over this.

Clearly, that was a reaction that the bank never expected!

The bank backs down! Offers to bring Greg back.

On October 2, the head of PayCosmos spoke with MassResistance’s Arthur Schaper. He told Arthur that the president of Avidia Bank had called him and said that they were willing to bring back Garden State Families and reinstate their account.

He refused to tell Arthur the specifics of the “information” that caused PayCosmos to shut down Greg’s account. But they were willing to bring him back, he said.

But Greg has moved on to another credit card company.

However, by that time Greg had arranged to move Garden State Families’ credit card processing to another company.

Greg chose Anedot, which is a Christian-based company that has its own bank and credit card processing facility – to provide immunity from the corporate cancellation that happened with Pro-Life Payments.

Unfortunately, the secure process of moving all the monthly credit card accounts to Anedot took several weeks, which we suspect was due to PayCosmos not cooperating properly. But now it’s all done! Greg’s group is getting its funding, and most of the monthly donors have even agreed to make up the difference for the time the system was down!

Final Thoughts

The fact that these companies would consider random Internet searches to be legitimate sources of information says a lot about their actual motives. Everyone knows that a bot could scrape absurd diatribes about most conservative groups from the SPLC, Wikipedia, and the rantings on various LGBT sites that have virtually no basis in truth or reality. Leftist companies, like the mainstream media, simply look for reasons to “cancel” organizations with traditional values.

It’s shockingly difficult to get the conservative and pro-family movement to get over its fears and aggressively stand up to the left’s “cancel culture.” But it must be done.

"Palestinian" is a Mental Illness

Mosab Yousef is an international treasure.

A former Muslim, a former Islamic militant, the son of the Founder of Hamas, Yousef is a Christian who has fled jihad since he was a youth.

He has stood for truth in every instance, standing up to every pro-"Palestinian" militant.

There's a boldness in his assertions, unswayed by the arrogant ignorance of the pro-terrorist Left, which celebrates the destruction of innocents (and innocence) to justify their lack of meaning, purpose, or heart.

For the last six months, I have begun to compare the Wokeness movement with the Palestinian movement.

There is a broad obsession with feelings, identity politics, and conspiracy theories. There is no interest in truth.

Furthermore, what is a "Palestinian"? There is no real border, or language, or culture. It is an astroturf movement created by an Islamic Egyptian pedophile named Yasser Arafat!

That is all!

There is no such thing as a modern "Palestine," since Mandatory Palestine turned into Israel in 1948.

In fact, "Palestinian" is a mental illness, another iteration of the Woke mind virus which is eating up the Western World:
It's time to tell the truth: No Such Thing as Palestinian.

The whole "Palestinian" cause is a mental illness, one based on feelings, identity politics, and conspiracy theories.

The whole "Palestinian" cause is a falsehood. It's a mental sickness which has afflicted refugees and their children in the West Bank and Gaza.

The whole "Palestinian" cause is a fraud, a mental illness based on self-righteousness and fear.

Billboard Grift: Chris Elston Aids LGBT

Chris Elston, aka Billboard Chris, is getting a lot of attention these days.

He is well-known with his ubiquitous "Children cannot consent to puberty blockers" sandwich boards draped around him.

True, children cannot consent to puberty blockers. In fact, adults should not consent them, should not force them on children ... or allow them on themselves, for that matter.

What is really frustrating about people like Billboard Chris, however, is that they are aiding and abetting the LGBT agenda, just "at the speed limit."

In October 2022, I confronted Billboard Chris and another independent vlogger outside of the Anaheim Convention Center. We were all there protesting a national pediatrics conference because this institution was favoring sex mutilation of minors under the guise of "gender-affirming care."

I met some powerful speakers and activists who want to protect children from the transgender cult. I even met some parents who were fighting their ex-spouses. Why? To prevent their ex-wives and ex-husbands from mutilating their kids!

All of these effort are noble and welcome.

Some of the activists wanted to focus only on stopping transgenderism, however. They wanted to draw a distinction between identity and attraction, as though the whole perverted LGBT cult should only focus on the T, but the LGB is A-OK.

When I contested this issue, some of the activist leaders were willing to discuss the issue. They were willing to consider that it was time to get back to normal sexual dynamics in all cases, not just on transgenderism.

Then I confronted Christopher Elston, aka Billboard Chris.

He is a well-known Canadian activist/spokesman fighting the corrupt agenda to push kids into transgenderism. However, I spoke with MassResistance activists who had worked with him in Texas, and they shared that he was OK with same-sex marriage. He thinks that homosexuality is benign, not something that anyone should be concerned about.

When I saw him at the Anaheim Convention Center protests, I approached him and started discussing this issue.

You will note in the video above how he criticizes LGBT activists for shutting down debate, that they refuse to allow other people to discuss issues.

But when I wanted to press him on the lie that people are "born gay," he didn't want to talk about it. He curtly declared "Yes, people are born homosexual, and there is nothing they can do about it."

That is a total lie. There are millions of people around the world who have abandoned the homosexual lifestyle. They get married, and they have children. There is no gay gene, whereas there is plenty of genetic evidence to affirm that an individual is male or female.

But Chris didn't want to talk about it. He shut me down and brushed me aside.

Then the vlogger next to him said: "He's getting paid by the hour."

Was this a joke? Was this a statement of fact? Who knows?

One thing we can attest to, though, is that instead of actually helping children, instead of taking steps to stop this horrible sex mutilation crazy, Billboard Grift Chris Elston goes around the world having conversations with people. He gets to speak on vlogs and podcasts. He gets to give a speech to the UN.

And nothing improves.

Why does this bother me, in particular? Because in his home country of Canada, there are parents who are actually fighting to protect their children, and all of Canada's children. There are parents who have risked fines and even jail time to tell the public about the sex mutilation cult that is invading Canada's public schools and public spaces.

Robert Hoogland is one example: a father from the same province as Billboard Chris (British Columbia). Rob found out that his daughter was getting transitioned in the Delta School District in Surrey, BC without his knowledge or permission. He fought to stop this horrid transition from taking place, but by then his wife had full custody, and the BC trial courts ruled against him. In fact, they placed him under an outrageous gag order, so that he could not talk about this case, including the mutilation of his daughter, without anyone.

Rob defied those court orders, and he took every opportunity he could to alert the public to what was happening to his daughter.

He violated the gag order, and he went to jail. He also faced considerable court costs appealing his conviction and the sentencing imposed on him. He fought the good fight to protect kids, but he struggled to raise money. Why? Because he could not even identify himself!

And then you have Billboard Grift, who gets to scoop up lots of media and money for himself. He gets rich saying that it's not OK to mutilate kids. Whoop-dee-doo. He has two kids of his own, but he is not taking care of them, is he? He's not in British Columbia watching out for their well-being, is he?!

He takes donation money that could go to parents like Rob Hoogland (who is fighting to repeal the gag order on his case, by the way). He is actually doing something to help kids. He has connected with other British Columbia residents to elect better people to the provincial government so that new leaders can end the mutilation of children and the grooming of children in the classrooms.

People like Rob are fighting to make a difference. People like Billboard Grift are just out to make a buck all while aiding and abetting the LGBT agenda--and it's wrong!

RIP Sally Naumann: One of the Most Fearless MassResistance Activists!

If everyone were like Sally, we’d easily win this battle!

October 22, 2024
ALT TEXT Sally Naumann was unafraid to tell the truth in the State House, in writing, or on the TV news. She was an inspiration for all of us!

Our beloved activist Sally Naumann recently passed away at age 93. In a time when so many pro-family people shy away from telling the truth or avoid public activism – fearing the wrath of leftists – Sally is an example for everyone. Well into her 80s, she was one of the best.

Personally, Sally was quiet, cheerful, unassuming, and even-tempered. She never yelled or even raised her voice. But she made a big impact. She was completely principled, fearless, and resolute. And the Massachusetts liberals hated her.

Sally was basically an old-style liberal, not a conservative. She lived in Carlisle, Mass. – a hotbed of leftism. She was a long-time member of the local leftist Unitarian Church. But when a young “gay” man in her neighborhood tragically died of AIDS, she was very moved. She became aware of how homosexuality often leads to terrible health issues, including death. She began to believe strongly that promoting “gay identities” – especially to children – was terribly wrong.

Sally first contacted us in 2004 as “gay marriage” flared up in the state. She wanted to get involved. She said that she was being harassed at church for her views and wanted us to come and speak there. (Of course, the church didn’t allow it.)

At first, she made phone calls for us, did research, and helped with meetings and rallies. But as time went on she was drawn to activism and did a lot more than that.

Sally exposed graphic “Little Black Book,” causing Governor Romney to react

In 2005, Sally went undercover at the homosexual GLSEN-Boston conference at Brookline High School. She picked up a copy of the pornographic and disgusting “Little Black Book,” a homosexual “how to” booklet that was being given to kids there. It caused such outrage that then-Mass. Governor Mitt Romney issued a statement saying: "This is not a state-funded publication. Graphic pornographic material on the gay lifestyle has no place in any school."

This Channel 7 TV report featured Sally (whom they call "Sally Turner") and also Brian Camenker:

VIDEO: TV News report about "Little Black Book" in local high school (2 min 20 sec)

After her State House testimony, Boston Globe attacked Sally in lead editorial

In 2011, a lesbian judge with a history of anti-family judicial activism (and who lived in the same town as Sally) was nominated as Justice for the state Supreme Judicial Court. At the public hearing, Sally calmly testified about the dangers of the LGB lifestyle – and how it shouldn’t be pushed through judicial activism. She was bullied and insulted by the leftist officials there, but it didn’t affect her. A few days later, the Boston Globe attacked her in their lead editorial. But Sally still didn’t back down. She wrote a strongly worded letter to the editor in rebuttal, which the Globe (to their credit) printed.

The Boston Globe attacked Sally in a lead editorial - and she attacked them right back in a letter they were compelled to print!

Formally kicked out of her “inclusive” leftist church for having the wrong opinion!

For nearly 25 years, Sally and her husband had been active members of the Unitarian Church in Carlisle. She served as co-chair of the Parish Committee. But in 2015, while speaking to several people after a Sunday service, she raised concerns about the church’s promotion of the homosexual lifestyle, and the church’s use of the sexually explicit children’s book, It’s Perfectly Normal. For simply saying those things, the church leaders declared her to be “unwelcoming.” After holding a formal “hearing,” Sally was banned from the church. She was told that she was “unwelcome” – and if she entered the church again, they would call the police!

Town erupted against Sally after her letter to the editor. Uproar reported on NBC-TV!

In 2017, Sally became upset that her former church, the Unitarian Church in the center of town, was flying a “gay” rainbow flag out front. She wrote a letter to the editor to the local Carlisle Mosquito newspaper discussing how homosexual behavior can lead to terrible life-ending diseases, and that a church should not be promoting it.

In a left-wing town like Carlisle, that really riled up the residents! In the next two issues of the Mosquito, 16 letters were published that attacked Sally. She was called every horrible name imaginable.

Next to the first batch of letters, the newspaper published a scathing editorial attacking Sally. Among other things, the editors said that Sally’s facts and opinions should be banned from the newspaper in the future. That's because the community must be protected from these views. The unhinged editorial stated:

[T]here are times when a position becomes so repulsive it is no longer suitable for discussion, and perhaps advocacy of homosexuality as a sickness has migrated into that territory.

But the rage didn’t stop there. The angry leftists in town put up hundreds of little rainbow flags alongside the streets all over town – as a “rebuttal” to Sally’s comments!

ALT TEXT Rainbow flags were set up along the streets in Carlisle by angry leftists to "rebut" Sally's facts and opinions.

The uproar from that one letter caused the local NBC-TV Boston news affiliate to report on Sally and the reaction she brought in Carlisle:

VIDEO: NBC-Boston TV covers Sally's letter to the editor! (30 sec)

Note: The report was cut to 30 seconds after it was posted on the NBC site.

Throughout all of this Sally (then 85 years old) didn’t flinch at all. And the story of her upending the town was reported as far away as Romania!

Sally contributed much more!

Sally often went to offices of representatives and senators at the Massachusetts State House to lobby for the pro-family bills we filed – and against the horrible LGBT bills we helped stop. These included the various “transgender rights” bills and the deceptive “anti-bullying” bill.

She fearlessly told the truth in her many testimonies at State House public hearings on LGBT legislation. She even testified at local school committee meetings.

In 2009, Sally testifies at the State House debunking an outrageous "transgender rights" bill (that was eventually derailed).

She went undercover at several GLSEN LGBT teacher conferences, GLAD (pro-gay-marriage legal group) events, and other “Pride” events. She took good photos and notes and collected everything they handed out for our office.

In 2007 Sally took this photo of a man lurking at a "Gay Youth Pride" event in downtown Boston (and who was harassing another MassResistance woman walking around there).

A former career as a scientist

Intellectually, Sally was no slouch. She had a BA in physics from Wellesley College and an MA in physics from Northeastern University. For many years she worked at the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratory, initially in the Cloud Physics Lab and later in the Microwave Physics Laboratory, and later at MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory. They raised two sons.

After 2018, Sally stepped back from activism to care for her husband Art, who had also been a loyal activist. Art passed away shortly before Sally.

Sally’s style of calm, straightforward, and fearless truth-telling in the face of far-left lunacy – and her willingness to step far into enemy territory – had an oversized effect. It’s sad that it’s hard to get people on our side to engage as courageously these days.

We all miss Sally! She was the real deal, and an example for all of us!

MA MassResistance Continues Fighting and Exposing Informal Session Fraud

In unconstitutional “informal sessions,” Mass. Legislature passes far-reaching “midwifery” bill that will affect all residents.

Creates more bureaucracy and regulations, and will increase everyone’s health insurance cost.

Solving this “problem” will lead to more dangerous problems!

October 17, 2924
ALT TEXT The "informal sesson" of the Mass. House on August 15, 2024. Four House members along with staffers "voted" before an empty chamber to pass this toxic bill into law. [Photo from State House video of the session.]

Giving birth can be a difficult and dangerous time for both the mother and the baby. All of us know of births where there could have been horrible outcomes. But today’s hospitals saved those lives.

Massachusetts is world famous for its excellent hospitals located across the state. No one is very far from one. And no pregnant woman is ever turned away.

But now our legislature is setting up the structure for an army of “midwives” to go to poor women’s homes to deliver babies, instead of the mothers going to hospitals for the birth. The new law also approves non-hospital so-called “birth centers” for supposed “low risk” pregnancies. To support this, it creates more bureaucracy, regulations, requirements, and additional health insurance mandates which will cause everyone’s premiums to rise.

Passed by unconstitutional “informal sessions” of House and Senate

This bizarre bill, H4999, was “enacted” in House and Senate “informal sessions” on August 15, 2024 - by only six House members (out of 160) and four (out of 40) Senators. But the Massachusetts Constitution requires half of each body for a legal quorum, and that was ignored. The bill was quickly signed into law by the governor.

A dangerous step backwards?

The bill purports to serve “medically underserved populations” defines as:

a historically underserved population or a population within a geographic area with a lack of access to primary care, behavioral health or perinatal healthcare providers or have a high infant mortality, high poverty or high elderly population

This begs two important questions: (1) What part of Massachusetts lacks access to a primary care hospital? We don’t know of any. (2) Isn’t it a dangerous step backwards to promote birth at home by a midwife or in a non-hospital “birth center” to a population with high infant mortality? That would seem obvious, except to our elected officials.

A jumble of new bureaucracy, regulations, requirements

To carry this all out, the new law creates a jumble of bureaucracy and related requirements:

  • An extensive “committee” to advise the Secretary of Health and Human Services on new regulations, legislation, and related matters regarding midwifery, birth centers, and pregnancy issues. Each committee member serves a three-year term.
  • A nine-member Board of Registration in Midwifery to manage that bureaucratic process.
  • A Task Force on Maternal Health Access and Birthing Patient Safety – to “study” a long list of issues and make recommendations. [Note the avoidance of the word “mother”!]
  • Licensing and certification of “professional midwife” and regulations on midwifery.
  • Licensing and certification of “freestanding birth centers.”
  • Licensing and certification of “lactation consultant.”
  • Requiring doctors to test mothers for various mental health issues and discuss treatments.
  • Requiring doctors to test newborn babies for a list of medical conditions, whether the parents want these tests or not.

New health insurance mandates

Everyone’s health insurance is now required to cover the following:

  • Pasteurized donor human milk and donor human milk-derived products
  • Coverage for treatment of additional mental health issues, including postpartum depression and major depressive disorder screenings.
  • Home visiting for mental services, including “physical, emotional, and informational” support services during and after pregnancy.

The law also states, “Such coverage shall not be subject to any cost-sharing, including co-payments and co-insurance, and shall not be subject to any deductible.”

New business mandates

The cost of doing business in Massachusetts is going up.

The new law expands mandated employee “sick time,” stating, “Earned sick time shall be provided by an employer for an employee” to:

  • Attend the employee’s routine medical appointment or a routine medical appointment for the employee’s child, spouse, parent or parent of spouse.
  • Address the psychological, physical or legal effects of domestic violence.
  • Address the employee’s own physical and mental health needs, and those of their spouse, if the employee or the employee’s spouse experiences pregnancy loss or a failed assisted reproduction, adoption, or surrogacy.

Attack on pro-life pregnancy centers

Tucked into the text of the new law is a section that is clearly meant to limit the ability of pro-life pregnancy centers to operate freely and independently:

Section 2E. A person shall not provide ultrasound services pertaining to a possible or actual pregnancy except under the supervision of a provider or other licensed health care professional who, acting within their scope of practice, provides medical care for people who are pregnant or may become pregnant.

This extra requirement has never been necessary. Operating an ultrasound machine is simply to show a mother a picture of her developing baby. Pro-life centers should not be required to have a professional person on staff at all times to provide medical care.

Absurd woke language throughout the new law

This should give you an idea of the lunatic state of mind of our legislators. Even though the bill focuses on the issues faced by a pregnant woman, the word “woman” is not found anywhere in the 49-page law.

Instead, the terms “perinatal individuals,” “birthing patient,” “pregnant people,” and “postpartum individuals” are used throughout the text of this new law. Ask your Senator or State Rep to explain that and see what you get back!

Major lobbying force behind this law: A lunatic far-left pro-abortion group!

It should be noted that the most vocal supporter of this law (and apparently the major lobbying force behind it) is “Reproductive Equity Now,” a staunch pro-abortion group.

ALT TEXT This photo from the Reproductive Equity Now website shows a member speaking at the Boston Common next to an "Abortion is Health Care" sign.

A representative of Reproductive Equity Now told State House News that this law (instead of being a step backwards) provides a way to “safely” access “care with dignity” and that the legislation serves to “deliver real advancements in birthing justice.” These are the people your legislators are listening to.

The turncoat Republicans legislators who helped

It wasn’t just leftist Democrats in these informal sessions. Rep. Hannah Kane (R-Danvers) and Sen. Patrick O’Connor (R-Weymouth) were also part of them, and voted yes.

O’Connor took the unusual step of making a speech at an informal session – in support of this terrible bill! He called the bill “important overall health care for women” that will “make a huge impact on people’s lives,” and said, “I just want to thank everyone who played a part in making this happen.”  This is what happens to weak RINO Republicans when they’re in office too long.

Final thoughts

The obvious question is: What happens when there is a sudden terrible life-threatening problem during birth, either at home with a midwife or at a local “birthing center”? Do they call an ambulance and hope it gets there in time, and then to the hospital? All to cater to the latest radical fad?

The arrogance of our lawmakers is unbelievable. While the 200-member Massachusetts legislature enjoyed its five-month paid vacation, a small handful came in and unconstitutionally enacted this bizarre new law.

It’s critically necessary that good people stand up to this. Click here to get involved in our effort to end such “informal sessions.”

Thirty-Three Reasons This Liberal is Voting for Trump

Only thirty-three? Liberals are starting to realize that the Democratic Party is not liberal.

True liberalism must respect individual liberty and natural law, along with natural rights.

Will Republicans actually take up that mantle and fight for what is right and fight for our rights?

Democrats Worrying about California?

Adam Schiff just sent out a fundraising email that headlined "Republicans are bullish about California."

California Will Determine the House's Balance of Power

Then there's this report from ABC news.

There are a couple of trends that this article is not referencing.

Latino voters are moving to the right. That is a fact.

Public safety issues are playing such a large role, that Democrats who were registered as such for a long time are now switching their registration just out of sheer frustration with the rising crime. Democrats are lining up behind Republican-turned-Independent Nathan Hochman in order to oust pro-criminal LA County District Attorney George Gascon.

A friend of mine, his wife was a poll worker in the primary this year. She noticed that a lot of black voters were requesting to change their registration to Republican. This polling station was located in Downtown Los Angeles, one of the most Democratic sections of one of the most Democratic counties in the most Democratic state in the union.

On another front, the black reparations activists are so angry, because the state legislature killed most of the reparations legislation this year. A number of them said they were going to sit out the election and harm Harris' chances. Black progressive activists are so angry at the state Democratic Party, that they are willing to throw an election or two to help Republicans this one time ... or are they?

I guess there is something going on in the state that I wasn't aware of!

Regardless of the troubling internal numbers or external activism efforts of the California Republican Party (including the fact that Republican registration has increased ever so slightly compared to Democratic registration), Democrats are worried about California, and they are particularly concerned about not flipping a number of (what they perceive as) winnable Congressional seats.

Trouble in (Liberal) Torrance Paradise: Adelsman Turning on Asam Sheikh?

Is Take Back Torrance plotting to oust Councilman Sheikh?

Jean Adelsman is big mad because Torrance City Councilman Asam Sheikh put kids first and voted against the "pride" resolution earlier this year.

It sounds like she and other unrepentant liberals in town have their knives out for Asam in 2026!

She writes in her latest "Take Back Torrance" post:

Four offices will be on the ballot [in 2026]: Chen and Kaji have filed for re-election in 2026 and have identified candidates to run for District 5’s open seat (Mattucci will term out) and for District 3’s Asam Sheikh’s seat. That will be a repeat of 2024 when Chen and Kaji attempted to oust Lewis and also gain the open seat.

Lewis had been appointed and so had less than two years under her belt when she ran, but she was rewarded with re-election.

Sheikh may have a tougher time against a Chen-Kaji-backed opponent. He disappointed many – gay and straight – by his aligning with Chen on opposing Pride Month.

He disappointed many -- gay and straighht -- by his aligning with Chen on opposing Pride Month.

First of all, Councilwoman Kalani and the other three members who voted for the pride resolution should have aligned with Torrance voters, especially those in the audience, and rejected it.

Second, Councilman Sheikh clearly feared the outrage of his Muslim peers, many of whom attended the city council meeting to oppose the resolution. I am so grateful for their attendance.

Third, Sheikh sounds like his own man, even if he voted with Mayor Chen. He is not merely aligning himself with the mayor, although we know that Adelsman has as much of a targeted rancor against the mayor as anyone who opposes "Pride Month." The fixation on Mayor Chen is also disturbing, and her need to tie every "bad" vote to the mayor is unfair. Does she really think that Sheikh is a puppet of Chen?

Of course, the larger obsession that Torrance liberals have with pushing sexual perversion is disturbing. Why is there this obsession with normalizing a destructive behavior and false identities? And aren't there more pressing issues for the city to face, like ensuring that the budget and withstand the next economic downturn, or improving public safety?

Since when did "woke" ever benefit a city? Toyota, which was headquartered in Torrance, just backed out of all the Pride-Woke-DEI nonsense this week, and pledged to stay out of Pride parades. One would think that local governments would start getting the message, too.

I do think it's interesting that liberal outrage is lingering against Councilman Sheikh for doing the right thing (even if he had to be pressured to do it) in voting against the pride resolution. It will be interesting what happens in 2026, when Sheikh asks the voters for another term. Will he?

Torrance School Board Debate, 2024: Very Disappointing

On October 11, 2024, The Torrance-area League of Women Voters hosted a debate for the school board candidates running to replace Jeremy Gerson (who was elected to the city council) as well as for the two candidates running for state assembly.

I was really surprised to hear about this. Last year, Al Muratsuchi didn't bother debating George Barks for the state assembly seat. I assumed he would just ignore Barks again and "coast" to re-election. However, there is a growing unease among Democrats across the country, including in California, so it seems.

Not only that, but it seemed as though there was very little notice for this debate. Normally, I am pretty well on top of information like this. Someone in Hermosa Beach had to inform me about this debate, and it was only the day before!

Why are Democrats like Al Muratsuchi participating in debates? Adam Schiff debated Steve Garvey, as well. Are things more competitive on the ground than I had realized?

California is a battleground state, at least as far as the Congressional races are concerned. Kamala Harris is not as popular as people think she is, and she is bleeding support with key Democratic demographics. Add to that the fact that the California Democratic state legislative supermajority basically defied and dismissed the Black Supremacist movement and rejected all the major reparations legislation this past session ... and Democrats are feeling nervous!

Before I talk about the state assembly debate, I want to comment on the school board debate for Trustee Area E. David Zygielbaum, Tony Yeh, and Charles Deemer are all running to replace Jeremy.

Tony Yeh

That debate was ... disappointing.

It's clear that Zygielbaum is the establishment favorite, based on all the endorsements has has racked him, which he repeated at length. He spent so much time talking about his endorsements, including from the hostile Torrance Teachers Association, that he failed to answer a significant question: how did he feel about California AG Rob Bonta's lawsuit against Chino Valley Unified School District regarding their transparency policy about student identity issues?

Dave Zygielbaum

He refused to answer the question, but dodged with the empty pablum about making schools "Welcoming for all students."

Of course, how can a school be welcoming for anyone if biological males are using female facilities on a campus? He also dismissed that concern as a "national issue," even though candidate Tony Yeh clearly addressed the issue, and that parents in the district were raising alarms about this issue.

Charles Deemer

I will add, however, that Yeh spent so much time focusing on the transgenderism problems in the school district, that he spent very little time explaining anything else. Yes, I am glad that he wants children to be safe, and I am really pleased that he directly answered the question about Rob Bonta. On the other hand, I was really unhappy with the lack of preparation or attention to school issues evinced by the candidates, aside from Zygielbaum.

Charles Deemer may be a perennial candidate, but he sure didn't act like one tonight. He seemed unsure of his answers, or unfamiliar with the school district. He actually said that he would visit all the schools in his trustee area if he gets elected. Zygielbaum boasted that he had already visited the schools and the principals (and the teachers union--can't forget that!), and Yeh informed the audience that he had spoken with parents about issues with the school district.

Zygielbaum was certainly polished and prepared in his presentation. The only problem is that he wants to keep the status quo of moral lassitude in our schools. He is not a leader. He will just do whatever the teachers unions tell him to do. That's that basic trend in Torrance: people line up behind the person with all the big name endorsements, and hope that he won't make any noise or any real improvements.

And another issue about endorsements ...

Tony Yeh shared that he was endorsed by the Torrance Police Officers Association. Then Dave Zygielbaum countered and contradicted him, stating that since both of them had been endorsed by the TPOA in the city council elections in previous years, that neither one of them was endorsed. I followed up with the TPOA after the debate tonight, and I am waiting for them to get back to me about this controversy.

All in all, the candidates seemed either very polished (and fake) or unprepared or unfocused: a very disappointing debate.
